Anth shared in a chat that you all are trying to do something for 422 but the sets are being dismantled around your ears.

it doesn't matter to us where you film. it doesn't matter to us if you film in Ben's backyard, or you build sets from sticks and playdough, or the crew of Moya finds themselves on the Planet Of Office Space in ep 422. we'll watch it. use a shoulder cam. use a digital cam. hell, use a polaroid camera. we won't care. you tell the story the way you want to tell it and we'll watch. you can draw the story with crayola crayons and construction paper and post it on a website and we'll be happy.

you were betrayed. stabbed in the back. denied your rights as artists to weave your story, and we won't let that happen without a fight.

we love you. we support you. we will defend you. we *will* fight for you. it is the absolute least we can do in return for the immense gift you have given us over the last four years.

this is not over. not by a long shot.

Mogley, tell me you're from TWoP. :lol :lol

I have to agree with WG and Mogley's 'word'.

Whatever you guys need to do, we'll support you. In every step of this, we'll support you. Whatever you need, whenever, however, if we can do anything you have only to say the word. It is the very least we can do for the magnificent story you've shared with us over the past four years. You have to know that we won't give up. We will do everything in our power, however great or small that may be, to make sure that the story of Farscape gets the opportunity to continue to its natural end.

Thank you all for this fabulous tale and these amazing characters.

I'd just like to say a humungous THANK YOU to all the cast and crew (and the peripheral companies, like Animal Logic who do the special FX) having made such a great show in the first place.

Thank you for not taking the paths already laid out by Star Trek; thank you for chosing the unexpected story lines and for the constant surprises in the grand arc.

Thank you for everything - I wish you all well and hope (beyond hope, I fear) that Farscape will be saved!

We appreciate and love everything you guys have done for us, as a community. We know that you were blindsided, and we love you for coming to us first. We will stand beside you and cry out for more. If this injustice is carried out, we will still stand beside you and as one turn away from those who wronged you. As the campaign says, Crackers DO Matter. And us Crackers will stick with you.

Red: TwoP back in the day when it was MBTV. I and various others escaped for a multitude reasons well before TwoP, though. Kept some of their cooler inventions, however. :)

How about Farscape: the flip book? That would be fun and a completely new creative outlet the production team hasn't tried yet. </slightly sarcastic and fairly pathetic attempt at rather inappropriate humor>

Thank you Farscape cast and crew!! Thank you for your brilliant scripts and your wonderful acting! Thank you for creating a world where I can escape to every Friday night and meet new aliens and become a part of their world. I will fight to save Farscape until the very end! The execs at Sci Fi are making a huge mistake! I,for one, don't need Sci Fi without Farscape!

(I just sent the following message to the "CrackersDoMatter" address at Yahoo, after mailing a bunch of print letters to Sci-Fi Channel execs. If for some reason the cast and crew don't see the e-mail, I hope someone will pass this along to them...)

I'm a devoted viewer who lives in lower Manhattan. As you know, we had sort of a rough time about a year ago.

Ordinarily I would never mention those events in this context, but...I've been told that certain members of the Farscape team were stuck here in my home town one year ago, temporarily stranded when flights were suspended, and that they pitched in and did their part to help out at a time when we needed all the help we could get. I've often thought about that. It gives me a lot of pleasure to hear that folks who work on Farscape turn out to be every bit as terrific and heroic as the characters they've created.

Farscape is a show that's given us a lot of entertainment, and also makes us think. It doesn't talk down to us -- it assumes that we're as hip and with it as the folks who make the show, and that a show that you've enjoyed making is one we'll enjoy watching. You all deserve to be treated with much respect for that. And that means the writers and producers deserve a chance to conclude the story of John and company in the way they see fit, not having it cut off abruptly...and the crew and actors deserve that additional year to do great work together which they were promised, not just be kicked out on the street to find their next jobs.

If there's ever anything else this Farscape fanatic in New York can do to show my support, just let me know.

To the Cast & Crew of the Best Frelling Show on TV:

I'm still kind of in shock that Farscape is going away (not that I'm not doing all I can to stop it by writting to Scifi and other networks). But if this is goodbye I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all your work and dedication, which showed in every episode. Yours was truly a show consistantly fun to watch and I will miss it.

All the Best!

When I heard farscape was going to be cancelled I was very angry. It is one of the best sci-fi shows I've ever seen.
The actors are great the story is heartfelt.
Hopefully we can prevent that from occuring.
I want to say to the cast how grateful I am to them.To have been a loyal fan now and afterward. Wherever that leads us may you know you work has been the best out there.
Through the years it has shown me heart, the courage to fight back when it seems impossible. And to relie on your friends when all else is gone.
I have never seen another show that could teach you a lesson in life, yet farscape does.

farscape Forever,

Laura

The girls and I have been working hard writing letters and sending telegrams...hopefully we will be able to solve this crisis. However, whether we can get Farscape renewed or not, we will always appreciate the work that you have done. You have brought joy into our lives, and excitement and smiles every week (well, except for the multi-month hiatuses!!), and we love you for it. You are an exceptional group of people with more talent than some entire towns have...maybe even some states! Your kindness and love toward my family will not be forgotten. Thank you for a wonderful ride.

To all those involved with the production of Farscape.

Just wanted to convey my support to you all and thank you for the finest TV show in recent years. Both myself and my girlfriend (whom I got addicted to the series last year) are simply in a state of disbelief over what has happened.
Last week we were talking about when the show would be returning to BBC-2 here in the UK for it's 4th season.
Farscape has been for me the best SCI-FI series since Blake's 7 way back in 1981 and the cancellation of Farscape has hit me just as hard as that classic BBC show when it ended suddenly.
I hope somehow, someway that you get to tell the rest of the story and provide us with a finale to remember.
The past four years have been pure joy for viewers here in the UK and we have been proud to 'steal' the show and think of it as one of our own (and we are a fussy lot when it comes to quality TV) ;)
Rarely have I seen a show that had intelligent writing, complex characters, stunning costumes and breathtaking visuals but Farscape managed it week in week out.
Not sure I can survive the weeks without my fix of Chianna, Jools, Aeryn to name just a few.
Here's hoping you find a deserved new home....
Whatever happens, we will never forget this show so thanks for all your hard work.

We Australian fans have been left in a lurch by all that's happened to Farscape since Channel 9 botched its creation. I buy DVDs from the UK in order to watch it. I have nagged Foxtel here to show the series and was thrilled when they signed on JUST LAST MoNTH!!!! Now I am told that I will be watching a show that has been cancelled before it ever went to air here. To the cast and crew--don't think we fellow Aussies are any less betrayed. We didn't even get a chance to vote with our ratings because the show hasn't even been shown here since season 1. I know there's a lot of options running around now for alternatives--but what about Fox? They are here, they have resources for producing TV shows and movies here and their pay-TV arm is committed to the series as it was. Please don't fold your tents and leave! We love you and think you're the best thing on TV.

I just want to tell the cast and crew of Farscape that I love them all and will do everything I can to help keep you all on the air. I can't tell you the number of times I've been down and the mere act of watching an episode has made me feel a whole frelling lot better.
We're not going to let Moya go down with out a fight. SciFi is messing with the wrong Fans.
I love you all!!

It's 12:35 a.m. right now in Wisconsin, USA, and I now have read on Dark Horizons (also coincidentally hosted in Australia), that Farscape is not being renewed. I'm a mixture of emotions, mostly shock and anger. Everyone on this board has seen the show and I need not explain how truly dynamic this show has been in a, well, its fair to say, a decade of rigamorale sci-fi television that never seems to get the viewer interested. There are some shows that peak and then continue to go downhill, lasting too long before being cancelled. Farscape is a show that is hardly close to being finally reaching that pinnacle. It's the only show I really watch on Friday nights (when it's broadcast here), and its a sci-fi show I don't feel "dorky" watching and yammering on about to friends, because it is sci-fi but its fun, cool, exciting, and surprising (hard to genuinely do in sci-fi lately).

The show is also important to me because I am a hopeful screenwriter (I'm only 18, give me time, heh) but this is a show that inspires me to write and fuels my creative processes. I've already got my calender labeled for the first season of farscape to be released all in one set on DVD. For what it's worth, my friends, cousins, and myself pledge our support to keeping it on and like everyone on this board, offer you the same question: If there's anything I, we, can do....

Keeping the spirit live in the States,
Adam J.

To anyone who cares,

About three and a half years ago my father was diagnosed with teminal liver disease. The only thing that could save his life was a transplant, which the odds of getting are not very good. My father did not get the transplant, and as a result died on July the 14th of this year. Throughout the devastating few years of watching my father decline, and especially in the absolutley heartwrenching last few weeks of his life, my grip on this life became increasingly tenuous. I was completely devastated. During that period of time, and continuing through today, there were and are a precious few things that helped me to retain my grip on sanity, my will to live, and which have helped me to begin to take my first small and shaky steps down the healing road. One of those things was Farscape. I do not need to discuss the merits of the show, the actors, the writers, the production team, etc. It's obvious and anyone reading this should be aware of them. Hell, the fact that I am writing a letter like this in and of it'self should speak VOLUMES.
I want to applaud and to thank the Farscape family. You have produced something brilliant, unique, and wonderful and have helped me to get through the most difficult time of my life. Some of the last (and happiest) moments that I spent with my father were watching your show. Thank you.
I sincerely hope that there is some way to save Farscape. I am not ready for it to be over. In some way the journey and quest of John Crichton and of Moya and the rest of her crew , of the horrors and wonders that they have seen and experienced, represents some kind of a parellel to me of my current journey - the journey of life, death, and love. I do not like the thought of having to complete this journey on my own without getting to see my Friday night cohorts, my buddy John and his pals, get to complete theirs. Bad Mojo man. Bad Mojo.

Once again:
for all you have given me,
thank you.

Godspeed and good luck John Crichton.

and Crackers DO Matter.

Something that I forgot to mention in that first letter is that watching Farscape has also been a special time for my sister and I during this whole ordeal. It was a time for us to spend together or if we were not watching it together, it was something happy for us to duscuss and to look forward to. It will be sad to lose that, I hope that it can be saved.

It was a cold cold winter day. Dark and windy. Nothing seemed to matter...

... four years ago.

Was I bored beyond understanding, or was there a wast emptyness within me.

I guess there was.

Then out of the blue a new star was brought to my darkness.

A strange new world like no-other had been before...

...Farscape.

Now I've heard that my star could be taken away from me.

The darkness pushed back to my shoulders.

Can this be?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's do all we can to stop this madness from happening. Somethings are just too precious to be forgotten.

My thanks go to the cast and team member of the show... We will prevail!

I wish I could be as eloquent as everyone who spoke before me but I am lost for the right words.

So I will only say: I LOVE you guys, I love the fact that you told the fans straight out what had happend, I love the stories you told and the way you acted them out, I love Crichton's humour, Aeryn's kick ass personality, I love D'argo's growl, I love the little annoying flying dominar, I love the special effects and Moya and I can't stand the fact that Pilot and Rygel will end up lifeless stuck in a box somewhere.
I thank you all for making me love that show so much and I certainly will campaign my heart out in return.

Thank you for creating this wonderful, wonderful show. Farscape is the show that lured me into online fandom. I've liked other shows before and will probably like more in the future, but Farscape will always hold a special place in my heart, and my DVD collection.

Thank you for the complex plots, the three-dimensional characters, the three-dimensional world, the three-dimensional puppets. Thank you for 'frell.' Thank you not for endlessly torturing John, Aeryn, and the fans with the ongoing insanity that is their relationship, but for creating something interesting enough for me to care. Thank you for John and Aeryn themselves. Thank you for the good guys. Thank you for the bad guys. Thank you for the shades of gray. Thank you for being funny even when you're being dark. Thank you for the special effects. Thank you, even, for those torurous season enders. Thank you for being different. Thank you for being twisted. Thank you for creating a universe which, while I can't say I would want to live in it, I loved and anticipated my weekly visits to. Thank YOU for caring about your fans even though your evil corporate overlords don't.

You hang in there. We're still fighting for Farscape. Just point us somewhere and watch us go. Give me Farscape shot on a setless soundstage, and I will watch it. Just give me Farscape. If worse comes to worse, thank you for four wonderful years. You've changed my view of and standards for science fiction TV forever.

First of all, I must apologize for my poor english, but I am not a native speaker.
I have just visited several german Farscape formus and we are all very, very sad, angry and still shocked about what happened to Farscape. It`s just unfair! Though I am still grief-stricken, I would like to tell all you people involved in the creation of this fantastic show how much I appreciate your work. Thank you so much for bringing us many hours of the best scifi entertainment I have ever experienced. It all felt so real...!!
No matter what will happen, you`ve worked your way into our hearts!

Thanks for everything!!

Well, I've long been a fan of Scifi, but I never thought any series would make me participate in a campaign like this.

I've been all weekend faxing, mailing, chatting, even phoning... from Spain!!!. And that's because I've never seen anything like Farscape in TV. All thanks to you guys. Wonderful work. Even if we don't get more than season 4, you will have done the best thing ever in TV.

Keep fighting. We'll do all we can to have a season 5, 6, movie, whatever.

Un saludo,

Okay, now I have something remotely intelligent to say.

Thank you for 4 wonderful seasons of Farscape. I was late in coming to the show, but I have loved every minute of every episode I have ever seen. You do amazing and outstanding work, and I feel honored to be able to view your performance weekly. Thank you for providing a sanctuary where I could escape when real life got a little too hectic. Thank you for making me laugh on Friday nights recently - I really need it after a stressful week. Thank you for working so hard and putting together a true rarity on modern television - television as art. After my experience in several fandoms, this is the first for which I have felt truly devestated that the show would be ending prematurely.

We don't deserve Farscape, but Farscape deserves better.

Hey! Farscape is my favourite show, in the whole darned world. I'm a relatively new fan; we just started Season 3 on the Space Channel round here. I gotta say the cliffhanger from Season 2 is about the best episode of ANYTHING I have EVER seen. Aeryn, you're the sexiest thing! Crichton, you are the HEPPEST CAT EVER. To the whole Farscape cast & crew and everyone else involved in bringing us this wonderful show,

I want to thank you all for such a great show, you were amazing it was a joy and a pleasure to watch you over the years. You created one of the most amazing and THE greatest show ever. The fact, that you were always close to the fans only adds it that we, the fans, really LOVE you.
I'm really sad about the things that happened and I trully hope that it all will come to a good end. We will stand behind you no matter what happens. Now to something very important for me, please guys, try to stay together and do another show when Farscape will be over (after a 5. or 6. season). There is such a good chemistry between you and I don't want it to be lost. You guys are a great team like no other and must remain together.

THANK YOU for four wonderful years and for the years to come and I bet they come!

Frell Scifi if they didn't want the show anymore, we will find another network who really apreciates you and what you are doing for the scifi genre and mostly for your fans.

To the cast and crew of Farscape -

Thank you for the wonderful effort you've put into the show. It showed every week for three and a half years; Farscape truly is something special. It's actually brightened my week and allowed my imagination to run again, thank you.
What I'm most amazed by was the consistent quality of the production - the acting, writing, and special effects were all consistently spectacular. The acting on Farscape outdoes most acting coming out of Hollywood today, tuning into Farscape became like going to a short Friday night movie for me. Imaginative, creative, and wonderfully consistent writing made the show believeable, funny, dramatic, and at all times hard - very very hard to turn away from. Impossible, actually.
The 'scaper community is not going to let the cancellation stand without a hell of a fight, please don't give up all hope yet. We will get SciFi to rethink, or we will get somebody else to pick up S5. The first four years were great, I'm looking forward to the next couple also.....=)

To Ben,Tony,Gigi,Jon,Lani,Wayne and last but not least the beautiful Claudia,

What can I say - I'm absolutely devastated. I never saw this coming at all. The show has always been the most original piece of entertainment I have EVER seen. I don't know what I'm gonna do without all of you. You were/ are my escape - bad day at work--> go home and watch John and the gang having some "fun". Seriously though, I have loved the show from the moment I saw it and you all give so much when you are filming. It's fantastic to see a group of people having so much fun.

I am deeply saddened that i'm never going to see the complete story arc. I just know it would have been awesome. Please don't give up on the show - the fans have the power of persuasion on their side and we will fight on. I haven't given up as I know other channels must be dying to get their hands on the rights...but will Sci Fi behave like adults and sell the first 88 eps on?..who knows.

All I know is that i've never enjoyed anything as much as i've enjoyed your show.

Ben... Crichton is far too COOL not to continue his adventures!

Claudia.... Thank you...wonderful smile...wonderful actress...please don't disappear from view if this really is the end.

You all deserve medals for your efforts.

Take Care,
C:)

Dear 'Scapers--
We'll fight to the end to keep Farscape alive, but thank you all so much--Ben, Claudia, Anthony, Gigi, Rockne, and everyone who ever starred in or worked on the wonder that is Farscape. My friend bought me the first 2 dvds of season 1 for Christmas last year, when the show was on hiatus during season 3, and when we ran out of dvds we found someone who had taped every episode so far aired, got copies, and continued to watch.

And I'll be damned if we weren't caught up a month later when the final three episodes of season 3 aired. We fell in love with Farscape on first sight, and have been loyal fans ever since. The news hit us hard when we stumbled across it Sunday morning, and we've been calling, writing, e-mailing, and posting ever since in an effort to help save Farscape.

Regardless of the outcome, it's fighting the good fight, and no matter what happens, it does nothing to diminish the wonderful effort of all of you that helped bring Farscape to us every week. Thank you all so much, here's hoping we see you all back in uniform soon. Much love,

To anyone involved with the production of Farscape. THANK YOU!!

I wish that I had the writing talent that your writers have, I wish I could convey half of how much I enjoyed your show. My words here will not even come close to letting you know how much I have enjoyed FarScape.

The last thing in the world I thought would be worth staying home for on a friday night would be a TV show, but your show was worth staying home for. The sure enjoyment of what was going to happen next. To see each character change from season to season, was just perfect. To come to understand the relation ships and understand how much each relationship changed over time was just wonderful. To see you have Crichton split in two effectivitly splitting the show into two different programs and then bring it together seamlessly, and adding a whole new twist to the Aeryn and John love story. Watching Scorpius become In my oppion one of the best written bad guys in the history of T.V. and Film. Seeing the interaction of Scorpius and John is just incredible to watch. You made me question Scorpius’s motives one minute but a second latter wonder if I misunderstood him. All the actors are wonderful, Chiana’s detail to body movement. John in the Aurora chair, ( I swear someone must have been sending electricity in to the chair in real life to get that look on Ben’s face) The friendship and earned respect between D'argo and John. So many different subtleties I don't have time to list them all

Ben if you see this I really think of you as the Kirk of my generation. I hope you think that is good thing. A hero that I identify with as coming from a background like my life, thanks for a job well done.

I could go on for hours and if you need any one to talk about farscape for hours and hours you should contact me. Nothing really good ever dies and I am sure that all things that have value and are truly works of art, and works of passion, and vision will rise above. Farscape will return and maybe it won’t be what we expect or what we had envisioned but I am sure that in the future it will be valued as something special.

It just might take time for people to get it through there fril'en skulls.

Dear Farscape Cast and Crew,

Thank you for giving us the best show on television for the past 4 years. We fans are going to continue to work hard at the campaign to Save Farscape and hopefully we'll get our season five and possibly more.

Smart and sexy, Farscape is the smoothest blend of adventure and pathos, life and death, and comedy and angst, with a little romance thrown in for good measure. Anthony, Ben, Claudi, Gigi, Lani, Virginia, and Wayne you made this show what it is. From the beginning, you helped created characters that were immediately engaging, characters I wanted to know more about. With the later additions of Tammy, Paul, Melissa, Raelee, and Rebecca, it was again fine actors bringing to life well-crafted 3-dimensional characters. And I want to know what happens to them in the future. Thank you for all your hard wok, and the best Friday nights ever!

As for David Kemper, Rockne O'Bannon, and Brian Henson, I applaud your dedication to this show from it's inception and even before, from your first conception of it. Pat yourselves on the back, you deserve it.

Finally, the crew -- To all the amazing directors, writers, puppeteers, set designers and builders, costume creators, makeup artists, props masters, everone -- every week you blow me away! The detail and artistry is something to marvel at. Thank you for your dedication. You've played an important role in the success of this show.

And it has been a success. Frankly I have no idea why SciFi has made its decision. Where does it think it's going to get another show as good or as successful as Farscape?

To everyone who has worked on Farscape, you should be very proud of yourselves. Congratulate yourselves on a job excellently done, give each other hugs, buy yourselves a round and remember that there are hundreds of thousands of fans who are working on keeping you in a job. :D

Dearest Ben, Claudia, Tony, Gigi, Wayne, DK, Rockne, Ricky and everyone else -

Rest assured that this despicable and cowardly act of corporate prison rape WILL NOT STAND!!!!!

The wonderful gift that you have given us deserves something in return. A mere thanks, however heartfelt, simply does not suffice.

Although Moya is probably being dismembered as I type, as a previous poster said even if you all got together once a week, got piss drunk and acted out Season 5 with sock puppets my wife and I would still be right there with you.

In fact, we are with you in a spirit of love and hope and doing everything we can to make our voices heard. The screwheads at SCIFI will soon realize that, by stabbing us in the back, they have only wounded themselves and hastened their own demise.

Despite what is definitely a very grim state of affairs, all is not lost, and there is still hope.

How do I know that? Three words.

Major. League. Baseball.

If the players and owners of Major League Baseball found a way to avert a strike for the first time in 30 years then FRELL IT!!! - there MUST be a way to turn this thing around!!!

Having said that, I believe it was the great poet Jonathan "Bluto" Blutarsky who said, "What?...Over?...Did you say 'Over'?!.....NOTHING is over until WE decide it is!!!.....Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?.....HELL NO!!!!.....And it ain't over now!!! 'Cuz when the going gets tough....the tough get going!!!"

Much love to all of you for your spirit, your talent and your dedication,

I am so upset about this and can't believe it is happening. I have sent my letters, made my calls, and sent my emails and wish there was more I could do.

I hope that the cast and crew find a way to get the story and conclusion to Farscape out there. It feels like being invited to a movie and loving the first half of it, but right when you are in the middle of the climax the projector gets shut off and the film burned.

I wanna cry.

We all love you, all of you!

Thanks so much for bringing us one of the greatest science fiction television shows of all time. The story lines are creative, original, funny, and intelligent. The acting is top notch. The characters are simply classic.

I've spent the past few hours writing and sending letters, faxes, e-mails, etc. I hope that we can save this great show.

Dear Beautiful People,

I have come to love Farscape. It bewitches me. I've never loved any show more; and Farscape really touches my heart as well as my mind and my sense of humour.

Wayne Pygram:
your performances and the character of Scorpius are 'without description'...
I have identified with Scorpius from Nerve onward...he is a most magical character, and one of the most sympathetic I have ever seen. There is such depth and TRUE INSPIRATION in your performance. You are a very gifted actor and you have made Scorpius truly LIVE.
I am eternally grateful for Scorpius. He's...a close friend of mine. He helped me through the death of my father...so did Farscape.
Scorpius is part of me forever.

I thank the Goddess and God for such a wonderful archetypal show and characters. You are channels of a higher power.

To the Cast: You are so beloved. I love you all and I have enjoyed your performances more than I can express in words. Thank you THANK YOU for giving me such joy and pleasure...and tears, yes...sorrow too.
It's just that Farscape seizes one's heart and doesn't let go.

Bright blessings to you all...hang in there you all are loved more than you know!

We WILL SAVE FARSCAPE.
Some things are too precious to lose!

Never Surrender!

I just wanted to add my thanks and appreciation to the cast and crew of Farscape, for providing 3 1/2 (soon to be 4) years of top-notch, kick-in-the-pants-fun, quality entertainment. My friends and I will certainly be keeping an eye on your future projects, since a large portion of our favorite actors, writers, and other various skilled creators were focused in that one place.

I'm writing my letters to anyone that will listen, telling them that Farscape deserves another shot. It's rare to get a truly involving piece of entertainment these days, something that you can discuss and think about for days after it airs. Farscape is one such program. Regardless of its' future, I wish you all the best, and thank you for contributing to one heckuva story.

Take care.

I'd love for you (cast and crew) to read all of these posts. Can you feel the love? :D

I don't have a nice story about how Farscape changed my life or how it lightened up my sad days, simply because there's not a single moment of these past 4 years that i can single out, well, actually i can single out the beginning of it all. I remember the way you grabbed me by the heart and never let go. I thank you for that.

I remember hating Rygel and at the next moment laughing with him and being simpathetic. Then thinking "it's a puppet", but immediately thinking "not it is not a puppet, he's a character, he is the Dominar". Thanks Jonathan Hardy and all the puppeteers.

I remember Aeryn trying to speak english and John falling for her everytime, Granny drugs or not. I remember the unspoken "I love you's" and then the outspoken ones. I remember crying my eyes out when Talyn John said "Don't worry about me... I've never felt better" and the way Aeryn saw John go. Thanks Claudia and Thanks Ben.

I remember watching Zhann die, OMG what a sad moment. I couldn't believe she was gone, until i read Virginia's declarations and the reasons why she left. That made me feel a little better and made me understand, but it was still sad. I remember her wise words and her soft voice. Thanks Virginia.

I remember finding myself strangely drawn to Scorpius. He is the kind of villain that you can't accept you like, but deep inside you don't want him dead (not yet anyway ;)) Harvey was also a highpoint of the show for me. I remember the hawaiian shirt. Thanks Wayne.

I remember Chiana, her mischievous smile, the way she matured aboard Moya and the way she became a part of it. Not a spoiled girl anymore. Thanks Gigi.

I remember Ka D'Argo and his long quest to find his son. I also remember his weird sense of humor and how he became John's friend. The characterization of D'Argo has to be one of the most complex ones on TV. Thanks Anthony for enduring all that makeup and rubber and thanks to the makeup people.

I remember Pilot and Moya, they were 2 individuals, but 1 at the same time. Pilot and his patience is commendable, his nobility and his service. Moya about to Starburst, what a beautiful sight!!. Those that say Andromeda is the most beautiful starship in the universe have never seen Moya. I remember Crais, he really made me doubt myself, am i being too paranoid, is he trustworthy, what does he want. Thanks Lani, the Pilot puppeteers, the set decorators and the CGI guys.

I remember metal melting as she screamed, i also remember Jool. I was hoping for a chance to see her again, i still do. Thanks Tammy.

Sikozu, Nuranti, Grayza, only 11 episodes or so to get to know you, that's not fair. I hope this is not the end cause i still don't have enough. Thanks Raelee, Melissa, Rebecca.

I'm sure this sounds like a goodbye, i'm hoping in my heart that it is not, and i'm doing my part to avoid the end, but if everything fails i wanted to have the oportunity to say it. Be sure that i'll always remember....God's speed and be well. :aok:

I've written my letters, signed the petitions and now just wanted to take a few minutes to say Thank You and I can't belive it's over. If SciFi doens't come to their senses make a movie, write a book. They may not care anymore but your fans still do. If all else fails.....
Thank You for working so hard each week to make an incredible show.
Thank You for always being original and unique.
Thank You for pushing the boundaries of SciFi.
Thank You for consistently making one of the best hours of television each week.
Thank You for four amazing seasons (eventhough I've had to watch most of them on DVD because I'm a member of the non-existent growing fan base that SciFi sited as the reason for canceling the show)

Thanks most of all for one incredible, crazy, bizarre ride!!!

Good Luck no matter what!

I'm going to send a longer email to the yahoo account when I've had time to really think, but I just wanted to stop by quickly and add my heartfelt thanks to the cast and crew.

You've given us 12,000% of your time, energy, creativity, passion, and talent for four seasons, and for that I will forever be grateful. Farscape is an amazing show, the best on TV regardless of network or genre. I will miss it more than I can say if the worst comes to pass. I've come to know and love these characters through the outstanding writing and acting on display every week. In addition, I have met wonderful friends - the fans that got me hooked in the first place.

Thanks to you all for bringing your vision into my life. Your artistry has touched my heart, and I hope that means something to you, especially now. Farscape will never truly be gone.

Always save Crichton!

Farscape is the ONLY Science Fiction on T.V. today. (besides re-reuns of ST:TnG)

Enterprise = Crap
Star Gate = Crap
Andromeda = Crap

Etc. etc. etc. etc.

I was fortunate enough to get to meet Lani at Dragon CON this year and that makes me doubly sad to hear that the Sci-Fi channel would do this.. The enthusiasm he had for the show was great, and I imagine the whole cast and crew is in shock.. Farscape is the ONLY thing I tune into SciFi for, so they can pat themselves on loosing me pretty much permenatly.

I hope to be able to see season 5 somewhere. If not, thanks for making the only good Science Fiction on T.V. for the last 4 years. I'm effectively without a Science Fiction outlet on T.V. now if no one else picks it up. :(

I can't believe Sci-fi would even consider cancleing the best show on their network. With some of the crumby crap they are keeping. How many time can you watch Star Trak. You need something new in your life. You can;t live in the past. Farscape is getting to be the only reason I even watch Sci-fi anymore. The LEXX is gone, Invisable man, and Firstwave. If fARSCAPE goes THATS IT FOR ME! So do us all a favor and keep us from protesting. Leave well enough alone.

Farscape is simply just damn fine television. Not only that, but I believe it to be the best of what's currently on, and I've held that opinion for these past four years. There are other fine shows on TV, but Farscape ranks at the top?

And why? Because, first, the writing is top-notch. The vision of the creators has not been diluted these last four years. Each episode fleshes out that vision with well-crafted scenes, beautiful dialogue, and heart-wrenching drama -- not to mention some of the best comedy ever. And, perhaps most importantly, as a show that is so conscious of science fiction cliches, it has managed to avoid every pitfall that has destroyed other science fiction shows. Despite the use of overtired plots such as dopplegangers and shrinking, Farscape makes these concepts fresh and new again. As someone who hopes to write this well some day, I hold up Farscape as a model of excellence -- if not THE model of excellence.

Second, the directing and acting never ceases to amaze me. Any time an actor has to partake in a gender / character-bending trip, the results are both hilarious and devastatingly accurate. In no other show have I seen almost EVERY actor be able to display such a range of acting. The directors have an uncanny talent for being able to realize the vision of the writers, and -- if it's even possible -- IMPROVE upon it. No other show that I know of does this on a consistent basis, much less for four years running.

On occasion, I imagine that I could join this family in its creative aspect. It's so obvious to me that everyone involved has an immense measure of fun every time they come to "work". It would be a job that I would love, if I had it. This love for your work comes through in every episode. When a cast and crew come together like this, people who respect and love the material being presented, there is nothing else like it. And, unlike many creative teams, I have complete faith in your mastery of this art. Everyone involved, EVERYONE, is a master of their trade. And none of you should ever think any differently.

I'd be done, but I have to say one more thing. I'm trying to do my part to make sure that this show gets at least one more year to tell its story. In this post, I'm going to include a copy of the letter I've been sending out. These are words I am not sure I could ever duplicate, but they are nonetheless true.

We all know how Star Trek has pervaded our culture, right? We'll, kids... the world ain't seen nothing yet.

----------------------------------------------------------

In 1969, when Star Trek’s five-year mission was cancelled after only two years, thousands and thousands of letters were written and sent in, each one expressing the intense desire that the show be allowed to run another year. NBC reversed its decision. Later that year, on a Sunday, three men landed on the Moon. Star Trek will be celebrating its 35th anniversary this year with a tenth feature film. The second season of it fifth series will premiere on UPN September 18th.

Farscape will finish filming its fourth season this Tuesday. Chainsaws are being prepared to tear down Moya on Wednesday, September 11th.

Bad timing, to say the least.

In what many might consider a vast television wasteland, Farscape is one of those few beacons of entertainment that really connects with viewers. Compared to what is currently on now, few shows are able to do this with any success or lasting power. Farscape is certainly one of those shows, and I’d like to try and explain why I think that is the case.

First, Farscape is the most successful original television show that Sci Fi has ever had. No show before this has ever run as long as Farscape has, and no other show on the network has developed a comparable following. No Invisible Man, no Chronicle, no Stargate will ever come close to replacing that kind of magic. Personally, it’s one of the principal reasons I watch the network at all. Compared to what Sci Fi has in Farscape, everything else is appetizer.

But why is that? For science fiction fans of any age, Farscape is like a capstone to a great legacy. It cannot stand on its own – like its metaphor, it depends on the blocks of other great science fiction works as its foundation – but its position atop the what has come before it allows it to shine the most brightly. As such, it is almost required to be conscious of each and every single television show, cartoon, novel, film, comic book, and short story that serves as its support – for without one of these the whole structure would come down. Each episode actively reminds us of that fact. References to other works abound. Such consciousness of famous and overtired science fiction clichés allows the show, its writers and actors, to constantly challenge themselves and keep the Farscape fresh and new. Year after year this has been a smashing success, at least from where I’m sitting. No other show in the history of television, staring down such a wealth of material, has been able to claim that. After four years, this is no less true.

It would be very interesting to see what this show could achieve in five.

That’s what Farscape is amongst its peers, but what is it alone? As a stop on prime time every Friday night, how does it stack up? I know I’m not interested in watching anything else on Friday nights. I’m a busy person, and I only have a few shows I make a point to watch every week. This is one of them, the most important one, for good reason.

Like its aforementioned predecessor (in spirit, if nothing else), Star Trek, Farscape ultimately is a tool that allows humanity to examine itself. All good science fiction serves this function. It is a mirror that shows us our own flaws and, hopefully, our own strengths (it certainly shows us our own idiosyncrasies, as Farscape proves episode after episode). It is a shadow – while it can never represent everything about us, we can recognize something of ourselves in every scene and every moment. It examines our history as it is relayed to imaginary alien cultures, and – more often than not – comments on the absurdity, bravery, or difficulty of decisions past generations have been forced to make. But most of all, it is hope. It is hope that some day we might find someone other than us to tell our stories to. It is a wish that we may better understand reality itself. It is the need to grow, explore, and simply know.

That is what Farscape is to me and, I imagine, to countless others.

All good things must end eventually. However, the wonderful creative staff of Farscape has not yet had a chance to finish telling their story. A carefully plotted and executed end, while sad, will be powerful and moving, much more so than the abrupt end that we are currently expected to receive when Sci Fi airs the final 11 episodes of the fourth season in 2003.

Television, aside from being one of the most massive industries in the world, is one of our principal means of storytelling. It is the vessel for new myths and heroes, new idols and champions, new evils and villains. It is humanity and its truth. Even in fiction we find the truth. The best fiction is a means to an end – the cleverly crafted lie is not the end-all and be-all of the story. Fiction merely serves to frame the truth. Everything, from the shortest commercial to the longest maxi-series does this. But there are few gems like Farscape that can do it well and do it often.

This next week, a nation – and a world – will remember the deaths of 3000 men and women who died tragically, suddenly, and senselessly. Stories have been made and will continue to be made about this event for generations to come. Our reaction to it in this way has said more about us than anything else could ever possibly hope to match. And maybe it would be in the best interest of everyone if we don’t deliberately destroy what many of us might consider a strong symbol of our society. The desire to leave the cradle of the Earth and head out into space. A promise of peace. A promise of hope. And above all, a symbol of humankind’s innate goodness and curiosity.

For these reasons, humbly ask – no, plead – for a stay of execution.

At least until the 12th.

After that, if nothing else and Sci Fi decides not to pick up the fifth season, it is my request that the rights to the existing 88 episodes be sold to any party interested in developing that fifth season. Without that piece, it would be like a play without the final act. A movie without the climax. A Clockwork Orange without Chapter 21.

Hopefully, one day in the near future, our children will sit in a dome or glorified tin can on the surface of Mars, relaxing from a hard day’s work, and watching the adventures of John Crichton and the crew of Moya. And perhaps, while they enjoy some of the finest entertainment Earth has to offer with their furry little friends from Alpha Centauri, they
will say to themselves, “boy, was Henson ever wrong…”

Let’s see the end of this five-year mission.

Sincerely and Earnestly,
Sean Corse

I am gutted. And if I'm gutted, I can't begin to imagine how the cast, crew and producers of Farscape are. As an Aussie who gets the show taped off air in the US and then follows up with the UK dvds, I can't vote with my feet and cancel a subscription to SCI FI channel. But if I could, I would.

I say this to them ... as you sew, so shall you reap.

People are not Kleenex. You can't use them to get where you want to go, then bin them. Farscape may not be saved. I want it to be, I've done what I can to contribute to the fight to save it, but that may not be enough. And life will go on, for all of you and all of us. But the people who treated the cast and crew and producers and makers of this unique story like Kleenex, who smiled and said hey yeah, we dig you, we want you, then spat on you when they thought they didn't need you any more ... when they spat on us, the people who dreamed the dream with you ... they made sure they'd be reaping bad karma. And they deserve to.

God bless you all ... and from the bottom of my breaking heart, thank you.

And I have to say this ... at least you guys, cast and makers, know how the frelling story ends!!!! Please find a way of telling us, will you?????

I have never in my life laughed, cried, gotten angry and then become happy again all from sitting in front of my television and watching it for an hour. Then Farscape comes on and changes everything I have ever thought about television.

Everyone has put it so much better than me and I would just like to add my voice to theirs. Crackers Do Matter and I will be with you till the fighting end or the triumphant return whichever the case may be.

Not since I watched Transformers as a little kid have I actually run to the Television at the oh so familiar sound of Moya flying by as the commercial break ended. I literally taking off like a giddy school girl. :)

My love goes out to you for doing something unique, interesting and entertaining. There has never been anything like it before and I would give each and every one of you a hug if I could. You are all absolutely brilliant.

I will never forget Ka'Dargo with Chiana in his body and him adopting her walk and maneurisms exactly. The scene in the hallway with Chianna and Rygel in Dargo and John's bodies, ready to go at it.

The sadness I felt as John realises he just killed Aeryn. The torment of Stark at the loss of Zhan. I will never ever let go of Krais and Talyn sacrificing themselves for the betterment of the galaxy. The lines "I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!" and the rest of the crichtonisms. The first time Rygel let wind break and everyone squeaking. The good news that "Chianna and I are having amazing sex." I will never forget Jool trying to connect with Dargo, Chianna's attempts at bringing everyone off their clouds, the old lady and Sikozu figuring out the plant, or Dargo giving his heartfelt comments on loving to shoot things.

Aeryn and Zhan and Stark and Chianna and Rygel and Jool and Crichton and Scorpius and Krais and Moya and Pilot and every single entity on that show. I love them so much and they will always be in my heart.

As we all clearly know, everyone who works for FarScape has our support, and we are all doing everything in our power to keep FarScape going. There have been petitions galore, emails, letters, faxes, phone calls, and undoubtedly multiple times of different things, but lets all keep in mind one thing... Which I know we are already doing...

FARSCAPE RULES! :grr:

There will never be anything else quite like it. Ever. And if there is, then it will not be for quite some time, but FarScape is unique, and that is due in many ways to the cast. I will be honest. I watch the show as it comes out on DvD. It is REALLY hard, because I have just recently went about 2 months with no FarScape. But for others who will go a lifetime with no ending to the storyline... That is just morally wrong. You all have our support. We will be sure to keep this war raging.

Wishes of Best of Luck, and we will triumph...

I have grown to love your characters like those in a good, no in a great book. I love J.R.R. Tolkien, and I cry over the end of Lord of The Rings every time.

I know the difference between reality and fiction mind you, but I love a good tale.

I tell you. All of you, that as close as Sam Gamgee, and Frodo Baggins are to me, and as fond as I am of reading about them, likewise am I fond of John and Aeryn. I look forward to seeing each week how their lives will change and fold around one another. I love all of your characters because you play them with such heart. It is difficult to see you all cut short, in the middle of as great a story as has been told on television. I applaud you no matter what happens, but I promise that I will not rest as long as there is a chance to keep you spinning your tale. Ben, Claudia, Gigi, Anthony, and all of you, thank you. Don't give up hoping. Maybe this will be our chance to show you how much we appreciate your hard work.

To the cast, crew and fans ,I wish to say my heartfelt thanks for producing such wonderful show. But I was wondering how I could really express this-what words could I use. Then I found this letter on the bb at Canada's Space. The author is a well-known Canadian writer and his/her identity was withheld on request. I will quote--- "Greetings ,I have recently heard of the cancellation of the TV show FARSCAPE(shown on Sci-fi in the USA and on SPACE in Canada) and,as a viewer and consumer,I would like to issue a few comments of protest on this action. I watch Farscape on Canada's Space channel and it is by far and away the best written sci-fi on TV(better than Buffy,Enterprise,Angel and Stargate combined in my humble opinion). There is no justice in a world that allows intelligent programming to die in favour of mindless tripe (just check out the current fall line-up on the major networks for a few examples)Programs like Farscape challenge our intelligence and perceptions, and lift the human spirit to soar amongst the stars, while most other shows simply drag us back to the primordial muck from whence we came. The world is living in an age where heroes, both real and fictional ,are sorely needed .Farscape ,if it teaches anything while it entertains, shows that with effort, people of divergent cultures and races can work together for a greater good. While the world teeters on the brink of global war ,Farscape ,like other science fiction, shows that freed from the bonds of gravity, even a single human can rise above the hate and prejudices of his planet and find a place in the stars. That thought alone can give hope to all humanity...that we will always choose the high road for a better future,no matter what the odds. It is truly a shame that programming decisions are made by people who, while possibly sympathetic to a cause, also SEEM to understand little more than the numbers at the end of a balance sheet. While I am aware that show business is a business first,I am also aware that those people in said business are loath to learn the lessons of history, and are often doomed to repeat them(anybody remember the name of the executive who cancelled the original Star Trek? No?Didn't think so...) It is very hard to go back and restore a mistaken cancellation where a television show is concerned... Please do not make an error that could easily be corrected with a few moments of reflection and allow this fine piece of programming to fade into oblivion. With deepest concern,<the anonymous fan who wrote the letter> P.S.--The Space bb also indicated that Space is doing all it can to help.If you wish to see the original letter,go to www.spacecast.com and check in at their forums.

I'm so frelling furious!

Farscape is by far the best SF series since Star Trek: The Next Generation. If Farscape ends after its fourth season, I will be cancelling my SciFi Channel subscription.

Love and best wishes to the entire cast and production team for this wonderful series. I'll continue to campaign for renewal -- or transfer to another network such as Showtime -- until I hear that Farscape will survive!

I just want to express my heartfelt thanks to the cast and crew of Farscape for making what was probably the most refreshing, original, stylish, well written, well produced TV show out thee for the last 5 years! I hope that this inexplicable decision by Sci-Fi can be turned around and I, as others, will do everything that I can to get the attention of the decision makers and force them to change this. Good luck and, once again, thank you.

To the cast and crew of Farscape,

I first found out about the cancellation in an email from a fellow 'Scaper. I couldn't believe it. I read the transcript of the chat with tears flowing from my eyes. I have been a follower of Moya and crew from the very beginning. I counted the weeks until the newest episodes would begin. It is my favorite show and the only "must-see" tv show on my list. I will miss it greatly when it is over.

But, I hold out hope that it isn't really over. I have sent my faxes, emails and letters. I hope that someone will see the folly in this cancellation and give us one more season. Or that the show gets picked up by some other network.

If all else fails, please find some way to get out the rest of the story. Paperbacks, cartoons, comic books.... Wherever Moya goes, we will follow.

Thanks for putting together such a terrific television show.

The feeling that hit me when I was first made aware that Farscape was to be cancelled... is indescribable.

Just a couple weeks ago, I watched the ending of this last season - which left John floating in space above Earth. I SO love this show, my friends can tell you they STILL have not heard the end of my anxiousness for the next season to go on.

Four seasons just ISN'T enough. And to think of cancelling it with a cliffhanger? Are they serious? Wow. There IS a conspiracy to drive millions of people crazy, isn't there? *wry grin*

I just wanted to made my voice heard here in support of everyone right now. The cast and crew. And even the fans that read here. I really hope the outpouring I'm seeing [though I was only made aware of the cancellation about 15 minutes ago] really goes a long way and gets us a continuation on Farscape.

It is, by far, the BEST science fiction series I have EVER in my life seen. Best Ever!!! No show has ever managed to capture my imagination the way this one has. No show I've ever watched has kept me on the edge of my seat, brought me to tears, and held me in thrall the way that Farscape has over the past few seasons.

My thoughts are with everyone in this effort. It would be a sad sad thing to lose something so great in the land of television.

And I have to agree with other comments before : "You had us at hello."

Best wishes,
With hope,
Jenna

I just want to say a giant thank you to the cast and crew. Farscape is truly the best show ever. I will do everything that I can to get Farscape back into production, but if we fail...then I will never forget how you all gave a part of yourselves to entertain us. Thank you for sharing your gifts, your friendships and your grace; you have kept us sane when what we really want to do is scream at the top of our lungs. We love each and every one of you and will support any acting/writing efforts that you take part in.

For Ms. Black and Ms. Edgley in particular, thank you for showing the world that women can be tough and sexy too.

For Mr. Browder, Mr. Simcoe, and Mr. Pygram, brillance does not go unrecognized for long.

For Mr. Kemper and Mr. O'Bannon, thank you for giving us the courage to pursue our dreams.

Best of luck to all of you.

First of all I want to thank you all for giving us such a wonderful show which was different from other SciFi shows. It was more mature and more fun to watch.

It has given me great pleasure for the last two years (finally catching up on Season One), both in the acting as in the storylines. I must admit that it was Lani's voice as Crais which got me hooked on the whole show and I'm glad I did.

Here in Holland we haven't seen Season 4 yet, since the BBC still has to air it and I was/am quite looking forward to it.

I was dismayed and shocked to learn on the Cohort's board that the show was to be cancelled and that there wouldn't be a Season 5. I was angered that the Cast and Crew were given so short notice. And I'm sad that we might not see the characters we love so much in new episodes anymore.

Like all the others fans all over the world I will try and do my best to help get the show back and hope that the people with the powers to do so will reconsider and give us more Farscape.

Whatever the outcome, I hope that all of the Cast and Crew will find success and fortune in all all you endeavour to do and I wish you strength in these difficult times.

A big thank you to everyone involved in the production of Farscape, one of the most innovative and intelligent SF programmes that has been produced.

I am dismayed by SciFi's decision to cancel the show and believe that they're making a major error of judgement in the short-term which will come back to haunt them in the long-term.

It's Tuesday afternoon where I sit and I have just found out that SciFi Channel has definately canceled the fifth season for Farscape. First of all I don't want to believe this is the final word on this. I have to hope that SciFi Channel comes to thier senses and realizes that Farscape is fundamental to what the SciFi Channel is and should be. SciFi Ch. has always been a great idea but in the beginning they really had a problem in finding thier direction. It wasn't until they joined up with Farscape that they really became a true scifi channel.

Farscape is at the heart of what makes the SciFi Channel the unique experience it has become. Shows like Farscape, Lex, and SG-1 are what I am looking for when I tune in. If I wanted Crossing Over I would be watching Lifetime. SciFi Channel has to walk the walk if they want to talk the talk. At some point they have to accept the fact that they can't cateer to the common denominator and still be a SciFi experience. This doesn't mean that they can't have a large audience. By showing a commitment to the genre they will also find a commitment from the fans.

Of course that can burn both ways and by not supporting the great shows out there like Farscape they could quickly become the SciFi Channel that isn't about SciFi. SciFi fans are the most loyal fans there are but they demand loyalty in return.

Cancelling Farscape now while it is at it's creative peak just doesn't make sense. The show is better now than it has ever been. This is not a show whos sun is setting but rather a show that has just gotten it's second wind and is more entertaining than ever. I have many friends that have just finally settled in as fans of the show and this is despite the constant switching of air times.

Now I don't mean to say that the show was ever less than entertaining but it feels to me as though it has recently matured to the point where everyone is at the top of thier game. Actors, writers, directors and producers are all in tune with one another and are enjoying thier craft. I was really looking forward to this new fifth season.

To the cast and crew of Farscape I would like to express my sincere appreciation for being allowed to make the journey with you for the past four years. It has been a lot of fun and I hope that somehow we are all able to travel together again sometime soon. Thanks guys.

I just wanted to let all the cast and crew know how much the show and all of you have meant to me over the last four years. While I hope the SCI FI Channel will come to its senses and renew the show or some other network will pick it up, if not thank you for four years of great science fiction television. Farscape took sf television where it hadn't been before: into a gritty, nasty world where people didn't necessary like each other, rarely seemed to have enough to eat, couldn't stay out of trouble, but somehow became a family. This is a far cry from the antiseptic, conflict-free world of Star Trek which we're going to be left with. I'm missing Crichton, D'Argo, Rygel, Aeryn, and the rest of the gang already.

What makes Farscape so special to me are the characters and the relationships between them. So much of that is the acting and the writing, so much of the credit for the show has to go to the actors and writers, and the other creative folks. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to these folks especially for all the enjoyment you've given me over the last four years. Aeryn and John's relationship, frustrating as it is at times, has kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting to see what happens next. Scorpius' fascinating behavior towards John this season has me intrigued and I can't wait to see what he's up to. Dargo and Chiana's relationship and its breakup was masterfully played by Gigi Edgley and Anthony Simcoe. Thanks again for such great work.

I also want to thank all the production designers, costumers, makeup artists, and other designers. Farscape is an incredibly beautiful, elegant, and sometimes terrifying show thanks to your outstanding work. One of the things that drew me to the show in the first place was the way Chiana and Zhaan looked. Their makeup, hair, and costume were just mind-boggling. Characters in Farscape truly look alien, not like some other sf shows I've could mention (a-hem!). The sets, backdrops, and props are intricate and original and much better than most movies with many times the budget. Please know that your exceptional work is seen and appreciated. At least once per episode something new catches my attention and makes me go "ooh, that's really neat!" while I never stop marvelling at Moya.

Rest assured that none of us are going to forgive or forget what the SCI FI Channel has done. They took the show that gave them their reputation and treated it like dirt. At least they could have been honest about it and said it was a money issue. They seem to think we will watch whatever cheap junk they throw up there on Friday nights. They will find out that's not the case. We won't forget the shoddy way they treated both you and us, and won't go back to being passive viewers of whatever they want to replace Farscape with. Farscape isn't replaceable.

Thanks again for four years of magic and wonder.

Best Wishes

Janet Tait

I feel like I'm going to be losing wonderful friends. Pilot crated up and warehoused somewhere? That's just so wrong.

I'm writing, I'm telling my friends to write. It doesn't feel like enough.

I cannot echo the sentiments I've read on this board enough. Farscape has become such an amazingly, wonderfully important part of my life that the thought of losing it under such circumstances is very difficult to bear. But like everyone else here, I have no intention of letting go of it without a fight.
It is an absolute joy to watch people who have a true passion for what they do in life, & to know that they have found their true calling. I see it in every episode of Farscape I watch, & I really feel that the passions of those onscreen is matched by those offscreen.
To the entire cast & crew of Farscape...thank you for 4 wonderful years. And I'll thank you again after the 5th wonderful year. And after a fantastic movie. And after a great anime series. And...ad infinitum.

Thankyou farscape crew and everyone who helped to create such a wonderful show! My heart goes out to you all. It it once in a blue moon when something good actually shows on tv. Fot those sixty minutes we were all warped into something that was real to us, and know doubt we will take that with us, and keep thinking of it till it explodes our small heads. What other show does that?! The one show i looked forward to watching flushed down the toilet. Now back to flipping through the channels a hundred times to find something good. OHH Frell and Frell and Frell, might as well view a box. Sci fi wont be the same again!! :(

You guys are incredible. It's hard to imagine that such a powerful and brilliant show should even be being discussed as on the chopping block. This is the best show on TV, bar none.

Anyway, everyone else has said so much, all I want to add is that we love you all and it *will* work out, you can rest assured that we won't let this end now.

Lani - nice job with Pilot. I miss you as Crase.

Virginia - I miss my favorite blue alien. Thank you for everything...You made ICON Great!!!!

Anthony Simcoe - I just love D'Argo!!!! Go Here: http://goldendragonslair.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=13931

David Kemper - You were awesome, too. Please use some of that emthusiam you had at the convention to stop Sci-Fi from cancelling the show.

All I have left to say is they better not cancel this show, it is my favorite show and I have been waiting patiently for 5th season. Guys, what can I say? When I read on SCI-FI Wire yesterday morning that the show was being cancelled I was absolutely gutted. I'm still not sure I've processed it.

I am not a great fan of tv Science Fiction - more a book guy myself - but Farscape had restored my faith in the ability of television to produce exciting, original, sexy science fiction.

I sincerely hope that somehow or other the show can continue. The cast and crew have been tremendous. I have been consistently impressed by the enthusiasm that everyone has shown for the show whenever I have seen interviews (Anthony's interview in the recent DVD release in the UK had my wife and I in absolute hysterics!). I am sure you must be as gutted as we are.

All I can say is good luck for the future. Hopefully you'll be back. If not I hope everyone had a bloody good boost to their careers from their association with the show. It's the least you deserve.

Just to make a couple of comments (it's horrible to single people out but...):
Ben - thanks for giving us a hero that we can believe in.
Claudia - for being smart, tough & sexy and yet still a grown-up!
Anthony - for bringing D'Argo alive as a character when he could so easily have been a stock 'warrior alien' cliche.

To all the other cast, writers and directors - for giving us a series that is weird, dark, funny, scary, and just great, great fun.

Best wishes,
Chris

To DK, Ben, and all of the cast and crew:
For years you have given us incredible stories to listen to, wonderful characters to relate to, and have opened our eyes to a new type of science-fiction. Now there are people who want to take away all that you have accomplished, and we, both as fans and friends, will not stand for it. We will continue to fight this injustice as long as we can, and if all else fails, I'll even try to help finance the show myself. It won't be much, but every little bit helps. Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the good times that are sure to come in the future.
Sincerely,
Lord Owen

Just a note to tell the crew, that from a digital video producer's standpoint, it's a great show. I enjoy the acting, writing, set designs and special effects. Too bad that a once fledgling SCI FI channel who took the odd and unusual and make it normal...now seems to be a corporate shell run by non-techno suits more interested in numbers and dollars than staying the course. Beware SCI FI, Enron was first, WorldComm next. Don't get caught in the frelling numbers games. Remember who you are and who you broadcast to.

To the cast and crew of Farscape:
Thanks for all the fantastic episodes you've given to us so far.
Hopefully we will succeed in our quest to save Farscape and we will have many more episodes to see and enjoy over the coming years.
Farscape is, by far, the best Science-Fiction program I have ever seen and I've seen just about all of them.
It would be a crime for us all to lose this wonderfuly, brilliant program.
Thank you all for the wonderful work you've done.

I just wanted to say that I am behind all of you, the cast and crew of Farscape. I've written several emails and letters to Sci-Fi and Showtime. You have made Farscape literally the best show on television, and we thank you so much for that. We, the fans, are not giving up on fixing this horrible situation, so please, you all don't give up either. We're with you until the end! Just a post to say thanks for the four years of hard work you guys put in! So much on TV is unorignal nowadays and I was thankful to find a show that dared be different. You've kept me going for the past few years, and as I watch less and less TV Farscape has always been there.

But recently TV has done nothing to keep me watching. Star Trek has just got worse and worse, Futurama and Babylon 5 both cancelled, before long I will have no reason to own a TV. I hope Farscape is that reason.

Thanks again!

Wow. What can you say? Well, I sent an email to Crackersdomatter@yahoo.com, so I won't reiterate too much, but I have to say, "YA'LL ROCK!"

You have been an inspiration to a new actor who wants to follow in your footsteps. You are so professional and it is obvious that there is love for each other and for the show in your little community in space. Thank you for a well done show, for the magic each week, and I look forward to Season 5! I've read enough books and spoken enough things into being to say, "If you speak it, you'll start to believe it, and when you believe it, you will do it!" Let me make it official:

"There will be a Farscape Season 5! If not on SciFi, then somewhere else. This Farscape Fan has spoken! We will be heard!"

Thank you so much for giving each of us a "window" to another place where we were able to laugh with you and cry with you, hurt with you, and celebrate your successes. I'm not just speaking about John or Aeryn or D'Argo, Chiana, Jool, Zhaan, and the "million dollar" puppets. I'm talking about Ben, Claudia, Anthony, Gigi, David K, Tammy, and so many more cast and crew. As television shows go, you are a cut above and I am so glad that I was able to sit there for just an hour out of each week and lose myself "where only John has gone before!" Ya'll (how often do you hear that now, Ben) ROCK! Thank you and I look forward to January and Season Five! Speak it and Be Heard!

To the Cast & Crew:

Your show is amazing, and I am a loyal viewer from season 1. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard the news. No Frelling Way! I had no idea this could happen to a show like Farscape, a show with such excellent ratings and a stable, growing fan base. If I've learned one thing from this, it's that no show is invulnerable.

I've written, called, faxed and emailed everyone I could get information on who might respond or be able to help. I've signed petitions and sent postcards. I'll keep doing so until I get results. I've been a part of fan campaigns to save shows before (Roswell, Brimstone, etc.). Roswell's was especially successful, garnering the show 2 extra seasons, but from the incredibly overwhelming sense of outrage I am witnessing on the net, I predict that the Save Farscape campaign will put other campaigns to shame. I believe that Scaper's everywhere will agree with me when I say that this will be the one that tops 'em all, the campaign to end all campaigns. We scapers will not give up without a fight.

Ben, this is to you. I think you are one of the best actors on television. I work for a large insurance brokerage in Charlotte, NC, and I've met your brother, Mark. I remember reading an article in the Charlotte Observer about how your family was from Charlotte. One day your brother came into our office to do business with some of our brokers. He gave me his card to introduce himself and I saw the name. He looked very much like you and after a few nervous moments I worked up the courage to ask him "the question". He was very polite and personable and not at all standoffish. We discussed the show very briefly and I tried not to make too much of a fool of myself as I told him how much I admire you and the show. He admitted that he watched, too. Later, several months down the road when he returned to do some more business, we both expressed dismay at Zhaan's demise. I still carry his business card in my wallet.

Guys, just know that we care and will continue to keep up the good fight on behalf of the show. Don't give up!

I don't know what to say. Farscape has made my Friday nights worth staying home for the past 4 years. I remember seeing the initial trailers for the show back before season 1 started and knowing from 30 seconds of footage that this was something special.

I've never fought to save a program before -- in other cases it was "just tv." But Farscape is something more. My wife and I already have sent 8 letters, emailed dozens of times, and left voicemail messages.

Your work is important to us -- it proves that television can be art. John Crichton is the best-written hero on TV. Aeryn, D'argo, Chiana, Rygel, Pilot, Moya, Crais, Scorpius, Sikozu, Zhaan, Braka, Grayza, Stark, Talyn and even 1812 are all so well-defined ... even shows network shows like Buffy, 24, and Enterprise can't compare.

Farscape is a show that draws devotion like no other. Its fans are more passionate than any fans I've encountered over the years. In many ways it is for this generation what Star Trek was for earlier ones -- and it would seem that Sci Fi is killing it in its prime just as NBC tried to do with Star Trek.

But unlike the Trek fans, we've got John as a model. And when did John Crichton ever back out in the face of insane odds? We're spending all our time fighting Sci Fi about this -- letting them know that we love Farscape and we won't accept their decision, and telling other networks how much we love the show. We love you guys, your commitment to your fans, and your devotion to telling incredible stories.

No matter what happens, I will follow the careers of the writers and actors and other talented people who make Farscape what it is. More than any other company, the Henson Company's work had an incredible impact on me as a child. Sesame Street, the Muppet Show (and films -- especially the original film), the Dark Crystal and Labrynth. As a teenager, it was the Storyteller that captured my imagination. And as an adult, it's Farscape. For some reason, Henson produces television and film that transcends its genres -- all its characters, even the muppets, seem like real breathing human beings.

I often say to my wife: "Wow, that little guy they've got playing Rygel is a really *good* actor." It's sad to think that after March we may never see him again.

Thanks for everything. We *will* win this. But on chance that we don't, you guys are the best. Your work is appreciated.

To Jim Hensen, Rockne O'Bannon, David Kemper, and the rest of the production staff - THANK YOU for continuing to provide a quality show, unrivaled in the history of SF Television.

To the cast of Farscape, you have left an indellible impression on myself and many fans across the world. Thank you for your hard work, both in and out of prosthetic make-up, and for the delightful characters whose stories will one day be tied up in a manner befitting this great story.

Some fans in Seattle, Washington:

At first we saw the shows as they debuted on Sci-Fi in the first season.

Then we began talking about them in the office, and by the coffee machines, and in the hallways.

Lately we've been gathering in front of our television, as a group, to watch the newest shows. It's become an event, and we're never left without a lot of gasps, laughter, and disappointement (when the episode is over, that is). We promise the wake will be a good one

Cheers!

I really enjoy the show, although it took me a little while to realize it. When the only show you watch is Farscape- hint! I'm an ex-proffesional who now stays home with a lot of smart energetic kids who used to send their teachers to therapist. Not having a therapist myself- it's nice to unwind with Farscape. It doesnt insult my intelligence, like the people who are trying †o repair my car, or the people who tell me that I NEED the latest gadget-(or my country needs me to buy the latest gadget out of patriotism- grrr!) Even the energy ball kids, and the overworked spouse leave me alone on Friday nights. I don't need three hundred channels of crap. The lack of intellectual stimulation will reduce me to childlike language limited to, "go potty", "flush", "watch out for cars, "come here NOW", "no, you may not," and "if Tommy jumped off the roof would you do it, too?" Nag, nag, vetch.

My children may not watch Farscape until they are older- but they are going to write short letters. "Please don't take mommy's show away." Unfortunately, I cannot come up with a way to channel the totality of childish pathos over the mail. If only they could press the executives buttons they way they try to push mine. The "mommy voice' wont work in this case, but I intend to send them to the corner when I cancel my cable.

Perhaps Sci-fi has been consulting with John Edwards about their line-up.

I just want to add myself to list of people thanking you for all your hard work on this series.
I hope that you get to finish your story.
I can't express how much I've grown to love the characters on this program.
There aren't a whole lot of things that I really love and the universe you all have created is one of them.

:( To the cast and crew of the best Sci-Fi/Action Adventure/Fantasy show/Love story on television. I was so shocked when I heard the news, and I am only just getting my angry socks on now.

I have faith that the show will go on, and I am prepared to do what I can to make that a reality. You guys only need to let us all know what that is, and we will try to move heaven and earth to get it done. Your fans are loyal and true and we are here for you, to support you, and we love you guys...

For four years we have all taken so much from this wonderful show, and for those of us in Australia where it is not regularly scheduled, we have waited with baited breath for the DVD and video releases in the UK to be shipped here. (For us it was the only reason to get a multizone DVD player.)

So I just wanted to say THANK YOU ALL for bringing to the screen such warmth, humour, wonderful surprises, overwhelming performances, breathtaking sets, amazingly real puppets, fantastic costumes and makeup, and the some of the best FX shots in the industry.
From the ground up you guys ROCK.

Just say the word and we'll be there...

Have Faith!

It takes me awhile to think about what I want to say...so I've been pondering this whole cancellation fiasco for a few days. But I finally figured out how to best voice my support for Farscape, the show and the family. Here it is, sorry it's so long.

An Open Letter to TPTB at Sci-Fi and other significant mucky-mucks with decision-making powers:

I came late to this glorious family, but have become inextricably bonded to a unique and dynamic and frelling *interesting* show called "Farscape."

It's *your* fault (okay, and Matt Roush's too, from TV Guide, whose preview of the season 3 ending story arc made me curious in the first place).

You made the show available, and tempted me with "Farscape Undressed," which made it possible (and very EASY) to join this complicated masterpiece near the end of the third season as if from day one. (Which, by the way, I promptly ran out and bought on VHS...now working on the second season.) And then you so helpfully dedicated a chain-reaction day to the parts of season 3 that I had missed.

FINALLY!! I thought. A quality hour that actually made it worthwhile to watch TV on a Friday night. Heck, who needs to date when I can hang out with Crichton, Aeryn, D'Argo, Chi, Scorpy and even Rygel?

Now I am not your stereotypical image of a sci-fi fan, I'd bet. I am more normal and boring than oatmeal---a 30something middle school, middle class female history teacher from California. I make a decent wage for the hours I invest, and I choose to spend that income on things I enjoy (after rent and dog food for the bassett, of course).

So it seems to me....if "Farscape" averages over 900,000 viewers per ep (and that is partly due to the jaw-droppingly inane decisions made about lack of advertising, promotion, and appropriate time slot---but that's a different matter)...and costs are about $1.5 million per ep, you're spending $2 per viewer per ep.

Wow. That'll break your piggy bank. Hmmmm. $2 for a viewer GUARANTEED to turn up on your doorstep on a regular basis, because YOU HAVE WHAT THEY WANT.

The total expense, if your estimates are correct, would be about $50 per year per viewer---that GUARANTEED audience for your multitude of advertisers. That's what we're talking about here.

And if it is sincerely an issue about money, I bet you'd find most of us are willing to chip in (and already have, if you do your research...I believe the last amount I was aware of was $12,000 raised in 15 hours?).

Now I was already slightly miffed about the 16-week midseason hiatus (most people call that summer vacation, with a whole new YEAR to follow), and had made a conscious decision NOT to watch ANY Sci-Fi programming until "Farscape" returned in January (other than Farscape reruns, that is).

Quite frankly, you don't have anything else that I want to watch. The Dead Zone? I can see it on USA (where it is on at a more appropriate time slot, if I recall correctly---it should be on at 10pm or so, due to its more mature subject matter).

Stargate SG-1? Pales in comparison to the wit and creativity of Farscape. (And yes, the only reason its ratings are higher is due to the time slot. Put it on at 10pm and see how it does.)

Old classic sci-fi movies? Been there, done that. They aren't anything I'd pay my premium cable fees for. Pseudo psychics? Don't even get me started.

In all honesty, the best thing you had going for you was and IS Farscape. And it's not just me that thinks so. You have an AWARD-WINNING, highly rated (second in your network!!!), 100% class act series that could REAP you untold wealth in syndication after a full 100 episodes....and you decide to pull the plug. AFTER you had made a COMMITTMENT TO THE FANS who bring you the viewership your advertisers seek!

Now maybe it's all negotiating... a ploy of some sort. If so, you'd best hope we never find out about it. We already feel betrayed and slapped in the face. We're angry and depressed and confused and hurt, in case that hasn't been made clear. We have been honest and open with you, via our viewing habits and chat rooms and bboard posts, that we LOVE this show AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN MAKING IT.

If you haven't learned yet of the unique relationship between the Farscape cast & crew and those who watch the show, you've missed the main point.

You didn't just mess with our weekly entertainment. You messed with our FAMILY---upset them and made our family members cry...and we protect our own.

I can only promise this, for myself. I will not watch your channel---for ANY reason---until the rest of Farscape season 4 returns in January.

If that is indeed the ultimate fate of Farscape, to be cut down mid-storyline, irregardless of our feelings, then I will never watch your channel again, after the season 4 finale. It's a matter of principle now.

Steven Spielberg's new miniseries? So sorry, I'll be busy watching something else. Or reading a Farscape book.

Joss Whedon's "Firefly"? That will be painful, as I am a Buffy fan as well, but I won't watch it on your channel.

It didn't have to come to this. You could have stuck by your committment and our loyalty would have been yours. How hard is it to figure out, anyway?

Stargate SG-1 at 8 pm. Good family viewing (if boring).
Farscape at 9pm, its tried and true spot, appealing to both teens and their parents and other intelligent adults.
The Dead Zone at 10 pm, good for its more adult-content.

Now THAT would have been a Sci-Fi Friday to be proud of, and one that would have treated each show fairly.

I don't think you've heard the last from us. We aren't going anywhere---unless Farscape is picked up by another network, in which case we'll leave you in a heartbeat. But we won't be watching, either, unless you follow through on your proudly acclaimed committment, and give Farscape the fifth season it has *earned* for your network.

Farscape viewer ;)

To the cast and crew of Farscape:

A little over a year ago, I wandered into a Video Rental shop here in Japan and picked out the first few volumes of Farscape from the shelves. Skeptical (I had never heard of Farscape up to then), I headed home to watch them.

My interest was caught immediately and by the time I got to the episode "I, E.T." where John quibbs about the planet where Moya has taken refuge, "...or Dagobah", I've been hooked. Ever since, the latest video releases for Farscape available at this Video Rental shop are always out; I have to wait around a month before I get lucky enough to find one in.

While there is certainly a large population of foreigners in Tokyo, there are not that many in the area that I live to account for this. I've even seen a number of times, hopeful Japanese reviewing the shelf and cursing silently under their breath when the episode for which they were looking was out.

Personally, I've been drawn into the characters of the show. The writing has been very good and the way in which each of the cast reflect that into any scene is just extraordinary. Coming from a background in performing arts, where I understand the complexities of turning what's on page into something that moves the audience, I can not express enough my delight, appreciation, and admiration for how the cast and crew of Farscape do this superbly.

In my mind, without a doubt, I think the group at Farscape is the best out there today. Keep up the great work!

Finally, a personal Homer Simpson, "Woo hoo!" for the cast: I just adore you all equally - okay... well, maybe Aeryn a bit more, but then what guy wouldn't, right? At least as long as she doesn't try speaking English. :D

Peace. Out.

Farscape have been blessed with a fun and rapid dialog, a passionate cast, over the top special effects, a dareness and a never before seen wickedness in writing . We all now this and thats why we all watch it and thats also why Farscape captured me !

I've been watching the show for about 2 years now and I still get those suprised smiles on my lips. The keyword here is "quality". This is indeed rare, and that a show can last that long is because of this! I for one have never complained about a show being cancelled, but cancel the finest Sci Fi show on the planet is just to much !

A BIG congratulation to the people behind the Farscape Show, you have a bigger audience than you EVER can imagine and they (Sci Fi Channel) just woke the sleeping beast!

No matter how things go, regardless of where you go from here, to steal a line from D'Argo.. "We're your allies, WE WON"T ABANDON YOU!"

It is amazing how as a human being one can connect with a show, until it becomes a kind of necessity in ones life. The characters in a way become friends, you come to care about their lives, and needs. This I attribute to the incredible cast, all of whom have indeed become friends with the fans of Farscape.
nay, not friends.. Pray more family.

There was a night in October of 1999 (the 11th to be exact ) where after a fashion I had the honour of talking to Claudia via the Farscape message board. It was a On Board B-day party we were haveing for her. It was then and there I came to realize the calibur of cast we have for Farscape. They actually cared about their fans.. The only other 2 shows I know of that show that kind of intrest are Andromeda and Buffy. And Claudia, should you read this.. I hope I am so honoured again sometime.. :)

All we can do is carry this crusade as far as it will go and Hope..
because as John so neatly pointed out.. "It's all we have"

First - I want to thank all the co-creators of Farscape - the writers, directors, actors and crew - for consistently giving us one of the best shows ever on American television. For me and my friends, each week it has been like having an excellent scifi MOVIE (albeit somewhat shorter!) that we could count on for imagination, insight, and fun.
I congratulate you for setting an impressive new standard!

Some suggestions (possibly innovative, possibly unworkable) as to how you could carry on Farscape. beyond finding a new cable station to carry it.

-access the fan base for actual *investment dollars*. $5-$20 from 5-10 million fans would enable you to make one or two $50+ million movies -givea free matinee pass to each contributor, who would surely see the movie(s) more than once anyway - and your likelihood of making a profit is very high.

-do something similar, possibly through a cable channel, to do some miniseries of 2-5 episodes. Presell the DVD for additional cashflow. You can probably set this up so the creators, not the megacorps, make the bucks.

Scifi fans are hungry for more - and are willing and capable to cough up some bucks to see what they want to see. It's time to decentralize as far as money is concerned, in order to support creative work - so please think out of the box on how to get Farscape to us. The world is ripe for innovative approaches to funding creative content!

Just want to take a moment to let you all know how much you mean to me and to my family and friends.....Farscape is very much a part of our lives, not only as our favorite show, but also because of the friends I have made because of it....on the BB, in chat, and esp in real life, through ScaperCons and other get togethers.....what an amazing and wonderful bunch of people have come into my life as a result of this show...

We love you, support you, and are fighting for you....please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers....and that we will continue to do our best to keep the show on the air for another season...either at SciFi or somewhere else!! Whether in front of the camera, or behind it....in whatever capacity, I have never seen such a talented, intelligent, incredible bunch make such magic...and take us along for the ride!!!

Thank you....

:) Dabee (Iggy sends hugs and kisses to you all!)

I sent a message through the Yahoo address, but I'd like to say here in this forum that we are really pulling out the stops for our Farscape family in Australia. I expect to be seeing another season of the Moya gang AT THE VERY LEAST and I will not stop pushing until I get it!!

Thank you all for the passion, imagination, talent and heart that you all have put into this show. It's so great to know that there is (notice I said IS) a television show out there that folks both behind the scenes and in front of the tv sets are so damn proud to be a part of. We'll get this show back for you, we vow it!!

Hugs to all,
Suse

I have never written or sent an e-mail to a televison show in my life. I am honored that Farscape is my first. I have loved this show since the beginning. All of you are so full of passion and talent and it shows every week. I am so angry and frustrated about them even thinking of taking such an original show off the air. I have been at my computer every day sending messages to anyone I can get through to and I won't stop until they have come to their senses or until someone is smart enough to pick up this great show. I know all of you are hurting, so are all your fans. Know that we all care about you and the show. We will keep fighting. I can't tell you how upset I am, but I have hope. Thank you so much for a great ride. Here's to more to come.

Just wanted to agree wholeheartedly with all the previous posts on this topic.

I'm from the UK and I don't think I can even come close to some of the poetic and elegent posts that this mail follows.

What I would like to say is this:

Never before have I been so moved as to actually sign up to a message board to write a message like this. Never before have I actually taken the time to write messages to a TV channel over a program cancellation (and there have been a few this year). Never before have I spent so much time at work checking the internet for news of a TV show.

My messages to SCIFI where honest and concise and I only hope they will listen to us all. Friends who had never seen Farscape took the p*** out of me over Farscape and I asked them to watch a single episode and then judge me. Most of them watched an episode and fell in love with the show as I have.

Never before has such a talented cast been given such strong storylines and amazing direction.

Farscape has taken Science Fiction to a new level, it has raised the bar and everthing else is now aiming to catch an uncatchable target. If it dies, so does Science Fiction TV.

My first memory of Farscape was channel hopping through the limited UK channels and ending up on a program with weird aliens and a cocky, humorous human. For some strange reason I was unable to change the channel, unable to stop watching this compulsive program. I have been hooked ever since. Even with the poor UK scheduling I have made sure that I did not miss an episode and have purchased every DVD.

Series 4 is due to start in the UK in a couple of weeks. This should have been a time of celebration for me. Now I feel kind of empty.

I hope behond hope that Farscape will continue, with or without SCIFI. TV is already full of of un-original programs designed to appeal to the masses (ie the MTV generation). Originality should be encourage, especially by a channel that is by design catering for a cult audience.

To the cast: Thank you!!! Thank you for giving me the best TV program that I have ever seen in my 27 years on this earth. Thank you for showing that Sci-Fi programs can still be original and can still appeal to people who don't generally watch Sci-FI. Thank you for four wonderful years of unrivalled quality in TV programming. Thank you to the actors, script writers, set designers, special effects people, directors and anyone and everyone else I may have forgotten to mention!

Be strong people. We're are having an effect. We are winning(and will win) this if we just keep up the current level of pressure.

Never give in. Don't let the frelling suits win!

Farscape is amazing in how many emotions it has portrayed, you never know what type of episode is going to come next. Farscape is the most entertaining show I have ever seen, and I'm sure that holds true for many other on this board. It is a work of pure imagination and originality in a society dominated by "the norm" such as reality shows and sitcoms. I want to let all of the crew know (which they should by now:) ) that you have support from many fans and that we won't let Farscape get canceled without a fight. You have entertained us for years, and maybe it's a little selfish of us fans, but we want you to keep on doing an awesome job of entertaining us. We hope that you can all keep your jobs and have a fun time doing it!:aok:

:grr: i have to agree, farscape needs to continue no matter what it takes. I haven't looked forward to viewing a television show like this since i was a kid. It is the one single show that is a must see for me each week. The cast, the effects and the story lines far are the what the rest of the networks need to judge their own works by. If this show slips by the wayside it would be a crime, we are all behind the cast and I think most of us would do almost anything to see the show continue.
