I like to pretend I'm original, but if this has already been done here, just smile and nod and move on.

Here's the game. I'm going to post a line from a song. We're starting a dialogue here. The next poster will post a lyric from another song. It should be a line that could plausibly be a response to the line I posted. And so on.

Rules: Only good natured mockery of other people's tastes is allowed.

Please post the artist and title of the the song (or at least one of these). That way if someone sees a line they think is really kickass, and are interested in learning more about the artist, they can.

Okay, here's my line:

"Believe me, you really don't have to to worry. I only want to make you happy. And if you say 'hey go away' I will. But I think better still I better stick around and love you. Do you think I have a case? Let me ask you to your face."

Song: "I Think I Love You" by The Partridge Family.

bump...I know I told you guys that if something like this has already been posted just to ignore it...but I don't know if this is the case, and this is about to fall off the page...next time this happens I will just let it go.

i want to contribute...but the problem i have is that it takes way too much effort to find something that relates.

Now you promise me the moon and stars
Save your breath, you won't get very far
Gave you many chances to make change
The only thing you changed was love to hate
It doesn't matter what you do or what you say
She doesn't love you, no way
Maybe next time you'll give your woman a little respect
So you won't be hearing her say, "No way"

And she ain't worth half of me, it's true
Now I'm telling you
That I'm strong enough to live without you
Strong enough and I quit crying
Long enough, now I'm strong enough
To know you gotta go
Come hell or waters high
You'll never see me cry
This is our last goodbye, it's true
