Peacekeepers, Scarrans, Nebari, Oh Frell

Considering I'm doing well with my first poll, I thought I'd start another one. Actually I think this has been done before, but I'm not entirely certain... either way it's been a while so I guess there's no harm in a remake..?

Some of us really like the Peacekeepers, and I know there's a heck of a lot of Nebari-lovers... even a few Scarran diehards. I'm talking about, out of the "villain forces" of Farscape introduced - these three probably taking presidence over others in the show... which sides are liked the most?

Personally I've always been tilted closest to the Peacekeepers. They've been given the most scenes and there's the most compassion with them... I guess you could say.

guess what I said? You know me... BTW I don't conceder the PK's an enemy empire I consider Crais (season one) a traitor to the PK's and Scorpy an arch enemy to John but the PK's as a whole are not all bad

That is a really cool outlook on them, it's just that their training and militaristic ways are always viewed as harsh... but effective! :aok:

I can't choose:

I like the Nebari because for whatever reason I think they're cool (maybe it's because I think Chi rocks).

I like the Peacekeepers because they have such childhood trama it makes them all a little on the nutty side.

The Scarran's...well they scare the hezmana out of me...

When I see everyone remarking with such humor on the Scarrans, I almost have to feel bad for Staleek, Ahkna, Jenek, the random Scarran soldiers, and, of course, though hardly introduced, the Hierarchy themselves. Then I look back at their Hitlerish ways and turn around. "No. They just suck and we should all point fingers and laugh at them". ;)

I like the Nebari, mainly because they are able to mind cleanse just about anyone, and the way some of them act like sadistic cheerful people is creepy. Besides that they haven't been explored much in the show so they're still that kind of mysterious empire building up in the background.

The PKs scare me because of the potential that humans have to pretty much turn into them... (and I don't mean in an evolutionary 100,000 years in the future sense like what is being discussed in another thread. )
The Scarrans are scary just because they are big and ugly and almost indestructable. Don't want to piss them off. :rollin:
And the Nebari are, what was the word someone else used: insidious? Good word and that they are. If you don't agree they pull out your eyeballs.. ick.. or give your race a ticking timebomb a'la STDs. Scary. :eek:

PK/Nebari type humans (this is so off frelling topic sorry) or the reverse an alien race distroing most of the human race... (like I said not at all FS related)

Well, you could have both, but then the reader wouldn't feel too bad that the human race got wiped out.. you know, if it turns out in the future we, (collectivley speaking), suck. ;)

So do I! I love getting people to look at our species like garbage sometimes... even with multiple other sentient races around there I'd still grimace at us on occasion no matter how Scarran-esque the others could be.

My choice is the PKs. Why? Their uniforms. LOL. Seriously, I find it almost ironic in a universe clear across the galaxies, that these people who look like us and are genetically compatible, can be considered the counterpart in our history, that being the Nazi's. If for no other reason than their belief in racial purity and that other races are inferior. Sound familiar? But not all PKs are bad. Gilina is a good example.

That scarren heat probe thing scares the hell out of me. LOL. Not to mention they're ugly as all get out. :rollin:

I've got to pick the Pks. We gets hints from episodes like different destination that they really were a noble organization once that just started to go sour in the last 500 years or so. I'd really like to see an explanation of how that happened. It's only a time period covering one or two sebacean generations.

And the PK in film obviously were on the ground. Because their symbolics is taken from the Russian poster printed after revolution.

I had to vote for the Nebari. Not much is known about them and their cpabilities except for the mind cleansing and their destruction of the Zelbinion. It's the unknown factor that makes them the biggest threat.

I like the PK'S their the most or seem to be organized , in controll of everyone else but all their commanders are running out of their minds. I'd like to see what could happen if the crew of Moya would end up destroying the Peace Keepers. Their dysfunctional Nazi's it's like 21st century Hogan's Heros. I enjoyed that show!

Peacekeeppers are portrayed as kind of clumsy and bad villains, cause they always lose, and get their bases destroyed.

Plus the Scarrans are scary.

I suspect that they are actually quite nice once you get to know them.

I voted Peacekeeper. With characters like Crais, Scorpius, Braca and others they are by far the most interesting of the empires to me. And my lady Aeryrn and Gilina was once a part of their empire.

Scarrans bring alot of interesting action to the show and I like how they have the ability to make someone tell the answers to their questions.
