This is my psychotic cat, Trixie.

http://img36.photobucket.com/albums/v110/starsgoblue/Critters/trixie.jpg

She's nuts. :g2f:

Every morning, after she tries to trip me by running between my feet, she sits down in front of the closet door (it's mirrored floor-to-ceiling), meows, spins around in a circle, stares up at the ceiling, licks her shoulder, meows again, spins around again, and then takes off running down the hall.

I have no frelling clue why. There aren't any spiderwebs or interesting things to look at on the ceiling, or the closet door. She licks like she's all twitchy, but she gets her flea treatment once a month and so I know it's not that.

It's only in the mornings. :dunno:

I'm telling you, she's a fruitloop. :lol

Well, that certainly beats my cat's newest feat hands down... the one where the plump raccoon-like strange-o ran after a taunting German Shephard that came into the yard the other day, and chased it away! :lol

My cat's a tool. He is scared of his meow, cant jump up on stuff for the life of him, is scared of birds, won't stop eating, and doesn't clean his back at all (it gets all dirty and clumpy).

But he is really sweet and follows us around like a puppydog. He is not your standard loner cat and is always following us and laying down whereever we are. You can also never go to the bathroom without him following you. He figures a person sitting down is in the perfect position to give him a rub.

my cat is crazy right now.. earlier she was runnin around like a bat outta hell but then she could just be hungry too.. and its kinda funny too... run around the room. sit on either the chair, couch or AC. look around and does the same thing again.

One of my two cats, the girl Baby Kitty, will ONLY pee on puppy pee pads. Used to be that she'd pee on bathroom floor rugs. Thankfully we were housebreaking our dog when she decided against using the cat box, thankfully I found that the pee pads work just as well for her insanity.

The boy cat, Looney, chases shadows and eats my hair while I sleep. He knows that there's a good chance I'm going wake up and shove him off the bed for the hair thing, but he tries anyway. That is sooo aggravating (I must have spelled that wrong!).

lol... and yet we love our little furballs.

Btw, did you know that cat's have a neo-cortex and dogs don't? Thats why dogs don't exhibit creative behavior and cats do.

My friends cat Zoe lives with me as well. Both Zoe and Looney prefer to eat with an audience. They will chase you meowing, making you think that they need food, but when you get to the food bowl they stop and eat. Looney (his food bowl is in the bathroom) will eat until you get in the shower and then wait for you to get out of the shower to resume eating.

They are so freaking weird. But you're right, we do love them. I had never heard that about the neo-cortex. Interesting....

"My" cat (and I use that term loosely, she's a stray) is nuts. If she isn't fed right away
she goes into an actual hissy-fit! She gets angry, hisses, runs in a circle, stamps her feet, and will try to claw at my ankle if I go back into the house to get her food.
I hiss right back at her and she chills.

Btw, did you know that cat's have a neo-cortex and dogs don't? Thats why dogs don't exhibit creative behavior and cats do.That really interesting. I have often thought that my cat was making up games to amuse himself. Out of the blue he would act like he had just seen something that needed chasing down, hunkered down and get ready to pounce. Then he would be off, like a mad thing, but whenever you looked to see what it was, there would be nothing there.

There would be other times whe he seems so absorbed in doing "something", that when you would go over to look at what he was up to, and disturb him, he would look around with a startled look on his face as if to say, "who me, nah, I wasn't up to anyting, damn she caught me", and pad off grumbling to himself. (Yes he really does grumble, it really funny)

mmm, yes that would be the frighteningly subtle experiment she is doing on you... :D

Our cat DoDo is a dodo. He looks like a dalmation, drools like one too. Farts that would rival Rygel.

The picture of Doobie II looked to me like a big old lap cat, that you would be afraid to make get off your lap!! (LOL) Soyarma said he was a big ole flop anywhere just to be in your way cat.

The line about the cat farting made me think about when my mommy cat was pregnant, she jumped up on my ex-wifes chest, did an about-face, and audibly farted. It almost made my ex sick. I laughed until I was sick. My ex then told me that being pregnant does strange things to your body.

Doobie II used to fart whenever you picked him up. Until he passed a bit of dental floss. lol Now he only farts when he's nervous.

Here is an encore of Doobie II since Soy's great crash of 2004.

My boys are a bit on the froggy side, too. Tigger is pretty much glued to me.

Smokie is the Alpha male. He's the only one that begs for food since he eats first. If you are asleep he gets right up into your face and meows while purring and gently patting at your face with his paw. If you open your eyes, you're done. He won't go away at that point. He will give up if you play possum.

Another good one is that they are littermates and like to bathe each other. One will get upset because he is having trouble licking his brother. This invariably leads to a wrestling match.

On the subject of cat bodily functions, Smokie is not big on burying his waste. He stinks himself out of the box and goes tearing around the house with his tail crooked over, hind legs moving together like a jack rabit and making this strange, brrr-rrr-rrr noise. It's really hard to describe. Here's a pic of their brotherly love.
