Yippee! Farscape on Daytime Rotation. The details aren't up yet, but not surprising as posted on the weekend. Who new will this reach? Who knows, Some grads? Some college students off for the summer?

It's about time!!!!! :thewave: I guess Sci-fi is doing this because of the upcoming mini. We need new and old people to watch the show and the mini so we can get more Farscape.

Meh... it's only June... there's still plenty of time for them to squeeze things in... but if they don't start showing it more by August then... yeah.

I suppose we should start saving up eyeballs from some source and send them en mass to Scifi offices. :D Sayin' "Scifi won't bring Farscape to daytime TV so the viewer eyeballs can see it, so the eyeballs will come to Scifi.

Heh...I'm all for startin' another Scaper Riot....

I certainly hope this isn't how Sci-Fi plans to advertise for the mini...  :(

they'd bloody better or we might see a reaction, and a scaper reaction is a site to see.

They need to do a daytime rotation more than once in a month but of course there were no daytime rotations in May or April.

One is better than nothing, but yeah, if they want the mini to succeed, they're going to have to do a lot more than that. I hope this isn't SciFi's idea of advertising. I know when the show was still on they did practically nothing to promote it.

Time and time again, they've proven to treat their miniseries far better than most of their television programs... at least, until recently when MMH and ST have become their icons of "Godliness." Of course this is far different - a miniseries from an original series of theirs - so it's difficult to predict quite how they'll treat it. We can only hope that they'll advertise it enough... hope, and advertise it ourselves. :aok:

This line....

01-JUN-04 11:00 AM DAYTIME ROTATION - FARSCAPE

Means a mini-marathon, basically.

Quite the nice change from "wicked dark-thirty" as someone on the newsgroup put it. I'm sure they'll put it on at a more convenient hour near fall. They want to make a buck.

Right. No matter how much Ms. Hammer can try and make it look like she and the others have brought it back out've love and warm thoughts, it's really about money on one level or another, which of course is completely reasonable... but still, goes to show that over, oh, I don't know, from maybe July to September, they'll be showing it more and more. They wouldn't purchase the rights and think that it can succeed with as little publication as it's gotten during air time; that's why they canceled in the first place. They'll bring it up. I'd really love to see it being advertised the week or two before its airing on NBC.

They finally put the details up. Great episodes, pretty good choices?

11:00 AM MELTDOWN
12:00 PM SCRATCH & SNIFF
1:00 PM INFINITE POSSIBILITIES - PT 1: DAEDALUS DEMANDS
2:00 PM INFINITE POSSIBILITIES - PT 2: ICARUS ABIDES
3:00 PM REVENGING ANGEL

Meltdown- fun lead in, soap opera fans meet a space opera
Scratch & Sniff - noon on east coast, lunch hour watchers
Infinite Possibilities - I Hope they stick around after the end of this, after what happens to John?
Revenging Angel - since its 3pm, East kids may see this

What do you think of the choices? Will novices think there were more episodes after Infinite Possibilites? Or does it shoot Farscape in the foot by being in this sequence?

I remember the last rotation was the episodes before this... it had to be these, I guess.
