I feel depressed. I am trying to collect all of the Farscape magazines and I keep getting outbid by dealers for really high prices on Ebay. I know they are worth it but ......sob. :( My husband did buy me some of the issues for my birthday but it cost him $40.00. Alot when you have alot of bills. It was for my birthday this Sunday.
Do you guys feels bummed out sometimes too? I really hate getting older too.

I cope with getting older. I just turned 43, but I don't feel old.
I know what you mean about Farscape stuff being expensive. I would like to get the action figures, but they mainly seem to be available on E-bay or a few specialized scifi merchandise sites and are pretty expensive. Supply and demand I guess, since they aren't making more. I have been hoping that with the release of the mini-series there will be more Farscape merchandise released, at regular retail prices.

I've seen the dealers going after the action figures too. I wouldn't mind getting some of them too but they are expensive. Maybe the mini will change that. People keep saying I'm old, I guess I should ignore them. I will be 42. Can you believe that the magazines some of them are going for $30-40?

Yeah, that's alot for a magazine. Luckily I got most of the Farscape magazines when they first came out, as soon as I found out about Farscape. I missed the first issues though. If you have some of the Farscape magazines, there are often ads from the publisher to order back issues. If they still have them, they might be cheaper than E-bay etc. You would have to pay in British pounds though and probably pay shipping.

The issues I am looking for, Titan the publisher no longer publishes. They still publish issue #1 but not 3 or 4. Which is what I am looking for. Those two issues keep going for between $30.00-40.00 on ebay must be hard to get I guess.

Is it more expensive buying from the US where you're at? Often the sales I want are in the UK and I cannot afford them either. I sympathize. :bawl: I guess the dealers can afford them though. I started collecting the magazines close to when they were being discontinued. Sirona, what kinds of things are you finding hard to get? or anyone else for that matter.

So things are more expensive for Canadians to buy in the USA? I didn't know that. I always thought it was the other way around.

scaperbuddy the xchange is ~ 1.31CAD = 1.00USD on top of that, the CDN Banks mark up it a couple of cents plus service charges.
