I was on eBay when I stumbled on a new pic of Chiana... holding two knives? :eek:

I heard some people here complaining that Chiana is still basically wearing the same costume given to her in season 2. However, from the appearance of this pic, she definitely looking a lot more dangerous.

Gigi looks awesome. Her wig is a lot flatter though. I prefer it this way. It looks a lot more natural. :cool:

And why does her costume have to change? Chiana is Chiana, they figured that out in season two and gave her a costume that is Chiana. She's changed, but she's still Chiana.

As for the costume point, Chiana is unique indeed; however, what Chiana also happens to be is a character with a unique look no other has ever had. To make the most of it would entail fresh regular costuming, IMH. And where's that Chiana calender!? :p

I've heard many ideas from many folks for utilizing that look with fresh costuming and have noticed the variety that has been tried on occasion in the series. Some of the best untried ideas include silver, and the series has briefly shown us that white, blue and black and red all have good effect. All of it leads me to my humble that Chiana can offer a much richer variety of unique looks then we were priveledged to see, and therefore I would like to have seen / want to see some fresh regular cossies.

Also, a more key point really; given that movement is one of her key aspects, any and all outfits tried should naturally allow an ease of movement. Yet the costume she's spent a good majority of the series in, oddly enough, seems kinda thick/hard... it seems like it'd be a bit discouraging to move in, instinctively reducing her movement work to the more deliberate, precalculated of movements. Her original outfit was more freely pliable and to my senses, she did seem freer, more instinctive in movement at times. Now, we are talking real subtle differences, but I think it's in there. Well that's my honest opinion on the whole shebang, I think it's about on the money but nobody need agree.

Chiana's hair, makeup and eyes are being experimented with, although they weren't something that is desirable to change, in my humble. Those aspects properly done are essential parts of Chiana's look, unlike the changeable costuming. That's not be confused with implying I don't wanna see this or I've got issues, I am eagerly looking forwards to seeing what they came up with. If the hair eyes and makeup must be altered, and there is a story reason this time, we may hope, it looks like it is being done right.

The promos are good - just - except that first one of her weilding what looks like a blade and a bar: that one is great! Absolutely great pic... definitely makes one wanna tune in and see what's up! :D Thanks very much for the posting :)
