But not the way you think. I love that Farscape is getting continued, but as it turns out, the network that airs the show in finland (SubTv) is putting the show on "Summer holiday" in about a month. Wich means that it's taking a break about half way trough season 3.

It's my estimate is that it would take about 30 weeks to show it trough after the break. Considering that the show returns about fall-ish, that's impossible. So unless I win the lottery or win all the remaining DVD's I need... i'm pretty much screwed.

Most likely i'll dissappear from the forums when the mini airs, because the risk of spoilers would be too grand. I read spoilers here every week as it is, so it's a fair judgement that i'll read them when the mini arrives.


But that's not untill December... right?

well actually... the mini airs in the US in October/November... so you might have to leave then, already, if you really choose to do so...

Just out of curiousity: which channel shows "Farscape" in Finland?
I'm interested, because we're trying to get the show to Denmark, and knowing which channels airs it in our neighbouring countries, might be of use, somehow (I haven't figured out just how yet, but it might come in handy... ;) )

As Scaperbuddy suggested, you should also get eps from the web. As a fellow-Finn I got bored waiting for SubTv to end season 2 and start season 3 and bought season 3 on dvd. And after that downloaded season 4. But I'll certainly buy the 4th season when it's available as region 4 dvd.

I have a friend that got me eps from 2x15 to 4x01, but now my CD drive is busted, and I can't download them 'cause i have a pissy connection.

And it's kind of immoral for me to do that... I feel dirty about it.

The first 3 seasons are (and have been for some time) available on VHS and DVD and most of season 4 is available too in the USA as only 8 eps have yet to be put onto DVD. All 4 seasons have been available in the UK for many months.

Each DVD set has at least 2 eps and some have 3, and they cost about the same as a home delivered pizza.

The series is well worth having on DVD as there are lots of extras and commentaries. I bought my collection 1 at a time, over a period of many months. Buying the series not only tells Henson that we're vitally interested in Farscape but it shows that there is a growing audience for the show.

If you download it from the internet it does nothing but rob Henson and others of the proceeds of their labors - unless you are renting from an on-line company like Netflix.

If any fan really claims they support Farscape, they should put their money where their mouth is and not be downloading copies off the internet.

I am so psyched about the mini. I can't wait to see promos. Hopefully we will get them by July. They are already promoing for SG Atlantis.

Well, there was that one article about Tammy MacIntosh that was in an Australian paper that mentioned the mini. And there was that website that posts which movies and TV shows are filming there, in which the mini was mentioned.
