oh wow...imagine the whole miniseries on a whole wall! with 5.1 surround sound where the speakers can be set on -5 and still be loud enough to hear from outside!!

Mpeg's usually work with Quicktime- which I have and it doesn't recognize the format on this one... :shrug: :irate: :(

I made the downloads into zips so you dont have to right click on them anymore.

I just recorded the last 2 hours of scifi in a higher quality, so I'll hunt through it and find the fully trailer to make a large swank rip.

May not get the high quality tonight. The full trailer wasn't played anytime in my high quality recording. Watching quantum leap now to see if it shows up again.

Yeah, I Tivo'd the late Stargate, but only got the shorter trailer...

If I see a higher quality version floating around, I'll let y'all know... :)

In the meantime, these downloads are great! If bandwidth becomes a problem, you might try using emule or bittorrent to distribute 'em...

Hmm, I compared the two trailers (because I'm a big dork)... :)

The two trailers have almost identical new content. The shorter one is missing the stuff until right after "This October" appears on the screen - which is just the end of Bad Timing, and a single new shot of John and Aeryn... but the shorter one replaces that shot with a new shot of Aeryn (and "friends") that seems more interesting...

I think I'll rip the short trailer off of the Tivo... :)

Now, I can upload a Xvid vresion of MPG 20MB Medium file which i did to save scape on my hard disk. The file is 4,3 MB big and is with the same quality.Is there a place here where I can put the clip or i'll have to try elsewhere?

Problem solved, my old skool media player ate through those errors like the whiny little wanna be bitches they were.

Frell! I tried saving to my desktop....and it says it will take 2 hours and 9 minutes! Damn f*cking dial up!! Don't they know us hill folk live in houses by now, with flush toilets!! I want my dsl......ah well, I'll take what I can get. Suddenly 32" doesn't seem big enough for Farscape! A huge movie screen sounds much more satisfying. Ok I'm getting an error message with Quicktime saying that a software componet needed to show the movie is missing. Can I convert the file to Media Player somehow. Quicktime is always giving me troubles.

Well good news I managed to fix my Quicktime Player. Bad news is not untill after i tried getting the zips to play on Media. So the only trailer I can see is the one with the Quicktime behind it 24 MB. The rest keep going back to Media and when try taking them to Quicktime, Quicktime won't recongize them. Anyway to fix that so I can see both trailers?

Are there any versions of the promo that don't need to be downloaded? I know that bandwidth is a problem, but I'm thinking that if I post a link on a non-Farscape board (like the WB), very few people will be curious enough to download a big file, but they might just be willing to watch if it's immediately available. And I would defy anyone to watch that promo and not get interested.
