Just starting to notice things

I'm pretty new to the Farscape experience and just recieved season 3 last week. Since I recieved the season 1 box set a month ago I have been buying and watching the DVD's like a lunatic. Now is it just me or is Claudia Black passively the most sexy woman I have ever seen. I find myself watching more intently every time she is on screen. Especially in the episode Suns and Lovers when she tries to convince Ben Browder to have sex. I was like "woah!". Never saw that coming. Man I love this show! I have a question about the show though that should probably go into another thread but here it goes anyway. Since Farscape has been on such a long hiatus and the episodes appear only when owls are out to feed, will the SciFi channel be rerunning any of the episodes during normal HUMAN sleep hours to get people into watching the mini. Is a marathon perhaps planned?

We are in the same boat.

I was only able to watch Farscape sporadically when it was on the air.
I have been watching it now with the help of Netflix.
Almost finished with the 3rd season.
Will be buying the box sets soon.

Really enjoying the show, have never felt this emotionally attached to any other show.
Gonna really be feeling it when season 4 runs out.

If my GF knew about Claudia she would not let me watch anymore! :-)
Trying to get her into the show but not having much luck.

Don't have SCI FI or half of the other channels I should have. Been going round and round about it with my cable company. Hope I get it resolved in time for the Mini!!!

Its strange how a tv show can have an impact like that with a viewer. I have only been interested in a couple of random shows but none have gripped me like this.

I made a decent wallpaper of Claudia from one of her picture for my Nextel. Came up pretty cool. Just has the word Nextel and the time on her face. Gotta fix that.

Aeryn is such a sexy lady and it's so great to see a sexy woman who's all natural beauty and not make up :) Pity she didn't get round to brushing her helmet hair until about half way through season 1 :D Crichton didn't seem to mind though :p

I do think Claudia is incredibly beautiful naturally. Her being Austrailian just helps so much! The most beautiful woman I ever saw in real life was this blonde I met in London. She was struggeling with a huge heavy bag, and I helped her carry the bag to the mailing office. God do I love that accent! I bet she never dreamed of running into a Southern Gentleman in the middle of London!

Anyways, the only woman I think that is more naturally beautiful than Claudia, is the goddess in my avatar, Angelina Jolie.

Perhaps a remake of Bound starring them should be made...

I didn't notice her any thinner. She was always a "weakling" in real life (look at that flab under her arms when she throws punches in season one. :) I think you may have been reacting to the wig she wore in all of season four. It made her hair seem bigger, which probably gave the impression that her body was smaller.

I believe they dropped the wig in the mini, and it's back to her real hair, which is why she looks better in the mini trailers and pics to me as well.

She was wearing a wig? :eek: Did she have to cut off her hair for a role or something? Her hair did look strange alright when she had it tied back in a pony tail for John Quixote, not at all like her ponytail do in Season 3. I thought she looked a lot thinner in Season 4, not so much muscle loss, it seemed like she lost an excessive amount of fat.

From what I've been told, her hair was being "worn out" by all the work they'd do with it for each shot, so after three seasons of that, they decided to just put a wig on her. You can definitely notice once you're aware it's a wig. And before you're aware, you know something's different about her head/hair, but you just can't place it. :)

Personally, based on some comparison shots of her from season four (in say the Cher outfit) and season one (say BABABTTF), she seems to have turned a good portion of body fat (what little she had) into muscle tone. She was also not filming Farscape at the start of the last season (her shots on the beach in CK were filed during her shots for Promises, the 5th episode). So for the first four episodes, she was not on-set. I'm not sure what she was doing, as I didn't see any new film with her come out. Does anyone know? Stage work? Extended vacation? :)

Claudia is sooo gorgeous!! and her cute accent doesn't hurt things either. Need I remind you i am in the US in Florida and the girls here talk with a southern accent or no accent at all. So I love the accents
