How did Aeryn know?

I don't know if the subject has been discussed before, but while rewatching Kansas the other day, something came up that I've never noticed before. Aeryn seems to predict the opening of wormholes, or at least this particular one.

Early in the episode most of the crewe leave Moya to search for John. D'argo said: "Pilot, I don't see any wormhole out here", when Aeryn replies: "Wait for it." and it suddenly appear right in front of Lo'la.

Strange, I thought. Probably a coincident.

But then it happened again. In the closing moments of the episode, just before the wormhole is about to open, Aeryn said:"Here it comes..."

I didn't see that coming, but she certainly did :D

It happened twice in one episode, and it's so obvious that it cannot be a coincident. How could she predict it? Could it be caused by the baby?

Just speculating - it may be the remnants of Pilot DNA, left in her from DNA Mad Scientist.

I never thought she could predict wormholes. John had told them that the wormhole cycled open and closed, so her "wait for it" was just another way of saying "be patient, it'll open any moment now, just as John told us." In fact, he probably gave them the actual time that it opens and closes so they can look at some kind of time keeping device and see that it's about to open, just like we say "here we go" right before a ride starts up in an amusement park. We can't *sense* that the ride is about to start, but we know it does so in regular intervals.

I prefer to think that we don't really know how she does this- it is part of an untold (as yet) story about Aeryn. Just my fantasy - perhaps something to do with her time off Moya between DWTB and Promises. But all the other theories make sense too.

Pilot can see the fields forming (the bubble) , so it would stand the reason that it's possible that Aeyrn could see them as well.
