A spinoff with Ben at the helm... im sorry, but would it be a J?A spinoff when they stillhave so much to do with the other characters? Honestly, I think calling it a spinoff, like Farscape CC or some BS tag at the end, but keeping it mostly the same with some new players would keep it Farscape while allowing SciFi to say "We picked up the NEW series" rather than "We changed our minds and brought Farscape back"


at least that is what makes the most sense to me, and what I'd like to be the case the most. What has made Farscape work is not only the energy of Browder, but the other characters as well, especially Chi, Rygel, D'argo and of course Aeryn. We all like Scorpius but in the end his role could be minimized, sikozu isnt central, stark certainly isnt, and even pilot and sadly moya could be ditched and the show would still be good.

I say this because Rygel adds an extra depth and humor to the show and you want to see his story finished. Chiana could go, but she adds something distinctly alien and sexy, as well as innocent, a strange mix, but its why she is so popular. D'argo... i dunno, I like D'argo alot, especially S4 D'argo, but I could see the show without him if only John had some other male counterpart, but the fact is, that is a large part of his role, being John's friend.

I don't know, I have said from the news the show was returning in the form of a mini, that they were setting us up for something. What? I have always made an arguement that they were planning to re-focuse the show on John and Aeryn. Ben and Claudia's chemistry is amazing and if some intelligent writers could harness that and make John and Aeryn's relationship fresh and interesting every week, then you could have a major hit on your hands.

The problem is there is so much more to farscape than just john and aeryn, the other characters need their due, and how many shows just focus on one couple, mainly? Felicity? Gimme a break.
