Okay, early season I think. Episode with the Nebari underground to get rid of the whole mind control thing. What happened to the Chianna and her brother carrying that evil virus thing...they were the carriers and this virus was going to be unleased. I have been watching and watching looking for an episode, why didn't this ever get done?

Or did it not show state side?

okay, so other question, do the Nebari listen to the Cure and Ecco and the Bunnymen???

A story arc that fell by the wayside...or else was to be taken on in later seasons.

Of course in a hopeful world it leaves the door open for a Farscape spinoff!

okay, so other question, do the Nebari listen to the Cure and Ecco and the Bunnymen???

........and maybe Souxie and the Banshees as well!

Heh, they program got cancelled, that's what happens when programs get cancel, story lines just disappear without being resolved :D If the mini generates enough interest in sindication for the series we might see this story resolved.

That was a story arc that seemed to disappear right around season two. It was big in the background for a while and then just gone. It might be that as other plotlines began forming, the Nebari were forgotten by the writers, or it could be there was some plan for them in the future that we didn't get to see because of the cancellation.

Hmmm, I guess with the whole story line going in the Scaron v. Sebacean plot line, that any possible ally would have shown up. That's all. I mean if you are going to try to mess with the two most powerful forces in that end of the universe, many other races would be jockeying around behind who they think may win. You know, like the Spice Guild in Dune:)

I think it would be good if they picked back up on that, it also shows a bit of the real Chi.

Now, another episode that dropped, or if you all could help me to determine if it was just cut in the us airing, was the bone sucking chich. Now there was a great fun bit. Great costume to boot, so much went into the complicated creature I thought for sure they would show us what happed after D'Argo suggested she visit the peacekeepers.

Hope that wasn't a spoiler, that was Season 1, was it not?

That might have been interesting if she did hook up with the peacekeepers, or else pretend to get along and then eat a few. She just disappeared after that episode and there's no way of knowing what might have happened to her.

Actually M'Lee did get mentioned in Family Ties. A couple of throwaway lines between Crais and Scorpius.

SCORPIUS: Any other vessels in motion out there?
CRAIS: Just our own outbound Marauder with the alien girl you adopted.
SCORPIUS: Have you found my security officer assigned to watch her?

So I think M'Lee managed to find a source of her daily recommended allowance of calcium. At least the security officer, and maybe she even prevailed with the Marauder crew.

ah, who else would adopt her! I think it could have been funny if Secosa(sp) and scorpie mentioned her, she could have been useful as a spy in a way. Perhaps we should suggest this. I mean, do Scarons have bones? Or what are theirs made of?

:D

On the topic of the Nebari threat:

I was told that the Nebari were supposed to be brought back up in season five. *sigh*

I guess it's one of the story thread that got left by the wayside like so many others...

I heard that M'Lee was supposed to be a reappearance in season 5 also. I guess there'll always be rumours of this kind whether it's true or not. I guess people will always project whatever they want to see into the future.

I too ahve always wondered what happened. all I can justify is that they were not a match for the scarrans. Those mothers are bad.

I can't believe I haven't posted in that thread?

anyway I think that it will be brought up again in some way ::crosses fingers:: wether it be in a move spin off or fith season.

I'd really like to see like, a one-season spinoff to truly cover the Nebari, with Chiana, her brother, D'Argo, and Jothee starring, as you already know, JrMTC. With D'Argo mustering the seemingly hopeless Luxans - Luxans with aggressive tendencies - to side with the Nebari Resistance and face off against the Establishment. I'd love that. Personally. ;)

I'd prefer a tri-part episode about the resistance in nebari prime and then a triumph over the establishment that leads to nerri being crowned as some kind of nebari emperor or something

Well those are both really good points... Theresa though, if the Establishment was overthrown then who would lead the people if there were no Emperor, or King, or President, or whatnot? You think Nerri would set about laws that would continue anarchy?

Yes I do... Both Chi and him believe they should do what they want when they want (with whom they want) that is what he is fighting for (and she wants to fight for)

That's a good point... I thought about that, but never really thought about it in depth... hmm...

We also know that the Nebari are mostly very very far away, in that Chiana was a species not familiar to the peacekeepers, and also that their weapons are very powerful-one of their ships can easily destroy a Peacekeeper warship (like the Zalbinion).

Spoiler:

In the "trailer" doesn't the voice over say something about a "surprising twist" perhaps the Nebari join in the war.
