Human Reaction query [spoilers for 1.16]

So some recent discussion on the SPACE boards about A Human Reaction brought up a couple of questions:

1. Was Aeryn the "real" areyn?
2. So, did they :lech: ?

I'm all over both being "yes," but I'm interested in the views of those who think not, and why!

Yes and yes. Wouldn't seem to be in question, considering that it's addressed during the episode itself (after finding out that he's in a realm created from his memory and not on Earth, John asks fake Dad if his friends are real) and then comes up again in Mind the Baby ("just the once").

That's what I've been trying to argue, but it's tough cause the other party is watching for the first time around and doesn't have the MTB line to draw back upon...

Ah, gotcha. Well, just tell 'em they'll get more confirmation later. Though I believed it just based upon Daddy imposter's explanation. Why would he lie? And I remembered yet another time it comes up, even further down the road -- in The Choice, when Aeryn remembers it (which is all I'll say about that since this is a Season 1 thread after all ;)).

Yeah, that was from Mind the Baby. And if she - the REAL Aeryn (and that's assuming there was another) - remembers it, it must have happened. And it would have happened in The Flax if D'Argo hadn't walked in on them when he did.

Just watched Family Ties last night. Aeryn asks Chriton if his dad is at all like the version she met. They just keep going back. :)

I remember, before the American DVDs, before we saw the "morning after" scene here, Rockne asked (at the first Burbank con) "How many of you think that John and Aeryn have had sex?" and there was a pretty rousing chorus of woowoos and various other hoots. ;) I was right there with 'em for that! All Rock would say was, "Hm. Interesting."

And as soon as it was available, I bought the script for AHR, just to prove it to myself. ;)

And they totally would have done it earlier... in The Flax... if D hadn't interrupted. :lech: They were completely primed for it! Guess they just had to have some life-or-death situation to "blame" it on, in case they ended up hating each other.

Just going through a marathon viewing session -- I was convinced that it was all in his mind, but then when I saw Mind the Baby I completely turned around.

Selena i watched it last night and yes he did say "Aeryn about last night.."

The Q on my mind is how "Jack" knew what Aeryn was saying, because after she speaks in her alien language he says "Thank you Aeryn Sun" that would of had alarm bells ringing in her head, like how did he know her name, and understand what hse was saying unless he wasn't human?
I know it was because he had seen Crichton's memories, but from Aeryns perspective...

yes because in front of dargo in mind the baby aeryn misunderstands when john asks 'how many times have we been close' much to john's embarassment in front of dargo
