Computer analysis reads the Marathon "Protester's" sign

He had a sign on his back, and after careful comptuer analysis, the Greek Government has released him as a National Hero, and gave him a glaring nomination for the "Scape the World" contest!

After learning about the man's sign, de Lima forgave him, and offered any help possible to Scape his home country of Brasil!

Cornelius Horan was later quoted saying "I'm not a loony, drunken Irishman, I'm a SCAPER, and, after learning about the 'SCAPE The World' contest, thought that this would be the best way."

Representitives from the Jim Henson company were unavailable for comment, representitives from watchfarscape.com did appreciate his efforts, but condemed the way in which he did it. "...if he really wanted to Scape the world, he should have slipped a line in the speaches at the end of the closing ceremonies!" they said.

I still feel bad for the runner. He was on pace to win the marathon... even though he was slowing when the guy grabbed him

It sounds like Brazil has filed an appeal with the IOC, in an effort to get Lima a Gold medal.

Worst case scenario, they'll re-run the race :eek:

At least the runner was very good about it, and the president of the Olympic Committee gave him a special medal as well at the closing ceremony. That was cool.
