I thought that was very telling. Don't really have to read between the lines there that she was saying that she and John were lovers. :) No wonder Jack picked that time in her Prowler to bring up the subject of Aeryn's relationship with John -- inquiring minds want to know.

John: "So, what's next? We break out the bare-ass baby pictures?"
Jack: "Hey, that's not a bad idea."
Olivia: "Yah. Let's take a vote. Aeryn?"
Aeryn has a huge grin on her face. She nods.
Jack: "Let me get the photo album."
Aeryn: "Of course."
John: "No. We're not gonna... you're not lookin at my bare ass."
Aeryn: "Why not?"
Aeryn: "I've seen it already."

Yes, Aeryn did say that. It's difficult to hear, as others are speaking at the same time and Aeryn's saying that to John quietly, but it's definitely there. :D

Why am I at work when I need to verify things like this? I should take my DVDs with me wherever I go. Everyday there is an occasion where I need them desperately.

Um...but Aeryn has seen a lot more of John than just his "bare ass". ;)

Generally, I play the DVDs with the stereo on. That could be how I picked up on that. I don't know about anyone else, but I have to play it that way or else I'm afraid I'll miss pieces of dialogue, which is easy to do. I haven't figured out if it's mostly the Aussie accents (which I don't think it is) or just the sound in general?!????

My TV (a new one at that) drops lines all the time. like John's line apon seeing Princess Aeryn in JQ "Cool!" My Tv droped it but I know it's in there.

LOL Sometimes I think they record the dialogue softer just so we have to strain our ears and pay attention more. :D Case in point was a scene in Hidden Memory when the PK high command guy was coming on to Chiana in the bar scene. The dialogue of that scene was hard to hear over the background music.

Yeah, I had to play the bar scene in Hidden Memory a second time to hear Chi tell the guy that she doesn't give out "free samples." ROFL. Good quality sound is a must sometimes with this show, but well worth it. :)

I'm so glad you posted this, I watched it last night and turned the volume way up! Definately there. One of the unhelpful things is that the line is off camera, so you don't even have a visual to help - darn it - wish I could have seen John's reaction...then that Caroline shows up! :mad:

lol, technically Aeryn saw Crichton's "bare ass" waaaaay back at the very beginning. When he woke up nekkid in the cell in Premiere, Aeryn was in the corner the whole time. She probably got a really good eyefull.

LOL. Yeah, she was probably pretending to be unconscious while she took in that gorgeous body of his. No wonder she straddled him in the manner in which she did. :rollin:

Went and checked out a ep transcript-it's there! She definately said it! Wonder just how much we do miss by not having a really good sound system hooked up to the TV??

Sometimes I've had to play a scene again to hear something and I don't know how much to attribute to sound recording or the Aussie accents. Maybe we're just a beat behind.

hmm... interesting proposition... I know that ayrin and john have "engaged the clutch"

but... well, why is it that there is no mention of whether body heat can cause a sebacean harm? I mean they can't stand the heat right? so I imagine that "pumping the flesh pumps" might actualy be bad for ayrin?? maybe I'm reading too much into this
