SPOILER WARNING: NOT HERE BEFORE BECAUSE I'M AN IDIOT
So as I was meditating, today, I -
No, seriously, I had a pretty valid question. Are there any hints as to what this new "alien race" that's "sided with the PKs" or whatever is like? Did I miss some vital information behind it, or whatever? I think it's fascinating... I'm sort've thinking of the Kalish being the reference though..?

I think the quote was "new alien race who work of the peacekeepers", that would sort of imply a race we haven't seen before, methinks.

Okay, I missed something. This new race is a spoiler right?

It's lifted from the Brian Henson chat on SciFi. He say's there is a new alien race working with the PK's. That could mean either:
1) A brand new race, never before seen
2) A alien species that has not previously worked with PK's now is
I believe he meant #1

Could be that race that crystalized John and Aeryn in Bad Timing that's working with the PK.

SPOILER SPACE DESPITE THE OBVIOUS FACT THAT AT THIS POINT THIS ENTIRE THREAD SHOULDN'T BE VIEWED UPON BY THE SPOILER-FREE PEOPLE:
That would be pretty cool. I keep seeing them as benevolent strangely, though.

I didn't even know about this extra-alien-race thing.
Hmm... who could it be...
* Interons. This I feel is the best bet, especially seeing as though the Priests on Arnessk have come back.
* Luxans. The Luxans still don't know Grayza was willing to sell them out, do they...
* Kalish. Doubtful. I don't think they could just up and leave the Scarrens that easily.
* Nebari. For the greater good, and then back-stabbing later?
* People who pebble-dashed John and Aeryn. Hmm... Scorpy did say he had something in the works. Bit of a long shot though, but he'd know where John and Aeryn would be going so maybe he notified "those people" beforehand, so they could go and grab John for him? And maybe Noranti knows how to re-combine them?
Can't think of any other species who'd ally themselves with the PK off the top of my head.

Oooohhh! I hadn't thought of that possibility. Don't really think it'll happen that way, but it'd sure be cool if it did!
BTW, this little tidbit about the new alien race wasn't from Brian's chat, it was from his interview with SFX magazine, I believe. :)

Nah...we'll see the fractured people reconstitute John and Aeryn...it's their technology...

ETC.....
That was my thought imediately. Makes sense according to the way they do things, too. Introduce a new character, plot thread, whatever...then let it sit with us and ferment for a while before being brought back. And those new aliens (I have a very naughty name for them which I won't put here) made a noteworthy entrance. They're definitely in a defensive mode - could it be because of all the trouble between the PK's and the Scarrans? So after they reconstitue John and Aeryn, which Brian Henson seemed to indicate happens pretty quickly in the mini, they then get involved in the whole mess. Just an idea...

I sort've agree, too. I think they're totally defensive, and it makes sense considering after the Katratzi incident, the High Command and Hierarchy would both be gripping each other's throats fairly soon thereafter.

I hope not. I mean... I just... eh, I wouldn't dig it. I don't see them siding like that with us lower-level idiots.

What if it's a new version of the ancients? or an enemy of the ancients? They are all fairly conserned about Chritons knowledge.
