ACK! Another Farscape actor in "Babe"...

(This may be old news...but I certainly don't remember seeing it anywhere...so forgive me if it is.) So I'm watching "Babe" this afternoon with my kiddos (specifically for the few minutes of our beloved Paul...) and hubby comes in to sit down. Then he gets a confused look on his face and says "That actress is familiar." (The farmer's wife...)

So we sit for a few minutes listening to her talk and then he stands up and screams "THAT'S FURLOW!!"

"No!" I say. "Furlow? In a DRESS? It IS NOT!"

So we listen to her for a few more minutes and there's a line she says that's AWFULLY close to Johnny...and I'll be danged if the farmer's wife isn't Furlow. I even looked it up on imdb...and yupper.

Paul Goddard is in Babe??

I haven't seen that movie in ages, so I can't remember exactly what the farmers wife looks/sounds like, but all I can say is people involved in Farscape have a strange way of reconvening!

EDIT: Well wouldn't ya know, you're right! I just looked it up. Her name is Magda Szubanski, and she was indeed Furlow, and she was indeed in Babe.

Yep, Paul Goddard was in Babe.

I couldn't believe it when i first found out that it was him, because he played a really stuck up/posh kind of guy from what I remember.

And when I saw him, I was like "NOOOO!!! Stark is cool! He cant be the nerdy guy from Babe who I hated when I first watched the movie! NOOO!!!"

He Plays the farmers Son-In-Law and Magda plays the farmers wife, in Both. Pig in the city was mostly crap, but there was a great dream sequence that a parapalegic dog had that had me rolling. Ive watched the firts movies dozens of times with and without my children. Some very subtle humor there.
