Oops, Britney's Engaged
ET has confirmed that BRITNEY SPEARS is engaged to backup dancer KEVIN FEDERLINE. Yes, the 22-year-old is ready to walk down the aisle again, but this time she's apparently going to take a more traditional route. Her 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to childhood friend JASON ALEXANDER ended in an annulment. Federline has been by Britney's side as she recovers from arthroscopic surgery on her knee, which forced her to cancel the remainder of her Onyx Hotel Tour. Marrying Federline will also make Britney a step-mom -- he has a 2-year-old with actress SHAR JACKSON, who's also currently pregnant with his second child.
Our STEVEN COJOCARU chatted with Britney last February following her first short-lived marriage. At that time the pop star said: "Honestly, I really wanted to see what it was like to be married," she revealed. "Maybe that sounds silly, but, in that moment, I was with a friend that I love dearly and I wanted to do something wild and crazy and I wanted to get married. So that's why I did it."
People magazine has the exclusive on the story and the couple is expected to do the a new interview and cover shoot for next week's issue.

she can't--the air in her head can be used as a hot air balloon that can inflate when she pushes her belly button.

She likes them dancing boys! Either her or Jay-Low will beat out Liz in the husband category - wait and see!
What was Liz up to 8? There's a law after that isn't there? Like, you've used up too many men!

ELIZABETH TAYLOR is America's most famous serial spouse, perhaps because her eight unions included seven colorful husbands. Her first, Nicky Hilton, was heir to the Hilton Hotel chain. Next came actor Michael Wilding and then producer Michael Todd, who was killed in a 1958 airplane crash (in a plane he called The Lucky Liz). Todd's friend Eddie Fisher caused a Hollywood scandal by divorcing actress Debbie Reynolds to become Taylor's fourth husband. Taylor then left Fisher for Richard Burton, possibly her most famous love affair -- the two were married twice, from 1964-74 and 1975-76. Husband #6 was John Warner, later a U.S. senator from Virginia. Taylor met her seventh husband, construction worker Larry Fortensky, while being treated at the Betty Ford Clinic; they were married from 1991-1997.

Actress and gadabout ZSA ZSA GABOR has made something of a career of joking about her nine marriages; in 1970 she published a book titled How to Catch a Man, How to Keep a Man, How to Get Rid of a Man. Her first marriage came in 1937 to Turkish diplomat Burhan Belge. Her second husband was hotelier Conrad Hilton (father of Liz Taylor's second husband Nicky Hilton) and her third was the actor George Sanders. (Sanders later married Gabor's sister Magda.) Zsa Zsa's eighth marriage, to Felipe de Alba, was voided because her divorce from seventh husband Michael O'Hara was not final. In her 1991 book One Lifetime Is Not Enough Gabor also notes that the de Alba marriage was performed by a captain at sea but not in international waters as required by law, making it doubly invalid. (In the same book she claims she had a fling with Richard Burton before Burton married Taylor.) Gabor married her ninth husband, Prince Frederick von Anhalt, in 1986 -- nearly 50 years after her first wedding.

I am so indoctrinated to Farscape, skiffy and a certain person :bonnie: who says outrageous stuff about sci-fi viewiers, that she often has her mouth open just long enough to change feet, that I thought this thread was about another one of her faux pas!

Lol, you'd think that from the vehemence shown here that Britany had personally wronged each of you. I have started a new motto today after all the strong emotions directed at various other shows at the Boston Con: I will never again hate a fictional character as I don't see the point. Essentially all actors fall into that realm as what I know of them and what is presented to me by the media is so rarely grounded in fact that it is probably fictional in all but base foundation.
I am starting a new group: AFCH (Against Fictional Character Hatred).
I declare the AFCH part of the Greater Neoantiantidisestablishmentarianists's Movement
