I'm not sure how many of us have checked out ICP, the company behind the masterworks of so many of our favourite Farscape characters and creations, but there was one particular picture that struck me as awesome, yet was never used. I guess DK and Rockne decided that for plot purposes it wouldn't make sense... part of me is hoping to see this thing some day though. A huge, huge Scarren, with everyone's favourite hybrid chained to him. He looks like the Devil himself... just... wow.

There's no way to link the pic because it's on Image Creative's portfolio and can only be saved... but it's too big to attach. x.x;

Just check out their website, and on page two of their portfolio, toward the bottom, give that bad beast a looksie if you haven't done so already. It's like... wow. Scape on.

That is cool. I guess this was an early concept, because it says "Emperor Scarran" and it was established on the show that the ruling class had those pug faces due to the flowers.

I wonder if they revert without the flowers. Hmm...maybe we'll see this guy yet...

I'd love to see this guy. It's the kind of thing that makes you want to write a fanfiction that boldly goes everywhere in the universe, just to throw this huge guy into the mix.

Yeah, about the Emperor and the Pugface thing... I always wondered... do you think the whole thing about the flowers was originally just a cover-up for when the show's creators wanted a more "civilized" look for the Scarrens? I mean... after the new look to the race comes in, it seems like aside from Ahkna's lover, who might I add looks -nothing- like the early Scarrens anyway, they're all pug-faced...

Of course they're on a military base filled with royalty, so... eh. Just a thought.

I would just like to add that if they sold this as a little statue (it looks like one of those McFarlane Toys sculpts, it has a base and everything!), I would definately buy one!

Yeah! So would I! Come to think of it I found Scorpie in that pic to look like a McFarlane Toy, then besides the slightly "digital" look to the big daddy, everything else too. *laughs*
