Rockne S. O'Bannon is Responsible
****************************
The other day we were thinking, "Where did it all start?"
Was it TaScape? If so, does that mean that DebP and the TaScape crew are responsible?
Or did it start with San Diego Scaper Patti (PKGirl) convincing Buck to go to TaScape?
Or was it Jean Orrico who, with Anthony Simcoe, gave Buck a good reason to return to Australia?
Was it Gigi for getting Buck so inextricably entranced with Farscape? (For Buck, everything always seems to come back to Gigi, doesn't it?)
Could it have been Brian Henson, David Kemper, and Ricky Manning who endowed the Farscape universe with such wonder and excitement that it completely captivated both Buck and Jennie's imaginations?
While all of these great people had a hand in bringing Buck and Jennie together in one way or another - truly the credit must go to Rockne S. O'Bannon, who started it all..
Buck's two trips to Australia in three months; Jennie's crazy plan to visit a boy in the US she hardly knew...
We bet you were all wondering what would come of all that traveling..??!!!
On the eve of the summer solstice - before a twinkling backdrop of fireflies - and, after talking with Jennie's parents, Buck finally put the golf course he's lived on for ten years to use!!
Then, on the 4th July, after fireworks had sparkled across the sky, Buck gave Jennie a sparkly of her own!
For those of you who are too oblivious to figure it out, this means that Buck proposed to Jennie, and Jennie said yes!
So.now what?!!
Well, plans are in the works for a dual hemisphere celebration. Though the dates are yet to be determined, festivities in the North will occur some time between October and December 2004, and Down Under most likely in April 2005.
Farscape, and in a way all of you, will be there when we make it official.
See ya later mates,
Jen & Buck
