Sorry, guys. No exploding mutton chops today. It was just me whining in my Cartman voice about not being able to use the new posts button.
I understand the confusion though, the sounds are very similar.

my campus network is having problems that is dwarfing the issues i get when i come here...i get at least 5 DNS errors before any site will load. i'm lucky FMD came up. and as soon as it did, i left it on. it's easier to try to reload the page 30 times than it is to get the page to connect in the first place.

If it really sends an e-mail everytime you click on new posts and you get the error message....I must have sent ten already.......force of habit....hmm

I don't go through as many posts when I dont' have my new posts button. I'm lazy and don't like going all the forums. Plus I've been vidding again, which eats up all my PC resources.

When I posted this the database error wasn't happening yet. It seemed like the webserver crashed or something because I couldn't reach FMD for a while. When it finally loaded I was the only one online. And the new posts button did work after that; it's always the first link I click when I want my dose of FMD.

Now thats spooky........just done the windows update for service pack 2...(which took frelling foreve by the way) and now the "new post" button works.....

Unless its just been fixed of course..:D

I'm on Linux, with Mozilla, and it's busted for me too....can't blame MS this time.

It wasn't working for me at work, but when I got home, it was working again. It wasn't working for me at home last night or this AM. I've got XP and Mozilla. I guess I could check it out on IE, but I don't open it much anymore.
