I have watched 14 episodes, 12 from season 1 and 2 from season 3, in the last 2 days. Days off + Box set = TV Overload. Do you think there is something wrong with me? Well something other than the obvious things like being a Farscape addict. I know some of my family is getting sick of hearing the Farscape intro song playing over and over  Oh, well, I guess I will just give in to my cravings :D
Man, I think I will watch a few more episodes before I go to work; I really need help. ;)

haha that's okay. I watched all three LotR movies in one sitting the other day. :)
PS-I have a friend in Victoria! :)
There's never too much Farscape. I, like you, have had days where all I did all day and night was watch Farscape. Once I even took a week off from work and spent the whole time watching Farscape, I think I ended up watching from season 1 thru the end of season 3 in 5 days. Welcome to the Farscape addiction, isn't it great!!!!

I average at least one episode a day. When I am cleaning my house I always plop in an ep in the dvd player. My favorite to vacum and mop to is SOD.

Nah, there's nothing wrong with you, at least not amongst us :bonk: ;) :D. It's everyone else that's nuts ;). When I found the show and got definitely hooked, the ep I saw was DWTB. I then proceeded to get the rest of the eps and saw them in less than a week and a half :bonk: :D...
Hey JL3, I've done that too, but I'm also waiting for the ROTK, extended edition. Oh boy, almost 12 hrs of LOTR!!! :D

I went through a long period when I would watch two episodes every morning before work. I wake up at 4:30 and don't leave for work until 6:30. Coffee and Farscape :aok:!

I just fast forward through the intro after the first ep. It cuts down on the complaints. :ewink:

I think my peak was 8 episodes in a sitting -- I did that more than once, and sometimes on consecutive evenings (unfortunately, work evenings, which meant zombified me at the office the next day :D). Yeah, it was kinda crazy, but I was in Farscape lust and needed to get all caught up!
So, Necron, of COURSE there's nothing wrong with you ;)
Oh, and I went to LotR Trilogy Tuesday, so I'm also guilty of watching all three of those movies in one day (but RotK was the theatrical release, of course)!

Oh, great, the mail man just came with my Season 2 box set. Back to the TV I go. Don't take that as disappointment, I just don't have enough time to watch it all right now. Oh, and even without the box set I watch it on Space every day, 5 days a week.

Last Friday night I watched Prayer through Bad Timing. My wife was awake for most of that.

I have done that soooo many times. When FarScape was only in it's first and second season, I would have a Farscape day and that day for me was Thanksgiving. I had taped them all up to that point and I would watch them back to back from morning to about 11:00 at night. (I am a bachelor and spend most holidays celebrating by myself. I prefer it that way) so I can get away with this behavior. After the DVD's came out, well I have watched the series up to the fourth season at least 6 or 7 times. Sometimes I feel a little self concious about it but!!!! WHen I start to get into it again, and what ever episode I am watching at the time starts one thought usually comes to my mind. Damn..... I really love this show...... and I really do. Looking forward to Scifi Prime on Friday nights while the show was aired really got me through a lot of rough time in my life. On the west coast through Directv it would air at 6:00 and 9:00 so I would watch the forst one at 6:00 and then watch it again while taping it the second time it played at 9:00. I guess in this respect I am a FarScape Fanatic.
I love this show.

Crazy as it sounds, I could watch only Farscape most days. I don't give a ropy dren about any of the latest TV shows right now. Yeah, I know, it's all Summer re-runs anyway, but Farscape is so much in a class by itself I'm still entertained, no matter which ep's I choose to watch.
I'll even watch the redux ep' on Fri. night, and then follow it with the next two or three ep's in order, afterwards. Which leaves me up until about midnight or so, before I go to Kansas & read or post comments on the redux ep'.
You are like a plague, Farscape, and you've seriously infected my life!!!

I'm so glad I found this thread. I was beginning to worry there was something wrong with me. I never even owned a dvd until I went and bought the entire run of Farscape. Sometimes I watch the same ep twice in one day. And then go read commentary. It's out of control. :(
The funny thing is that a lot of the people (friends, family) who once rolled their eyes at me are now watching Farscape on their own. We really MUST get this show back. The prospect of mass withdrawl is frightening.

I am a Farscape addict who watches alot of Farscape and sometimes it drives my husband crazy. He supports my habit by helping me buy the DVDS but it drives him crazy at times when I watch it for long periods of time. He does watch it too some but not like me.

At first it was just once a week.... you know, when Space was airing it on Fridays. Then I started taping, because... well, because.
I began to get panicky if I couldn't watch between Fridays, and I started calling all my friends for tapes and DVD's and anything. *sniff* I would borrow tapes and then not return them for months! *guilt*
Now.... now it is every day! :eek2: I can't get enough. I have seen them all. :fear: In order. :loco:
Sometimes ..... I even do marathons.
I NEED HELP!

There's no such thing as too much! When I first discovered FS DVDs I went into a frenzy (since I got hooked in S4, I had a lot to catch up on). I'd watch 5-6 episodes a day, staying up really late. Hasn't harmed me as far as I can see ;)

I watch them all in order and do marathons and sometimes I also watch a bunch of my particular favorites in a row. I also look at my John poster daily.

Well, I just watched 2 more episodes, so that is 16 over the last 30 hours or so  I just took enough time to eat and sleep while on days off and that's about it. Glad to see I am not wierd... well at least not wierd here at FMD. Well, need to get ready for work now, still have 6 more from season one set to go, and then 22 from season 2. I am watching season 3 on Space right now, so I want to get caught up as soon as possible.
rinnicbob: I am like you, I don't really care about 99% of TV shows. Other than Farscape, the only show that I watch regularly is JAG on Histroy Telivision. I like the show, but the main reason I watch is that it is on just before Farscape on Space

People think I am too Farscape obsessed. Do they ever say that to you? I want there to be more so I can keep watching more and more, Necron. I like it when it's too cold or too hot outside so there is the excuse to stay indoors and watch Farscape!

My familiy laughs at me, but then again, I don't give a rat's patookie what other people think. Do what you want; life is supposed to be a joy, not a pain. If it makes you feel good, like Farscape does for me, then do it. I don't do drugs or drink, and listening to good music or watching great movies or awesome TV is one of the best highs I get.
Take what you want from life, as long as you are willing to pay for it. If you do that no one elses ideas what is normal or not matter.

I don't smoke or drink either. I am 42 years old. I go to work, pay my bills and taxes and don't bother anyone, so why does it matter that I watch Farscape like you said? I enjoy getting home from work and watching Farscape and watching it on my days off too because like you said I don't watch most of what's on TV. I have a few shows I watch but not many though. I'm glad Space shows Farscape at a good time not here though. I'll be watching it late tonight when it comes on.

I've got to get it tomorrow. The store is 25 mi from here. I am tired from work and I am just going to relax and watch Farscape tonight.

Usually, when I sit down and watch Farscape(on saturday) it's from about 11am to midnight or later(with pitstops for food and restroom). I'm an addict, I know it, I'm frelling proud of it! Got a problem with it? Eh?! Take it up with Winona here! My trusty Airsoft gun!

too much is not enough
I go on episode binges, where I'll watch the same episode for a period of time. I first started doing it with the "Look At The Princess" trilogy (I'm huge on the 2-3 parters), to a point where I can quote most of it. Then I think I moved onto "Scratch n' Sniff". Then the "Into The Lion's Den" duo came out, and I watched that a lot (I'd been looking forward to ITLD for a looooong time, and sure enough, it was better than I anticipated). Of late it's been the "What Was Lost" series. I really enjoy that one.
Some people/Scapers might find that odd to do it that way, but it's just my cup of tea.
I really want more Season 4. I think I'll probably be one of the people who think S4 absolutely kicks ass. (As opposed to the people who were disappointed). How much Farscape is too much? No such figure. :D
