View Full Version : From the Royal Hynerian Newsfeed: Second-hand Exposure to Stykerians Deemed Dangerous

The CDC (Center for Dissecting Critters) announced the results of a major study into the effects of second-hand exposure to Stykerian energy. Even the shortest contact can apparently cause premature crossing-over into the next realm. The study was conducted over a period of four years in the Uncharted Territories and included multiple subjects who were exposed to a Stykerian.
Stykerians, a subset of the Banik slave race, possess the ability to kill others just by showing off their bright, shiny faces. In the study, a single Stykerian exposed the entire crew of a Leviathan to his energy, many of whom were in the immediate vicinity when he helped another creature cross-over from this realm into one six metres underground. Each member of that crew subsequently experienced near-death, or in some cases, final-death experiences. Normal death rates on Leviathans are considerably lower.
The CDC warns all Sebaceans not to approach Stykerians without first making final legal and burial arrangements. Peacekeeper High Command has vowed to ban public crossing-over, though the mortuary industry is actively lobbying against such a move. President Braca, who has received large contributions from this industry, is said to be leaning towards a veto.

Hey! That story was totally biased!
Stykeria only... um... "assist" crossing-over... yeah, that's it...
And it should really only be like two meters under! Because a meter is basically a yard.
Um... yeah, completely biased!

Hynerians tend to have food on their minds. So, questions about subjects entirely unrelated naturally gravitate towards matters gestational (urp).
Oops, pardon me.

Just remember, RHN is copyrighted throughout known space. Use it, and we'll turn you into a salad. ;)

You bring up an interesting point. They always say "metres," rather than meters. Are we to assume that they are one and the same? I can't really tell. Maybe Hynerians, whose body odors tend to be a bit strong when they are alive, really need to be six meters or metres down. :scare:

To be fair, some amphibians are known to eat their young.
And who really knows what's going on in those three stomaches, anyway?
