Hey! I just learned zapgun is having an art opening!

zapgun, that is totally cool! (BTW, yours is definitely one of the names I've missed around here lately...) I had one piece in a gallery, years ago, and was totally psyched, but I can't even imagine how psyched you must be now, having an entire art show. :aok:

Do you work mostly in oils? Acrylic? Watercolors? I do mostly oils and pencil, myself, but the piece that got into a gallery was a wire sculpture, of all things. Of a chicken. :shrug: Go figure.

Keep us posted on how it goes, ay!

OK, wow, thanks for the recognition sbabe! I work in.....well, mixed media really. Not so much the oils, but acrylics, watercolors, torn paper, found objects, that type stuff. I do "modern psychadelic" and occassionally allegorical drawings. My gran is a devoutly Christian woman, so in her honor I'm going to to a painting of Jesus for her. I never thought I would do something like that, but Im a deeply spiritual atheist (a what?) and I think doing a Jesus painting for her would make her so very happy.
