Hey gang!

Did ya miss the Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars promo? Or perhaps you just want to see it again, up close and on your computer where you can pause and nitpick and discuss? :-D Well the Sanctuary is happy to give you your chance! Go here:

Check halfway down the page, in the "Extras" section, and you can download either a (very large) mpg or wmv file of the promo! The files are large because I wanted high quality.

Lauren's site is getting hit pretty hard. I wasn't even able to get a copy. However I grabbed one afterwards and made two rips of it. A medium and a low quality copy (I'll do a high quality one in a bit).

Ok. They just showed it again. I was hoping that they'd show it more than once! Nothing very spoilerish but still gets you excited! No words like the Earthsea promo. Just visuals and music. Can't wait until October!!!!!!!

The 720x480 rip I made from my Tivo has been in my filesharing directory for a day, and I've spat out copies to 50 people, which is pretty good for my limited upload... :)

Using xvid+mp3, the trailer is <3MB at extremely high quality...

don't mess about with codecs when you can download videolan (VLC) from here

it's an excellent open cource (freeware) movie player & it plays almost everything i've ever thrown at it, without the need to download codecs.

Hey gang!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I kinda got SWAMPED trying to keep my site up an running!

Here's the deal. I knew the promo would be a popular download, and I usually don't have a bandwidth problem OR any problem with too many visitors (my site's been up for a while, I know the usual traffic and pay accordingly :-D ) But what I didn't expect was for it not to end up elseware just as fast.

See...I really kinda thought it'd be up all OVER the place and I'd be one of many sites carrying it. Though that is now the case, I kinda...underestimated...how quickly Scapers would flock to the promo. :eek:

Anyway if you go now to scaper.com it's still a bit slow, but should provide some better bandwidth downloading. And two quick messages to everyone here:

1) THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your help! I know a bunch of you were making suggestions, I don't want you to think I was ignoring you, I just got REALLY busy and couldn't come here!

2) If you want the promo, TAKE IT! Put it up anywhere you'd like. I'd like credit for the originial capture, but otherwise it's up and available for anyone to take.

I finally cleaned some of the dren off my computer, so at last the download's working. I didn't see the promo when it aired - I dunno, I just can't get into Stargate. So in another minute or two, I'll be able to die happy, too. Or not. I think I'll follow Jeff's and Farsight's advice and wait until AFTER the mini to do that.
