Hey yall, I've got a very important painting I'm working on, and I need something very unusual, and I'm thinking only Christians can help me with this. I need some really nice, beautiful, uplifting, kind, happy, friendly (get the point?) New Testament (Jesus) verses. A co-worker recently gave me a King James version bible, so if any of you kind Christian folks on the board could give me some nice verses, I would be much obliged! Please, either post them here, either entire verse or where I can find it in the Book.....or PM me with your personal favorite list. Thank you so much!

I've always thought this one was lovely...

All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."- MATTHEW 21:22

especially for encouragement. If you're looking for other inspirational quotes, particularly "love-based" ones, any of the books by the apostle John are a good bet. He often preached on love.

This is a good passage as well, for encouragement. Matthew 7;7-11

And these are rather nice.

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Philippians 4:1 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

But then, I'm rather fond of the whole thing...

This page has some more inspiring/loving quotes, if you want a starting point.

In know this is the Old Testament... but... Proverbs 22:6 "Raise a child in the way that he should grow; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
