I had an old Overstreet Guide from 10-15 years ago, and I was thinking about getting the latest edition (34th?). But, I've been hearing that the Malloy/Wells Guide may be better (or a good companion piece). I don't have many comic books, a few dozen from the 70s that weren't of much value 12+ years ago, but just curious nonetheless. (why I've been using the word "nonetheless" so much lately I have no idea)

Also, I DO have a LOT of old Trading Cards (baseball, football, hockey, KISS (the band), Kung-Fu (the TV series), and a few others from the 70s) --- all protected in binders and acid-free sleeves. I was wondering what guide(s) would be good to get for them.

Wizard used to be a decent guide for the cards... they typically over valued their comic books though.

Overstreet is what a lot of collectors use for values.

Miller/Thompson and Frankenhoff/Bickford were a couple other guides on Amazon that were mentioned as of decent quality and info. Any thoughts on those or the Malloy/Wells?

For non-sports cards I use a mag called "Non-Sport" I have the latest issue from June/July 2004

Oh and "Beckett" for sports cards. I think they have mags for each separate sport and mags that have a compliation of all sports in it.

I know I don't have the complete KISS and Kung Fu set, but i do have quite a few of them. My hockey cards include the Flyers Stanley Cup card from either '73 or '74 (I think '74). I have to have my Dad ship them out to me (they're in a couple large binders). I'm curious to know what I've got (card-wise & value-wise). Mostly baseball, football & hockey.

Thanx, LiLO & g!
