Hey, how cool is this? I just found out that my sister-in-law used to be a good buddy of Kent McCord. Last week I finally got my brother to sit down and watch some Farscape with me. I started with the pilot ep and I happened to mention as it was starting that Kent McCord was in it.
"Really?" he says. Then he explained that his wife, who used to work for the Screen Actors' Guild in LA, knew Kent really well. Seems he has always been a very active SAG union member, and she got to know him and work pretty closely with him then. (If you look on his website, in the gallery, there's pictures of him proudlyl on strike with his fellow SAG members. And no, my sister-in-law isn't in the pictures.) So that puts me two degrees of separation from, well, everyone on Farscape!
And BTW, after we finished watching the pilot, my brother asked if we could watch another episode. Another convert!!
