I'm afraid that I can't do that, nor would I try. I would rather watch her do it. ;) :D

It's a genetic abnormality... like ear-wiggling, or double joints.

You mean, it's a gift, like ear-wiggling or being double-jointed. Some of us are just superior beings. :ewink:

stellar

It's only a gift if you share. :ewink:

trinamick

:lol In that case, with you I share the knowledge that we tongue rolling, ear-wiggling, double jointed individuals are superior. :D

Claudia Black was once asked about her tongue trick and I believe she said she used to practice doing it in long car rides as a child because she was bored. She said when they were filming WGFA, Ricky Manning wanted this fake Aeryn to do someting Felliniesque and she suggested her tongue trick. After she showed off her unusual talent, she said she became the new best friend of every guy on set.

In one of her interviews, I don't remember now whether it was Farscape Magazine or something else, Claudia said that she was practising this tongue thing driving a car, you have to do something during 3 or 4 hours long drive, right? :D

Could someone remind me what this tongue trick was? Or is it indescribable in words? ;)

I would pop in the DVD containing that episode, but my four-year-old son is monopolising the DVD player at the moment :)

It's too indescribable to try explaining. You'll have to watch it. :D

I can roll my tongue It's not hard, always could, as with the other kids in my family. Though I had to pratcie ear wiggling and raising one eyebrow to figure out what muscles to use.

Also I can pop my ears without opening my mouth.
Release endorphins into my brain to remove headaches, by will.
Stand on one foot perfectly straight and balanced, pull up one leg, and tie my shoe.
Oh and that hole chair thingy. You know the one where you stand infront of a wall with a chair/stoo/box next to it, bend over so your back is parrallel to the floor, and your head pressed against the wall, thin pick up the chair. Generally only femals are supposed to be able to do this because, they are supposed to have a different center of gravity, but I can control mine.

Also I can write very long sentences. And yet, I'm still single.

The scene is near the end of the WGFA episode. Aeryn comes in and blows up the disco ball and tells John she killed Scorpy. Then she tries to get him to tell her why he thought it might not have been Scorpy messing with his mind. He tells her no he isn't going to tell her and then she says "Frell you then," and sticks out her tongue and does this wave, ripple thing with her tongue.

Any toungue talent will make a girl popular, especially the tie-a-knot-in-the-cherry-stem trick.

It's genetically linked. Some people can roll their tongue into a tube, some people can fold their tongue back on itself, some people can twist their tongue upside down, some people can do none of these things, and some people (like yours truly) can do them all.*grin*
