Shep is a VERY cool Scaper guy. We've had numerous reports of him using 'scapisms' in his reports. A few weeks ago we heard that he said "All the dren that's fit to report."

And before that, we received info that he had said "In just a microt we'll have all the latest news for you..."

:D :D

Very cool he mentioned us again! Send the man Scaper love!!! He's certainly helped us out a time or two with his mentions. :D

Isn't it cool? It's like a secret language!!!

There we go, Otto. I think you just suggested a plan we've been waiting far too long to discuss, neurochips implanted into the people of Earth. :rollin:

I tried looking for transcripts on FoxNews' site, but was unsucessful.

Though, here's an e-mail address for the show: studiob@foxnews.com

incase anyone wants to ask him about Farscape or mention our appreciation of his sneaking in Farscape slang. :)

I have noticed Sheppy saying dren and microt....before. I guess I just didn't notice because the news is always so dire...but he's my fave reporter and I've always e mailed his show numerous times...also O Reily too...Please everyone e mail either studio b or just the e mail address that Patrick put up....thanks for that....

Because the Farscape words have now been said by someone other than the actors of the show, on a national news show, don't they now qualify to be added to Webster's dictionary?

LOL! Mr. DG has those guys on 24/7, and I've probably heard him use those Scapisms and didn't even notice! They probably just sounded natural to me! :rollin:

Actually, I know something about this. Webster's New World Dictionary won't use them unless they start to spread a bit more. For example, if other TV personalities and celebrities started using them, they might be perceived as seeping into the mainstream. Go to Wiley.com for more info on this line of dictionaries, which is actually used by the Associated Press as their "official" dictionary.

On another subject, in addition to thanking Smith you should all thank Rene San Miguel over at CNN. Without his reporting on the Save Farscape movement back in the beginning, we might have been a lot fewer in number and the mini-series might never have happened.
