So I've had company all weekend long. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, there's really not a whole lot to do for recreation (not Farscape recreation!). :P So the friend who was staying with me was asking what we could do for fun. It was about 10:30 Friday night, at which point the movie theaters are closed, as are all the stores, and neither of us are really the bar-hopping types. I suggested that perhaps we could just watch a movie at my house.
As she was looking through my selections, I just happened to mention that I had Farscape on tape as well. She replies, "Oh yeah, I've seen that a couple of times, but I've never watched a whole show. I just flip back and forth at commercials." Once I got over my chest pains, I informed her that it might be easier to understand the shows she had seen if she had a little background. She agreed, and we popped in the Farscape. At 2:00 a.m., I finally said I needed some sleep.
Saturday night we got home late from a grad party, and once again everything was closed. I asked if she wanted to watch TV, or find a movie to watch. Her response? "Well, maybe we could watch some more Farscape." No problem here! At 2:00 a.m., I once again asked to be excused for my beauty sleep. She continued watching until 4:30 a.m.
Yesterday afternoon was rainy and cold, so our outdoor plans were put on hold. I suggested that perhaps we could play games or something. Her answer was, "Well, are you sick of watching Farscape?" Like that would ever happen! So several hours later, we finally got off the couches and went to do something else.
All told? A grand total of approximately 14 hours of Farscape were viewed over the last three evenings. She is now using frell in nearly every sentence! :bounce:
Scapin's so much fun, it should be illegal...
