I wrote an e-mail to Calendarmart asking them about FS 2005 Calendar and I've just got their reply. Here it is:

"Hi Katarzyna,

I'm afraid due to unforseen circumstances we are not able to stock the
Farscape calendar for 2005, however we have been assured that one should
be available for 2006.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.

Kind regards

Andy

That's not indicating that there is no calendar for 2005, though. It merely says that they won't be stocking it...

Oh great. I guess for 2005 I'll be relegated to using the three-knockered girl from Total Recall pinup calendar.

Hate to say it but calendarmart are the official dsitributor for slowdazzle who make the calendar. If they can't get it then I doubt anyone else will. If you read http://www.farscapeworld.com/news/shownews.php?id=151 they did post a story that slow dazzle said they wouldn't be making one this year but hoped to have one out next year.

Ahhhhh.... That makes more sense. With a name like "CalendarMart," I thought they just sold a lot of calendars! :O

Okay - so there's no "Official" 2005 Farscape Calendar http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_2_4.gif ...... but cheer up, here's some really good news!

There is a Farscape 2005 calendar available! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_2.gif That's right - you heard correctly! You will not have a gap in your Scaper Calendar Collection. Instead of the regular Farscape Calendar you have come to love, you will have the opportunity to add a one of a kind - never to be repeated - Scaper Calendar!

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_3_68.gifWhat's inside?

It has the pictures of a number of your fellow Scapers who bravely posed for your entertainment - some in costume .... http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/im/chuckle.gif

:irked: Is that it?

NO! There's more!

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_2_34.gif

There are birthdays galore - most of the regular cast and many of the past guests and even a few of the writers and producers.
There are significant anniversaries about all your hard work in the save Farscape campaigns over the last 2 years.
There's every episode and the date it was first aired.
There's even an autograph page you can get signed at a Con. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_8_9.gif

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_20_25.gif

But wait, there's more .... There's a coupon from ADV towards more Farscape DVDs or Vids.

It comes with a stylish, laminated Peacekeeper Cover - just in time for our mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. It is shrink wrapped and best of all it is dedicated to the cast and crew and all who made Farscape for us. It is our way of saying thank you, to them for their dedication and hard work. It is also our way of commemorating our return of Farscape victory. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_28_112.gif

I'll put the question out on the dom (which seems to be down at the moment). I could have sworn I saw a post from davron a month or so ago taking orders for 2005. But maybe I just dreamed it?

There was even a cover of FS 2005 Calendar posted at Farscapeworld.com, but later came info from Slow Dazzle that they are not able to make FS calendar this year. Probably Davron was collecting orders BEFORE we knew bad news. I think I remember his post at SciFi board, too.

Amazon took heaps of preorders for this calendar (I have it on order myself) and I'm sure whoever Davron was getting his through were also allowing preorders. As Kali said Slowdazzle make the things. If they can't make them they won't appear through other channels. :( Roll on 2006..at least it's one thing Farscape related to look forward to next year :D
