I was searching around and found it at 2 different places. The release date is july 13th, and there is no cover art available now. It looks like we're going to have to wait 3-4 months between 4.5 and the mini. By then the suspense will be almost too much!!!! I am posting links below.

I was curious because Amazon.com is still pre-ordering 4.4 which is due out on May 18th (according to them)

I just received an e-mail today that deep discount dvd shipped my 4.4 yesterday!!!!!! It should arrive by (hopefully) no later than next Tuesday!!
Amazon is notoriously slow on their Farscape dvd's. I gave up on them after I pre-ordered 3.3 from them and 2 weeks after the release date they still hadn't shipped it!!:pissed:

In my experience, I have found that Deep Discount is usually a week or so behind the "first" places in listing the new release for pre-order from them. Since they have the best prices I have found, and I have always had good service, I just keep checking their website till they have it listed.

Sorry, no real news on that yet, but if they stay true to form they will probably release it in or around October. Season 1 box set was October 2002, and season 2 was October 2003. :dunno:

What's a 4.4 ?

4.4 is the 4th DVD of the 4th Season, thus 4.4. In the original release of Season 1, there were 11 individual DVDs with two episodes per DVD. Seasons 2-4 have seen 5 two disc "box sets, each set have either 4 or 5 episodes, depending on a whether the set encompasses a 2 or 3 part story. For example there are 5 episodes on 2.3 so as to include all the "Look at the Princess" episodes on one disc.

I am not preordering it... I have yet to get 4.3 and 4.4 has been sent... I think it is tinked that I'll be geting 4.4 first and may never get 4.3, if it doesn't come I'll have to buy it twice and that is frelled.

I won't be pre-ordering it either. I still have to get volumes 4.2 and 4.3. However, I do plan on getting volumes 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4 before the end of the summer though. :D

Thanks for the advice in this thread! I had 4.4 pre-ordered from Amazon, but decided yesterday to cancel that pre-order and order from deepdiscountdvd instead since they were already shipping. And yay -- they just sent me a shipment notification, so it's on the way!

(yeah, I already have the R2 version, but I need R1 as well ;))
