Question about Aeryn going to Earth

In IP John told Aeryn he wanted her to go with him to Earth, and on his death bed she said she would have went. Generally speaking, John seems a little carefree about the situation. When they were having that conversation, all I could think about was that Tom Hanks/Darryl Hannah movie Splash, without the happy ending. Earth ain't the friendliest place when it comes to aliens, as they learned in A Human Reaction. No one but John would understand her language, she'd be probed and prodded and watched 24/7. I don't think Aeryn would deal with that very well, and I doubt that John could protect her from it. I know he loves her and wants to go home, but it seems to me he needs to put a lot more thought into what's best for Aeryn. Is it dealt with later in the series? If it is, please no specifics. Trying to be as unspoiled as possible.

Actually I finished S3 last night. Can anyone recommend a good psychiatrist? ;)

I think Ben Browder studied Psycology didn't he? If you need a shrink now, better strap yourself down when you watch season 4. Especially the last half of the season.

Thanks for the warning. I'm really excited about heading down this last leg of the ride. I think I'll stay clear of the S4 topics cause even the thread titles sometime give too much away. I've seen a couple eps on SciFi channel, but I'll stay clear of those from here out.

Aeryn looks human so I guess Crichton was hoping that noone would find out she was an alien or at least that they'd soon forget about it. He does face up to realities at the end of the season though.
