farscape game

I've read a couple of threads of people looking for the game. Well, if you have'nt tried it, you can download the demo at:

There are unofficial game modifications in the works. I know the guy from the Half Life 2 Farscape mod is looking for help - especially people who can help him translate from his native French into English, along with 3D modellers to create charcater models of the cast, the ships, equipment, incidental items etc etc.

Well I'm just finishing my uni course, then I'm going to download the code that our second year are using (we didn't get the chance) which is full 3D DirectX code.

Then I plan on making a little DRD game where you basically explore Moya, to start with. Maybe there could be a few little missions. Basically something quick, easy and fun that can be distributed shareware.

Actually, I've thought of another idea that I could do quickly at the end of uni.

Using the Freespace 2 engine (Freespace 2 was a space game I've become familiar with due to a project - I can hack the thing to pieces, put it together and make it scr34m) I am thinking of doing a story where you take the part of a PK Prowler pilot.

You can begin the game with one or two missions, but then you get thrown into helping secure a Leviathan where the prisoners are mutinying and taking over the ship. Yes, this would be Moya from Premiere.

I've worked out how to do everything - a bit of a battle beforehand, Crichton's arrival and Macton's death, Moya escaping, Aeryn getting sucked along behind...

Maybe you could take the part of the pilot who gets killed in Season Of Death (I forget his name but I have it somewhere) with various missions against various other races, in Prowlers and Marauders, until your death against Talyn.

Does anyone know the game Escape Velocity: Nova (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/)? (awesome game)
Anyway, if someone was skilled enough, they could try writing a Farscape plugin for it.
