I was thinking. SPOILERS

With the rumors that Kim de Lury might be Einstein and the mini-series will include wormholes and Jool and stuff there is something that could happen that would ruin everything.
Things that could happen to the horror of scapers everywhere.
1. John gets complete mastery of wormholes and finds where Hyneria, and the Luxan home world are.
2. John learns the truth about the connection between Interions, Sebaceans, and Humans.
3. John gets D'argo home and Jool goes with him.
4. John gets Rygel home and back to the throne.
5. John possible returns Noranti to homeworld.
6. Chiana finds where her brother is ands leaves to go find him.
7. The Scarren empire is completly destroyed somehow and Scorpius is happy and leaves John and Co. alone.
8. Grayza remains locked up.
9. Stark goes back to searching for Zhaan.
10. Sikozu goes back to homeworld.
11. Moya and Pilot go off to explore the universe without the crew.
12. John and Aeryn find a peaceful world and raise their family without anything exciting happening.

That's it. That would be horrible and it would pretty much leave it completly closed to a 5th season. Sorry but it was a scary thought i had today.

Maybe its just me, but dont think Rockne...(well no, actually Kemper ;) )...would allow Farscape to "end" with "everyone finds their own wormholes leading to their home-world and they live happily ever after" :) There always seems to be a wrench thrown into the plans. :D But thats why I love the show.

I can see a couple of things you listed above happening, but not all of them. Too much of a fairy tale ending, too easy and not Farscape. :D

I do see what you are saying though, you dont want all the loose ends to be tied up in such a way that would prevent a 5th season.

You must believe in *the Kemper* (or *the O'Bannon*, or *the Henson*) or whoever it was that predominantly wrote the mini.

Oh, Ploppy, it goes much farther than that:

13. The Nebari government decides mind cleansing isn't really ethical afterall and loosens the reigns on Nebari society. A cultural rennaisance ensues.

14. Furlow is apprehended by the Interstellar Better Business Bureau enforcement arm, re-educated and now charges fair rates for space ship repairs.

15. Back on Earth, Republicans, Democrats and Libetarians have figured out if they treat each other with respect and work together, they really can make the world a better place.

16. Katoya (from Mental As Anything) gets a hold of the aphrodisiac gas that was leaking in Talyn (Meltdown), closes his mental warfare bootcamp and opens a free love commune instead. The heat cage John was imprisoned in is used only to make shish-ka-bob horsdeuvres for the guests.

17. The patriarchal leaders of Khurtanan decide to grant equality to the women, but at a huge celebratory banquet, an enormous communal pot of Quatal mollusc chowder is made using hundreds and hundreds of mulluscs. Every one partakes of a bowl and subsequently die horribly after each mullusc is shared among literally thousands of people.

18. The Zenetan pirates use the flax for good, clearing populated solar systems of stray asteroids and debries, for cost only. Staanz finds a mate from her own species with an uncanny resemblance to D'Argo.

19. The Charrids become vegetarians and stop conquering neighboring species to consume them. The entire galactic sector breaths easier; all except the Delvians, who increase defense spending exponentially.

20. The Tarkan Freedom Fighters underbid the Peacekeepers for all the Galactic law enforcement contracts. The PK's all retire, return to their homeworld and there is no one left to chase John and Aeryn.

I have faith in the ability of Kemper and O'Bannon to unravel 2 or 3 other ends for every loose end that is tied up!

Uhmm. Wrong genre I think. Fantasy is probably more appropriate.

I don't think they would do that. For one thing, that's an awful lot to happen in just four episodes' worth. And any mini with those things happening would leave me feeling cheated,as if they had slapped it all together for a quick fix, and I don't think Rockne would make anything that would leave fans feeling like that. By 'conclusion' they probably just mean bringing closure to Bad Timing, not closure to every plot hole in the entire series. While those events could finish off the series with some kind of ending, I'm convinced that no one in the Farscape crew would want to end it with such a lousy, rushed and rather ordinary feeling mini.

I would expect to see closure for a couple of characters maybe but not on the level you are talking of. We still want to see more of Braca's story. He seems like a great character that still has room for more depth.

I know that was OT and I am sorry.

I cannot imagine either Rockne or Kemper being foolish enough to spend the money for new sets and then effectively kill the franchise by solving everyone's problems. Why? How dumb would that be?

I expect the mini will reverse the crystallization process and restore John and Aeryn

It might fix Chianna's blindness(I think that is getting old)

Since Tammy is in the cast, she will somehow be reunited with the crew or portions thereof and supposedly the tile will play a part in the plot

The Creature shop announces they've been makking critters like *Farscape on acid*-- so there's another expense you'd expect them to want to see recouped.

Scorpy and Sikuzo will still be around. He's too great a villian to do away with.

Braca and Grayza will see more action

Akhna and the emperor(Duncan Young) are in the cast so we'll see Scarrans.

I think some plot lines will se some closure, but I would bet a lot that Rock,Froon and Kemper have a gazillion more things they could do given a season 5--or a movie--or ?????

I have a few theories on the mini series....

John finds out he's both the Alpha and Omega for the sebacean race when he accidentally destroys the entire race and then discovers his "de-evolved" clone from My Three Crichtons unlocked the wormhole technology that was also cloned in his head and used a wormhole to escape being a labrat to study and traveled back in time and populated the first ever Sebacean planet.

Thats just one of my many theories on what will be in the mini-series =)

Other ways to go wrong

21. Stark opens a law firm.

I can already see the opening arguments...

MY SIDE, YOUR SIDE, MY SIDE, YOUR SIDE...

22. Dargo becomes a Pro Football player

See Kansas

23. Rygel plans a coup to recover his throne

Muppets with guns how can you go wrong!

24. Chiana and Jool do one of those TLC show on "what not to wear in the uncharted teritories"

With Rygel, Braca, Grayza, Jool and Stark as the only current main characters not paired off some perverse new relationships are forged to further exploit the shippy aspect of the fandom.

Wow. The fact that you managed to work Cro-Magnon Crichton into a story... I may weep. :lol

O, man, you guys are making me laugh hard, out loud, with some of your scenarios.

"19. The Charrids become vegetarians and stop conquering neighboring species to consume them. The entire galactic sector breaths easier; all except the Delvians, who increase defense spending exponentially."*laugh*

"21. Stark opens a law firm.

Funny.

Other things that could happen:

During the de-crystalization of John & Aeryn, there's a tiny little glitch in the program and John ends up carrying the baby.
Breathe John...Breathe!
Screw that! Where's Wrinkles?...I NEED DRUGS!

Chiana decides to become a nun.

Moya decides she's had enough, spaces everybody and starbursts away to the Leviathan equivalent of Tahiti.

Noranti reveals that she's not really an elderly woman with hygene issues, but has actually been a young hottie all along.

A trans-dimensional wormhole dumps the starship Enterprise complete with STNG crew into the UTs. They proceed to travel about being superior at people until they get eaten by a budong. Meanwhile, the massive wave of annoyance created in their wake focuses into a powerful destructive force centered at the Temple. Jool calls her friends in to help her focus the awesome energy of this ancient "Weapon of Annoyance". Which threatens to destroy most of the UTs with its power.

Whatever happens, whatever you may think is going to happen, remember that DK is writing this thing in part and that he's already thought of everything... including that... Show of hands- how many votes for DK as Evil Overlord?

Check out the story I wrote (sorry about the shameless self-promotion) on just that theme. It won a Sparky for second place, even! :D It's called Morning Sickness.

I cast my vote for DK as Evil Overlord. :hi:

The ending will result in several different tv comedy spinoffs.

John and Aeryn settle down, but oh, NO! Aeryns mother is reincarnated in that funny situation comedy, "My mother the Prowler."

Bracca is captain of a ship load of misfits in, "Bracca's Hero's,"

And Pilot turns his control station into a TV studio for his new talk show, UT Tonight."

Anyone else have better or more warped ideas?

Actually reality hits home at the end of the show when John finds out he's having Pentuplets with Aeryn! The last shot in the show is him hitting the newly installed bar in Moya's Hammond side to order one bourbon, one scotch and one beer to salve his anxiety ridden mind!!!:jedi:
