I still haven't gotten to see it, and I don't know how long it'll be till the next chance to watch it, but... it's the only episode from Season One I've yet to catch, and I'm really curious as to what it's about. I hear it has Francesca Buller in it, and some VERY early-on Scorpius tear-jerking, or something..?

Bone to Be Wild as you know is a filler between Hidden Memory and Family Ties. Basically Moya answers a distress signal and half the crew heads down an asteroid to check it out while Aeryn and the others are left on Moya to deal with not yet named Talyn.

For more details:

John learns something new about Zhaan, D'Argo sneezes, Aeryn bonds. Scorpius and Crais show they don't like they each other. Fran Buller, feeling peckish, threatens to eat her husband. Er...that is M'lee gets peckish.

Not one of my favorite eps, but there's a few choice scenes I love, particularly with Crais and Scorpius. I don't recall anything tear-jerking, except maybe the end?

Not sure about the tear-jerking specifications, really, maybe the end... whatever it is! :D

Thanks though, FieryHands, for the scoop!

It's a pretty good stand-alone ep, but it kind of sucks that it's right in the middle of the season ending arc.

The end is amusing, not tear jerking. Fran is great in this episode. And we learn more about Zhaan. Jeff, are you not near any libraries or rental places that have it? How about some service like Netflix? Don't they mail it to you and you mail it back?

Ironically, blue, I just saw it recently. I rather liked it, too! :D

the episode itself is alright, but what really bothers me about it is

Spoiler*

after scorpius comes to the asteroid he is compassionate towards the, i forget her name, bone eating alien and we never hear of her again. I wish there was some closure in that respect, unless i missed something in a later episode. Wasn't she left there as a trap for the PKs?

Um yes, they sort of make a referens in the season finale. It's one line, but I still find it humorus.

I think the ep was ok, they where really good scenes, as some of you already pointed, in addition of those, I really like the scene when Aeryn first boarded Talyn (not Talyn then) and she says "hello" and then little Talyn goes all happy and made little baby ships' noises, I found that scene very sweet!!!

From Family Ties.

SCORPIUS: A pity we can't follow its trail back to the leviathan. Any other vessels in motion out there?

CRAIS: Just our own outbound Marauder with the alien girl you adopted.

SCORPIUS: Have you found my security officer assigned to watch her?

Nice to know that M'Lee is providing herself with adequate sustenance!

I suppose it's too bad that I can't remember there being any further references to M'Lee in the second season (or thereafter). My brain keeps playing with me, insisting there should have been. But then, I love running gags.

Also, I suppose it cleared the field for Francesca to play different roles each season (though I really didn't much like any of them, excepting perhaps Ahkna, who really was quite malevolent and memorably nasty, which means it worked), which I guess would have seemed preferable to her, given that she hadn't won a prized recurring role the way other guests had (like Chiana).
