SciFi Presents Farscape: The Lowdown - they should do this

I don't know if they will do this but they should. For those of you not "in the know" with new SciFi originals/movies and theatrical movies (Van Helsing, for example), they sometimes do little specials about the shows before they're on, Called: "Show/movie name": the lowdown. They usually give some background on the show/movie and some other info (like cast and origin/some making of).

Anyway, I think Scifi should do one for farscape, to get newer fans more familier with Farscape before the mini airs (and maybe show some new clips). I think it's a great idea but there's probably no way to get SciFi interested in time for the mini.

What do you guys think? bad idea? Can we spread the word to Scifi?

Yes, they need to do this.

In the case of Farscape, they did one before season 3, entitled "Farscape Undressed".

We need "Farscape Undressed, Part II". (or maybe "Farscape the Morning After"? ... O.K., forget I said that)

They did it for Stargate and Battlestar Galactica. Maybe they will for Farscape as Galactica was a mini.

I don't know about this. Would it be fun? Yes. I do want it to happen but what yoy guys are forgetting is that Van Helsing (Universal), HUlk (Universal), Riddick (Universal), BSG (SCIFI aka Universal), SG-1(SCIFI aka Universal. If I recall scifi was not part of the production and woulld not have had a documentary crew. It could be done in some capacity I am sure. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Being as SciFi didn't spend any money in producing the mini, rather, they bought it after it was filmed, I don't see them 'wasting' their hard earned money on clarifying Farscape to the world. Brian's made a point to say that the mini would be assessable to newbies. Thus, I don't see SciFi giving us more. Much is the pity.

Sci-fi did do a low down on the Battlestar Galactica mini and unless you watched it in 1979 you wouldn't know much about it and they had the lowdown on it so people could learn about it. They also had Farscape undressed. So maybe they may do a lowdown on Farscape. Who says Sci-fi would finance it? Maybe Henson might make his own lowdown before the mini for the newbies. Henson wants the mini to be successful you know.

Henson could make it and SciFi could edit it, or maybe Henson could just make their own and have it air on SciFi (and SciFI should welcome that idea, more exposure, better ratings, blah blah blah).

I just sent them a email about this, and I sent my "get Ben on Leno" suggestion yesterday. If everyone on this forum did that I think we would get some feedback/what we ask for :D
