Space Boards Down?

The SPACE board's been acting wierd today. Earlier in the day, had I not known better, I'd have sworn I was on a 1200 baud modem, ah, back to my uni days... ;)

hmm ok. kansas won't work for me and neither do the space boards. i was going to suggest that if neither worked for you, then if they used the same software to host the boards, that would be why.

but since kansas works for you, i'm not sure what is going on.

Hey Kurt!

Yes, the Space forums(and the entire site it seems now! :( )are down. I noticed around the early afternoon(from work) that it was getting very slow. Then around 4pm-5pm that I could not get into the forums there.

I am wondering if they are upgrading(I hope) or they might have been hacked(like here :( ) or perhaps just the size of all the threads in total outweighed their capacity and they crashed. I sent them an e-mail earlier asking about it, but I have not heard anything back yet. Knowing them, they are hard at work trying to bring it back for us.

I have to say Kurt, that was a cool picture of you in the calender. :D

When I used it for my sigpic in the Space forums, it automatically resized itself from the original size(my entire background). Would it automatically resize it here as well? :)

Just to let everybody know, the Space Board is having similar problems to what happened the other day. It is really slow, and for a little while I got the 'cannot find server' message. :(
