Hey Scapers! I am new to all of this. I just signed up and am ready to chat Farscape! I have seen the entire series and can't wait to share my thoughts with all of you. I was really excited to see all of the new pictures. They are simply amazing!

Sikozu's new look is FRELLING AWESOME!!! She really fits in with Scorpy now and I am loving the hair! Now that I've seen most of the cast, where is D'Argo, Pilot, Jool, and Grayza? I can't wait to see what they look like.

Is it just me or is everyone looking as they did in season 2? Rygel looks lik his old self, Aeryn looks as she did in the previous seasons, as does Stark. That one picture of Aeryn, Stark, and Crichton looks like it could have been from season two! I am liking the lighter tone, because I got tired of the constant darkness that the series had for awhile. Looks like Farscape is finally getting away from that depressed season three feel. (Season Three is my fav, though)! Noranti looks the same, but different in a way! I can't put my finger on it.

The nurse from Prayer is in the background of one of the pictures, and I know that a few people have pointed that out earlier.

I know this sounds stupid, but as I went throught the pictures I was searching for my favorite character, Zhaan! I have a feeling that she won't be involved in the mini, but I am sure that Stark will mention her. I really wish that she can be included, because everything would feel complete with her presence. Maybe it's just me. I just don't think that Noranti lives up to Zhaan. I do hope to see alot of Jool in the mini! When I heard that she was involved, I was very happy!

***There I hope your frelling headace went away Kathryn... :irked:

First of all, Welcome Chiana!
I agree with alot of things that you pointed out. It sounds silly, but I get a season two 'feel' seeing those pictures. I also miss Zhaan, but I don't think that a four hour mini has time to explain a possible Zhaan return, it wouldn't do her justice. But the writers continue to amaze me, so we'll see!
Sikozu looks cool!

Welcome ChianaForever! :)

About the missing people in the pictures: According to Farscapeworld, there will be more pictures coming up, so they will probably be in those...
About Zhaan: Well, I agree with SCAPERFOREVER1904, that the chances of her being in the mini are very slim, and even if she is in it, it will be something that will only come out at the very last moment. The same goes for the possible return of Crais and/or Talyn...

Yeah! The bulkhead-looking things they fight behind, the Stark being there, the look to John with that vest (even though he wears it later, it always makes me think season two), the way Aeryn looks, everything... I get a Season 2 feel too!

There really can't be a picture of the nurse from Prayer--she died in WSS-Fetal Attraction. I recall one picture on Moya with Chiana and Stark where there's someone in the background. If you look closely, it's one of those critters with the dividing heads. Is that the one you're thinking of?

Didn't Jenek die in WSS: La Bomba, though? Is he actually back now?

True enough... but... bomb... in hands... uh-oh... boom... just strange, and is that Ahkna's now-deceased lover too!? Did the Scarrans master the true factor behind wormholes, that it isn't physics so much as an art!? Did they traverse back in time? Wow, if they did they could be boiling Unrealized Realities all over the place. It'd nicely show how stupid and unwise they are.

That would explain why they're alive.....hmm.

Another prominent theory would be -- genetically enhanced... you guessed it... biloids all over the place, of Jenek and others, running rampant... that or the time traversing, either would fit into the story quite well.

sikozu biloid of a biloid can that work?

Biloid of a biloid... that would be scary... well maybe, who knows. How deeply into Biloid physics have we gone? Not far enough to fully explain why that wouldn't work, I guess.

Staleek would ensure there's only one of him, no matter what, so that he's the only Emperor. Just like Peacekeepers embroiled with everything over the past four years, in the Uncharted Territories, having to watch out for the High Command higher-ups back home, I think Staleek faces the same problem from the Hierarchy -- the Scarran "unseen true governmental force" -- so he'd want to keep only one and establish as much rule as possible.

Multiple commanders though, doubled within the blink of an eye... helpful. But if I were Staleek I wouldn't make several Jeneks. The dudes would start an army of Jeneks and crush 'im.

That's not the nurse. If you look closely at her face, you'll see the split lines, which tells me she's of the Quajan (Rubic's Cube face) race from 4:22 Bad Timing.

I know I'm not the only one that disagrees with this.

I just don't think that Noranti lives up to Zhaan.
She was never meant to.

What if Ahkna made her own bioloid Staleek to rule the empire by remote control while she killed the real one. She seems pretty peeved at him toward the end of season 4 with him ordering her lover to his death and for what she sees as his unjust theaft of her father's position previously. Oh yeah, I'd say if he's going to get any trouble it'll be from her.

There's also the other option of Staaleek making about 100 copies of himself to drive the PK assassins and intelligence corps up the wall but I don't think he's that smart.

No you're not. Season 4 was hardly constant darkness. The end part of season 3 is also regarded by many as having been the best part of the entire series.

Season 3 was my favorite. But then I didn't see the darkness as depressing. I saw drama, intensity, dark humor, and bigger threats, but definitely not depressing darkness. If anything it only made every triumph shine that much more. But that's just me.

Zhaan could come back in a small role. She could come back as a spirit. Remember in "The Choice" Stark kept hearing Zhaan's voice. Zhaan delved in things we didn't always understand.

I highly doubt it, but what if she was simply masquerading somehow as a Sebacean before. Although I do highly doubt this -- why the frell would you pretend to be a Sebacean around Scarrans...

True, Ahkna could be facilitating mass Staleek production of some sort. And mass Jenek production, and, from the looks of it, she brings her lover back? It would be a fascinating plause, to think that the one behind the entire Scarran side of the war would be someone that utterly twisted. Biloids and Scarrans mix... why not have them mix in the truest sense of the word.

Everything you said. Season 3 was my favorite for the same exact reasons. It was high drama at its very best. Season 4 is my second-favorite for the same technical reasons... but to see a few snapshots that look a lot like Season 2 is still very cool to me, because personally it implies a fusion of sorts to me - a look and a feel of Season 2, meshed together with the powerful story arcs and amazing CGI of Season 3 and 4!? Heaven, for sure.

Zhaan could come back in a small role. She could come back as a spirit. Remember in "The Choice" Stark kept hearing Zhaan's voice. Zhaan delved in things we didn't always understand.

The same could also apply to Kent McCord for what it's worth, while we're on that subject... if he doesn't come back as Jack Crichton, and since the Ancient Jack Crichton is dead, that could easily be how he makes his return, much like how Zhaan would. But then at the rate at which people seem to be not-so-difficult to presume even the Ancient Jack could be making his return in some way. Or maybe... well, alas, there are so many maybes.

Season 3 was my favorite as well, but the sets became so dark that Crichton often looked like a walking face and arms. In DWTB, in that scene with Crichton and Granny in the kitchen, I had a hard time seeing anything at all. It was really, really dark.

So I'm pleased as punch to see that even the indoor shots are as light as they were in Season 2. :)

I agree that it was, literally, "too dark" at times, in the actual lighting definition, for sure. It gave a nice feel most of the time but on occasion, it was really rather silly, IMHO.
