View Full Version : If there's one place they travel to in the mini...

What should it be? I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet but I've always loved travel and adventure in anything I watch or read, and Farscape is absolutely no exception. Yet there are places they've been to that I think they should go to again, and other places they haven't been to that I think they should definitely end up for whatever reason. Pick one and explain why, my personal choice out of the options I can think of is the Luxan homeworld... which was... called... eh... someone remind me, I'm so bad.

The Luxan homeworld. Then they pick up a bunch of Luxans itching to kick some a** and unleash them on the Thomas's English Muffin aliens.

That's what I was thinking too! A bunch of angry Luxans can dish some damage, and how often have we seen more Luxans to begin with? Oh but... 600 billion ANYTHING can hurt too. Even Hynerians...

No, but they could smell reeeeeeeeeeeeeeal bad. :rollin:

I can just see it...
Emperor Staleek: We will not go down without a fight! We are Scarren! Aim all Dreadnoughts at Hyneria and fire! *sniffs* What is that atrocious smell!?
Ahkna: They've invaded!

I would like to see the Nebari homeworld, but I would be surprised if they didn't end up on Arnessk (the planet in WWL), to pick up Jool if nothing else. I believe she will be in the mini-series. Besides, there were some big loose ends there, though none that absolutely have to be addressed in the mini-series.

But it is the one planet with out any other people, (besides Jool) so they wouldn't have to pay for extras and makeup and stuff...
And I wan't those questions answered. In season 5. ;) :D

Yeah... Arnessk, of course... I just figured there's always the dumb, inconclusive chance they'd just bump into Jool somewhere, somehow... that would make the loose ends on that world really cheesy though. I shouldn't have even added that to the poll because come to think of it, it's damned important they go there.

Since the series started I always had a desire to see Rygel back in Hyneria, see what diversity his 600 billion subjects have (I mean there not all amphibian, check out the colonists in Jeremiah Crichton) and see what he would do as dominar. That would be fun.:aok:

Personally part of me thinks he was actually doing a frelling dren of a job to begin with, and that might be why the Peacekeepers gave his cousin the throne. Of course there's always that whimper of a hopeful chance, that in fact, Rygel was a very good Dominar, and as such he refused to let the PKs run around all over the place, so his more "appropriate" cousin got the throne. Either way, another great place to go, yeah.

It'll be arnesk but it'd be cool if it was Nebari prime ;) but is that just me?

I vote Nebari prime with a buch of full scale Nebari ships in orbit. The gray people have been left out in the cold for too long. They could work the return there into the arc with Chiana's blindness. She needs a tissue graft from another Nebari etc.

Well D'Argo already told Chiana in the final scene of "Bad Timing" they had found a Diagnosan nearby, and that would be the first stop after leaving the seas. Nevertheless any reason is a good reason for going to Nebari Prime. Really I voted the Luxan Homeworld knowing that any and all selections I made should be included in the miniseries, plus several more.

I'd like to see the Sebacean homeworld. It would be interesting if it turned out to be Earth 1,000,000 years after Crichton left. He could stand on the beach in front of a statue of President Braca and scream "Damn you all to hell!"
D'Argo could then sneak up behind him in a monkey suit and scare the dren out of him.
Hey, that makes more sense than that thing Tim Burton put out a couple of years ago.;)

I blinked at that, then got it, and cracked up, leading my coffee to spill all over the desk. That would be hilarious, oh my dren, that would rock.

I think it would be interesting to see the Sebacean homeworld also...Are their cultures as diverse as ours here? The questions go on and on...
I'd also like to see the baby...are they going to go that far though...Sounds like we need some more seasons to me! I'm really looking forward to it, whenever it's released...

I voted for the Luxon homewrold as the Luxons are pretty mad about being betrayed by the peacekeepers but it makes sense that they would go to Arnesk to run into Jool again. They may need to go to the Nebari homeworld to get help for Chiana as well.

Just a random comment, this was my first ever poll so I feel all starry-eyed seeing people talking with a good deal of meaning behind their thoughts. *smirks and goes back to whatever he was doing*

It would be cool to see Nebari Prime and meet up with Nerri again, too! I loved that brother/sister thang between Nerri and Chiana!

I think it will probably be WWL. All the others would involve story arcs taking up too much time for one mini. Although, I think it would be interesting to see the Nebari or Sebacean homeworlds.

You're probably right, Clarsax, so, here's hoping for a Season Five with so many worlds they haven't gone to yet it'll make us spin.

Laughed my ass off at this one, I almost could see the scene :rollin:
On the laughing note, i'd really like to see those Hynerian Kamikazees Rygel talked about back when then faced the Sheyangs :D
A whole bunch of angry buckwheats made up rambo-like and storming by thousands on Scarrans already dying with laughter. That'd probably make a entire year of laughs :D

llpööööölplöålöplöåplåplåplo... sorry. I'm cleaning my keyboard.. had some fried eggs on it... anyway
I'd like to see them all go to Hyneria and depose that fat bastard mockery of a cousin that Rygel has,

Just my 2 cents... If there is a place they may need to go, it might be to the planet they were on in Season of Death. There might be equipment there which may allow them to somehow get John and Aeryn reconstituted...
Just a thought

That's a good idea.. but wasn't the alien going to take the pieces for analysis anyway?

I think it will end up on Hyneria, Rigel is the only original surviving character not to have fufilled his characters full Arc. John found Earth. D'Argo found Jothee and Macton. Zhann past on <sniff> Aeryn, well Aeryn and John are together.
Plus I would be nice to have the Nebari resistance based in Hynerian space (maybe a conflict between Hyneria and Nebari?)

KoH: I like your thinking, how cool would it be to see Little Mr. Go Along Guy battling the Nebari on his turff! :aok:

Now THAT would be a sight to see. After all, a single standard Nebari ship apparently managed to level the Zelbinnion without breaking a sweat. I can see the Nebari having some sort of Godlike Death Star style warships.
Makes me wonder why they haven't pounded the PKs and Scarrens into the dirt yet, even though they have the contagion. Are the Scarrens/PKs more powerful than we suspect?
Still, that is a matter for another topic (which I may or may not start later).
I figure they'll definitely go to Arnessk to pick up Jool and tie together some plot points that were left there. As for where else I'd like them to go, seeing hundreds of Hynerians milling around on Hyneria would be a spectacle. The PK homeworld would be very interesting.
And of course, returning to Earth so we can see Scorpius eating burgers would be a laugh.

Actually more of the former

As you said Chiana still hasan't had her arc complete. It's barly even been touched.
I would kind of like to see Luxor, but it would be amazingly expensive. Luxans have three times the amount of prothetics as Klingons.
I want to see them retaking Rygel's throne like how Rocke described in Horizons. that could fill the mini nicely, but I also reall want to see the Nebari underground worked out.
