Well, as most of you know, I was laid off in April and have been bored all summer. Well, after over 60 resumes sent out and 9 interviews... I am back with the company that laid me off. Yeah, I know I said I wasn't going to go back... but this is rediculous. My brother sent out over 100 resumes and once he got a new job, he had 12 interviews/offers... so I am hoping for the same thing. Pay is the same as when I was let go, so that isn't bad. Start again on Wednesday... so I will finally be able to have money. Yeah me!!!

So, does that count as a Leave of Absense or a Sabaticle? :D
Hopefully something better comes along, but kudos for now! ;)

It counts as a layoff. I don't lose my seniority or my vacation time... but I lose all the weeks of vacation for this year.

That sucks. Will they at least give you some time at Christmas?

Oh, I will still get the 8 days off that the company still has this year. I just lose the 3 weeks of vacation and the 5 sick days. One cool thing is that, added all together, I have 35 days off a year. Because of Government regulations... and Federal Holidays.

Well at least you will be gainfully employed again.......and you know I think you have changed your avatar at least three times just today......:P

Excellent News grinner! And you're probably right. For whatever reason, employers are more apt to give offers to people who are already working than those who are not. I hope they start pouring in for you.

yeah, I am thinking that on January First or there about... I may have to 'injure' my shoulder... or maybe my knee. though the knee would be a two week turn-around... the shoulder will be a long recovery time.
