VCR, honey. VCR. My alarm goes off at 4:30 a.m. - ain't no way I'm staying up late to watch (OR getting up early to watch!)

I have all the episodes on tape or DVD, but all the same, I like being able to watch Farscape when it airs. It would be nice if I could do so without needing to stay up all night.

I have all of the episodes on either tape or DVD as well I watch the show when it comes on because I want give it ratings when I am awake. I can catch the 5am Fri shows cause I am up for work at that time. The other times are too early. That's bad to get new viewers in light of the mini coming in the future.:(

I honestly think the late showings is an attempt by Skiffy to limit the Farscape fanbase.

Awww... I was really enjoying winding down on a Sunday nite with Farscape at 11p or 12a... These air times are making me wish I was still getting woken up for the 2am and 4 am feedings... all I had when my little one was on that schedule were infomercials...

I was thinking the same thing. I love Farscape, but these are some bad hours for me. What does SciFi have against Farscape?

I have all the eps on DVD too (except the last 4 - gotta wait until July for them. I still have them on tape though). But I still like watching Farscape when its on tv too. Strange but true, seeing them with the commercials reminds me of how I felt when I first saw the episodes; the excitement and an...tici............pation I felt each week waiting for each new ep, and for the commercial breaks to end so I could see what would happen next. I can't remember the last time I saw an ep on tv.

Guys it has been a while since I have posted. I must say that helping moving my brother to Kissimme has been torture. I have managed to see the Scape episodes whent they have been on. Will they not play different episodes at better times? They play like the same 10 episodes. I have no problem withthat except that we can gain noi more fans thisa way and it is hard to stay up to watch an episode you stayed up for a month ago. Since apparently PK War is coming in October I bet skiffy starts putting it on in it's afternoon slots. I cannot wait!!

You don't effect the ratings unless you have a Neilsen box. Sad but true.....it's the most annoying thing we're up against in this campaign. :headbang: :irate: :grumpy: :gnash:

This is really awful. One daytime rotation a month isn't going to cut it. Sometimes I think SciFi wants Farscape and its mini to fail.

This is really awful. One daytime rotation a month isn't going to cut it. Sometimes I think SciFi wants Farscape and its mini to fail.Only sometimes Clarsax? As far as I'm concerned the clock is ticking for Skiffy. They have done no advertising on their website for the Mini except to post one little blurb on SciFi Wire when it was announced. And the Farscape page doesn't count. You have to look for that. The mini should be mentioned on the front page of the site so newbies will check it out. They have (to the best of my knowledge) not done any advertising on their own channel for the mini (and I think we would have heard if they had becuase there are still people on this board who watch skiffy). They may or may not have had something to do with the TV Guide article, but I am leaning towards them having nothing to do with it except for provinding a quote and some requested pictures because in recent weeks there have been articles on Stargate, Farscape, Firefly and Enterprise in TV Guide. I think they are just doing these articles because they know the "cult" community keeps an eye out for them and will buy the magazine more readily if they do more stories on those type shows. The fact that we wre told that TV Guide was going to monitor the sales of the edition with the FS article strongly hints at that.
ComicCon is fast approaching. It is probably the best chance skiffy will have all summer to start building buzz for the Mini. Look what it did for BSG last year. If skiffy does not do a lot of promoting of FS during that con it will be an ominous sign that skiffy is just gonna let FS come and go and just get whatever ratings word of mouth can get for it. That may sound paranoid, but I'm getting more and more concerned that skiffy is gonna frell us again. It certainly seems that they have no intention of trying to get anyone to watch by hooking them on the show. There are plenty of decent spots they could use FS in during the late afternoons, the hours just after prime time, and weekends. But they still continue to show it at times when most people would have no chance of seeing it.
There is still time for skiffy to prove me wrong, but they would need to start fairly soon. Like by early August.
Sci-Fi has updated Farscape's airdates through the end of September. And guess what? Nothing's changed. So, at least 17 days before the mini, Farscape will still be airing at 3-5 AM on Fridays, 1 AM on Mondays, and one daily rotation (9/16). i really really hope that sci-fi has a marathon between October 1 and October 17.

Yeah, it is worth it though. If SCIFI wants to play games I will play it too. They have a double dose of SG-1 5 days a week usually. They could easily stick Farscape in that slot.

I really don't know what they have against "Fractures". I mean, why Sci-Fi, why? that's one of my favorite episodes (except for the whole Rygel in drag thing). And we don't get to see it again. I really dislike that channel.

Do you or anyone else know if we in the "States" (Yanks) can get "Space" on a Dish ?
my Cable company all though pretty good likes to play games, and I was thinking about switching to a Dish, if I could get space then that would heavily sway my decision.

The first post has been updated with October episode titles. In the Daytime Marathons, there's been some "creative scheduling" such as A Bug's Life showing before Durka Returns, and A Human Reaction immediately followed by Nerve.
Note that Skiffy is continuing with their Monday 1:00 a.m. showings and their Friday 3:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m. showings that are not a part of the "all 88 episodes" marathons.
Thought I was in the twilight zone reading this thread--October--May--July--OOOOOOHHHHHH, OLD THREAD UPDATED IN FIRST POST, before we start the time travel.
Hmmm, so the order's a little screwy. Well, it's always been like that I guess.

Point is moot now, fall schedule moved the show to Saturdays at 5 PM eastern. Space is still better than Skiffy though. The producers actually listen to us. It was originally going to be on at 10 AM eastern on Saturdays, but we made such a stink that they moved it to 5 PM eastern.
