I am a fan of the sci-fi genre...but never had the interest to follow any particular tv-series....untill i saw a farscape trailer before it was shown here in my region.....and i actually made an effort to catch the 1st screening and since then...I never failed to miss any. Farscape just caught me out of nowhere...it is that powerful.

I've always had tv shows that I've followed, but nothing like Farscape! It's just so DIFFERENT. It's drama, adventure, scifi, romance, action, and more all wrapped up all in one.
I don't think I can actually articulate how GOOD Farscape is.
Thank you for all your hard work on Farscape, it is greatly appreciated!

The cast of Farscape is one of the finest ensembles I've ever seen. The writing and special effects are outstanding. No show even comes close to touching Farscape. Not a single one.
To Ben, Claudia, Gigi, Anthony, David, Lani, Wayne, Ricky, Brian and Rockne, and all the other wonderful people who made Farscape what it is, THANK YOU. You've given viewers a QUALITY show.
One year of fighting for Farscape down, another one coming up. I'm loaded for bear and ready to kick a@# and take names. Hear that, Skiffy? We're not giving up!

I first saw an advertisement somewhere for Farscape. For some reason the add alone seemed full of promise.
So, on that first night of the premier episode I sat glued to the tv.
Boy was I surprised. From the moment John found himself in the another part of the galaxy I knew show would be a hit.
The funniest moment I first remember was Rygel's little gas problem.
From the first EP until Bad Timing the cast and crew have set all new standards for television.
When I heard the Scifi channel was not picking up a fifth season I was dumfounded.
One year later I am still certain that Farscape will return. I know there is a great deal of work the cast and crew would have to do, but I want them to know how much I appreciate all the effort they put into this tremendously, funny, sad, sponatanous show.
What a frelling ride !!!!!!!!!!!! Why did Scifi have to take the wildest ride and stop it right in the middle!!!

To the Cast and Crew of FarScape:
I don't know EVERYbody's name, I am sorry. I wish I did. Then I could tell each and every one of you; I applaud, wholeheartedly. I stamp my feet and whistle and shout. I acknowledge you for your work with FarScape.
FarScape is an extraordinary television show. In my experience, the quality of the production overall, the writing, the characterisations, the acting, the costuming, the makeup, the puppeteering, the sets, is unparalleled. Simply superb.
I find FarScape as satisfying and soul-enriching as seeing Stewart acting Shakespeare, re-reading Austen, hearing Perlman play the Trout Quintet, or looking at Monet's haystacks once more. You have created television as art.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your efforts. Rest assured, I shall not cease in my efforts to have FarScape return, to delight and mystify us all ongoingly.
Thank you.

no, we're all not sitting around wearing pointed ears. In fact, the demographics of your fans tell us all that you must have an incredibly savvy show, and it is. The characters are more in-depth than most shows propped up for the public, and somehow you have managed humor and drama and creating new species all in one show and compelling us to watch one hour at a time. Even when the seasons changed in their direction (and you know how fans just love change . . . ), there were always reasons to continue watching such a great show.
Hope to see you back soon. Thanks for the hard work. (say hi to pilot for us . . . )

It's been a while since anyone has posted in here... certainly not since the lovely news.
So, I thought I'd take this chance to tell the lovely cast and crew of Farscape, again, how much I love what they've made. And I hope that as many of them as possible will be able to be involved in the mini-series.
Cheers!

I'd say something profound and meaningful, but really, since I heard the news, I've just been walking around wiggling my rear a little more, at the odd moment pumping my fist in the air and yelling, "Yeah!"
When I heard about the mini going into production, I called more people than I did when I had my son.
(okay, that was sad, lol)
Congrats to the cast and crew and most especially to all of us dedicated fans who refused to give up.

To everyone who made Farscape the finest piece of work ever televised,
What can I say to truly let you know how special this show was for me? Each episode was so rich and full, I'm not sure where to begin. I can't think of another television show which was always able to incorporate action, humor, drama, suspense, tragedy, romance, surprise and harmony into each and every episode. This is, surely, the result of a finely tuned team. What other show could have incorporated animation into the live action and done it so perfectly? (one of my favorite episodes, by the way)
I loved my good guys a little bad and my bad guys a little good. The tough chicks were a little soft inside and the soft chicks a little steely. The universe was unpredictable in a universally predictable sort of way.
Can't wait for the mini! Hope John and Aeryn have a girl!
With a shred of hope now, I can wait for the wheel.

As a newer fan to this great show i'd just like to say thanks to the cast and crew and everyone who campaigned for the show so hard and still is doing so. I absouletly love this show and everyone involved with it.
I know the mini-series on the horizon will be just as great and spectacular as any Farscape episode before it.
When life is at its worst Farscape can always brighten my day and make things better.
Farscape Forever!

To All of You Wonderful, Wonderful Frellnicks:
We love what you've done. I love what you've done. And I want you to know something.
I have always been fascinated with writing. Lingering in my mind for two years, since I was fourteen, was the thought of writing a book series, that, perhaps, one day, I could turn into a television show. Like Farscape it's set in space, a science fiction, no doubt. I've been told I'm a good writer, that my words have meaning and solidity. But I haven't ever tried something like this before. And it's going to be huge. I mean, HUGE. I mean, huge enough that if it has four seasons it won't be enough to tell the tale, no matter what. Hm... that sounds familiar. At any rate, I only recently got into Farscape, actually, about three days before I found this site, four episodes till the end, at We're So Screwed Pt. I. But what I found there etched so much space-opera, fantasy creativity into my mind that I am now in the process of collecting my thoughts to finally begin work, and the concepts flowing in my head could one day almost rival the beauty that is Farscape. The name of the series I wish to create is still undetermined, but another, fantasy series I have lingering in my mind is called 'Lenalia'. Believe me, you've helped me get my thoughts straight for that one, as well. There's no way I could get these things together in my mind without a thick slam in the head, which your amazing series has given me, with its brilliant story, fascinating characters, intriguing dialogue, and infinite appeal. I love Farscape, and I love every last person who has ever done a thing to help Farscape. I can't wait to see the miniseries. I hope there's more to come. You all have done something so touching, so heartfelt, in creating what you have created. My only hope is that one day I can do the same.

To the people who makes Farscape possible:
My name's Laia. I'm a 23 years girl from Barcelona, in Spain. :olympic:
Farscaper from the very beginning of the show emitted in my mothertongue, catalan (to give you an idea, sometimes it sounds like French). :o
How can I describe Farscape? Simply incredible, absolutely amazing ...
since I heard the rumours of cancellation, I damned SciFi Channel for cancelling such a wonderful show! Sorry, it is true.
I considered it as a terrible offense to you. You deserved more time, more seasons to develop all your ideas. GOD DAMN! You had material just to make 9 or 10 seasons!!!!!!! But, in this world, what rules is not imagination and originality. Money rules.
That's not fair.
Farscape is unique and what is unique is valuable (taken from "Liars, Guns & Money"). All of you are unique, I mean, EVERY person who have collaborated in the project Farscape 1.
To all of you:
Thanks for making such original and changing scripts.
Thanks for creating evolutive characters and unexpected situations.
Thanks for intriguing us and to introduce us in the UT.
Thanks for creating Pilot and Moya and all the puppets.
Thanks for your efforts on playing your roles in the way you do (an amazing way, I have to say).
Thanks for interesting us in the way that we can't go on without you and your adventures.
In the name of the catalan and, of course, spanish Farscapers (we are more than you imagine):
THANKS FOR SHARING THE WONDERS YOU'VE SEEN.
:hugz: to all of you

Hi all, just a few words to say that in France also Farscape has lot of Fans. I'm myself writing reviews on this wonderfull tv show, complete analysis of characters, episodes... just to make Farscape live again.
This serie was one of the most "human", that's strange for a sci-fi one. The characters seem to really love each others, actors was marvelous, much better than pupets playing in Andromeda or series like that.
Thanks all the crew for making this possible, I hope to see you on screen soon, we all hope. And bring back my Aeryn :)
Ps : Sorry for my english everyone :)

I for one, am about to go nuts. I watched Farscape, beginning to end, every episode. I'm on my second round through and am just absolutely being driven insane. All I want is a few more years of Farscape. Something to tide me over. A mini-series would be NICE. BUT! Who knows what they could POSSIBLY do with an ENTIRE SEASON or four. I'm not sure, but I can feel safe in assuming that everyone else here agrees with me? Am I wrong?

Just wanted to add my thanks to the cast and crew for an exceptional TV series.
The problem with a lot of sci-fi is that it can't keep pace with the imagination of its fans. Farscape lapped us time after time. It was a joy to watch.
Kudos to everyone involved and one extra to Claudia Black, who rocks.
So, being old enough to remember the original Star Trek on TV, I have had a soft spot in my heart for sci-fi since I can remember. Buck Rogers, Battle Star, Star wars...they all told a good story for thier day. I still love watching sci-fi shows, movies, and reading books. But one day something changed. This show called "Farscape" aired, and hooked me. Like reading William Gibsons "Neuromancer" for the first time, This magical story is unfolding before me. The actors are beyond excellent...I feel them on the screen, as if I was there. The writing...not yet matched. To all of the off screen folks it took to make this show...my deepest thanks.
What I wish for all of you is happiness in what you want to do, for the short time you've entertained me with your talents. Good luck in your futures, and here's to hoping you'll be able to enchant us once again in the Farscape realm!

I became ill several years ago and all that really kept me motivated during my healing process was Farscape. I would watch it at every chance... I tried to never miss an episode, but sadly I did but not because I didnt try... when I heard that Farscape was being cancelled I was devistated.
The one outlet I had was going away... but thanks to the wonderful folk here at savefarscape and watchfarscape I live with the hope that I will get to see how the story is told.
To you, the crew, down to the smallest bug that could possibly crawl on the limb of such great actors, actresses and worker I say thanks!
You all have made this old girl happy at her sadest moments, moved me to cry and continue to make me smile.
May God bless you in what ever you chose to do!
Rock on!!!
Tina
I can relate to KenX I to have seen all the Sci-Fi shows come over the years but Farscape was definately different. It really took us to new worlds and new adventures with the crew of Moya. You felt like you could really go out and "look up and see". From one very big Aussie fan to cast and crew thankyou for the memories and I hope for all our sakes we will being seeing lots more. Farscape was not just a show they felt like family and will be missed by all if we don't get them back.
Hopefully not the end.

I, for one, am thoroughly grateful to be alive at this time and place. I wouldn't be able to come here, and beg and plead to sci-fi, and to advertise, and so on to ANYONE, had I not been here. I also would be able to partake in the privelege of living in the time of the most amazing, shocking, stunning, fascinating, funny, intelligent, best written television shows to ever exist. I just wish I could watch a new episode every week for the rest of my life. I am very thankful for being given what we have all been given, and that is, the privelege to watch this show as it unfold the most interesting, best told and acted stories of all time. Thank you Farscape Cast and Crew. You have made all of our lives, especially mine, worth having.

Never before has show aroused so much passion and fan dedication. Scappers and shippers are truly unique among fandom. I don't know of any fan based organization that has gone to lengths that we have :hugz:
And to Jim Henson for listening.
Also, Space the Immagination Station for showing everyone just how much we want our Series back on the airwaves.
Most important; I've met a lot of wonderful people in cyber and in person who have something in common Farscape.

Written last year right after Claudia's spellbinding Burbank Con performance.
To Claudia
We thought that we could not have loved you more,
Then this past week-end you shocked us to the core.
You took a step that was so brave and bold,
By sharing with us from your very soul.
We watched you sit upon that stage alone,
Like a regal queen upon her royal throne.
You took so long to find the perfect key,
Your hands shook so... we all could see.
We can only imagine now how you must have felt,
But your courage made all of our hearts just melt.
Not a single one could fail to agree,
You're an artist of the highest quality.
Then that voice of gold into the stillness swam,
It made our spirits soar and broke the dam,
Some of us had tear drops in our eyes,
Our emotions soared right up to the skies.
As you sang for us, your voice it was surreal,
Have you any idea how you made us feel?
You held us in your palm, spellbound,
Rarely does one hear so sweet a sound.
Thank you Claudia, for being so astounding,
All of us found our heart was pounding.
Have you wondered why to you, love we impart?
How can we not, when you trust us with your heart.

It's a bit too early for con books just yet. :D I'd guess people will start volunteering and asking for submissions from September at the earliest.I know Ben's is being done this year by Elnea(who has done Ben's book since con books started-last year I took over because Elnea was unwell.)
Sunkrux (who's a mod on Farscapeworld.com ) Did Claudia's and Raelee's and a few others last year so you might want to give her a bell and see if she's up for doing them. If not then someone else will have to volunteer. :)

this is not over. not by a long shot.
Those words are from the start of this topic, some two plus years ago. No, it wasn't. No, it had hardly begun. In fact it hadn't begun, really. The beginning could be seen as the fanbase growing for the four years, but it was then, with those words and the events surrounding them, that this colossal monster of an effort began.
And here we are, now, so far and removed from those angsty moments. Those small diamonds of hope we pulled together amidst the mountains of hopelessness... here we are, now, together and successful.
I read the first post by waltersgirl in this topic just now and I actually started crying. It's amazing what you have done, what we have done.
