Make sure you have it saved into your computer or to a site like PhotoBucket.

Choose the Post reply option instead of Quick Reply and then you look below the window for Additional Options. There you will see Manage Attachments. Click there and browse til you find where you stored your picture and upload. Just like for an avatar. Choose Submit reply and your pic should be there. If you have a problem with size then PM me and I can help you to adjust it. If you choose PhotoBucket or what not, the add your image to the main reply area using the [img] tags. Hope this helps. :D

You know, I really think it depends on what type of foreigner you are used to listening to. I can understand Mexicans speaking english pretty well because I'm used to it, whereas my cousin from Minnesota has a heck of a time with it.

I myself have trouble with cockney accents and a scottish brogue. And they're supposed to be english :lol

That makes me think of another question - is there a particular accent in english that is more difficult to understand if it is your second language?

Maybe english is harder? i guess its harder cause you dont have signs to identificate strong sillabes, neutral, open or closed vowels (a, à, e, ê, é, i, í, ï, o, ò, ó, u, ú, ü) so you learn to pronunciate a word hearing the others. Anyway I never took special classes for english, just at school, what's was pathetic, they are starting now to teach it well

my native tongues are Catalan and Spanish (we speak both since we learn to speak), but when i speak English people say that catalans have a very different english accent than people that only speak spanish... they say it's sounds like Polish accent, actually decades ago (even now some places)people called the Catalans "Polish" in a despective way... don't know why...i like Polish people ;)

I haven't encountered an accent yet that was really difficult to understand. But I do find the easiest to comprehend to be from Scandinavia, most notably Sweden. They can speak English with a very clear accent.

I have worked with South African’s, Gurkha’s, Filipino’s, Iraqi’s, Sir Lankan’s (Sp?), Australian’s, Indian’s, and a few other nationalities over here. Some have very thick accents (South African’s) and some of them speak very good and clear English. I can not complain since the majority of them speak at least 2-3 different languages compared to me. It is frustrating at times trying to communicate with all the different people, but you do learn patience and find a way to communicate with one another. A very enriching experience.

And then:Those who speak finnish understand each other very well no matter witch accent they use.But swdish is more difficult.As it is my home language, I can tell you.I can't go to Sweden and speak my swedish thereIt's almost as far as english from my swedish.But I understand them.And the swedish I use when I speak with my pets, that's farfetched
In Sweden there's a accent called skånskan.Not even all who lives in Sweden understands it

I think that in Norway there's a show that has a Finnish character, and the only thing he says in finnish is "Perkele"

Now, if you wanna learn finnish, learn that word. Perkele. Don't make that 'phhh' sound when you start it. Begin with a hard P (hehe, hard pee) move on to the E, and the most important part of the word is the R. You have to make it a really hard R, but not too hard so you don't sound like a boxing announcer. Also, the K has to be a 'K' not a 'khh'.

If you get that word right, you'll learn finnish in no time.

It's a cussword... no translation. But it sure scares foreigners at the airport when said correctly.
