If you could be reincarnated, what would you choose?

I'm sitting here admiring the good life my cats have. They have no responsibilities, no cares. Someone feeds, waters and cleans up after them. Their biggest hassle during the day is following the sunny spot across the carpet.

I have decided that in my next life, I want to come back as a pampered house cat. Not one of those strays, a nice indoor kitty who has loving people who would let me outside every now and then.

Anyone else have any reincarnation requests?

LOL LT Garrix! I have always thought of coming back as one of my cats. They seriously have the best life ever. :D They even steal my bed (see the Pillow War thread). They're fed, watered, have their crap cleaned up, provided with toys, and loved beyone comparison.

I too would choose a pampered housecat. :)

OH, yeah, mine steal my bed, too. One day when hubby was gone I woke up because I was cold. Turns out I was lying across the head of the bed. The cats had shoved me sideways and up against the headboard. One other time, they shoved my husband over so I was hanging on to about 4 inches of bed. I tried to crawl in the other side of the bed, but a sleeping cat weighs about a 1000 lbs. I ended up in the guest room :D

House cats do appear to have a pretty easy life. However coming back as a housecat would mean barfing up hairballs - and I don't think that would be fun at all! ;)

If I can't come back as a cat, I wanna come back as Paris Hilton, only with a brain. Or maybe one of those Heinz boys... or one of their wives. Cute and rich. :D

Lets not forget that the majority of cats on this planet are feral and hungry, those that are pets are "fixed" and almost every cat is afraid of baths.

I happen to love water and I've become fairly attached to my sex drive as well.

Well, mine were fixed so young they presumably have no idea what they are missing. And while I love taking hot baths, I could give it up to sit around and do nothing except wonder who's going to pet me next. :D My two are big time attention hounds.

I think no matter what you choose, there are pluses and minuses.

I always wanted to come back as a wolf but the world has grown on me some and I still like being around other people in a wide diversity.

I think I'll be reincarnated anyway but if I could choose I'd like to be something kind of mythical where I could range the natural earth and still help people ... like errr ... a forest child/elf ranger Sam Beckett hehehe :p I guess like a dream catcher or a spirit guide or a shapeshifter dryad. *shrug, wierd but true.

Not to pop your bubble DB, but something real important you need to know, those squid beaks don't digest in the sperm whale, nor do they 'pass through', they just build up over time, constantly, and painfully sticking into the whale's guts until the whale can no longer stand it and suicidially beaches itself.

I found this out when I read an article about a dead beached whale, they cut open it's gut and squid beaks poured out of it.

I like the wild flower :) I'd be a blue one or a dragonfly. I'd love to come back in a bunch of short lives just to experience being different things like a dragonfly and a tree frog.

Living one life after another the same ole me would be very boring and unfullfilling and I don't think I could handle the memories of a past life if present life is so difficult as it is. We have to suffer to live ... but geez, why suffer something so gone ago you died already???

LOL, LT Garrix, when I saw your message title, I was going to say I want to come back as one of my cats! I guess you and JadedLegend3 and I are not the only ones who think that way!

My cats each had a rough spot in their lives, but now live pampered and spoiled lives. The house is strewn with cat toys. I grow catnip special for them. My SO and I sit on hard metal folding chairs so they can nap in our comfy chairs. If I find fillet mignon on sale, they get a bit of it when we grill out, not to mention a bit of everything else we grill out. They don't even have to move to get it, the SO brings it to them and waves it under their noses. One cat is allowed outside, so we dutifully get up to let him in or out whenever he wants. We put a chair up to the screen door so the other cat can look outside if she wants. If one of them is off its feed or is a bit subdued, I worry obsessively about its health and if I need to take it to the vet. I probably have $200 in cat health books. They get better medical care than we do.

Yea, they are neutered. But I think I could give up sex to lie around in sunny spots all day, be petted and cuddled and played with whenever I wanted, and my biggest concern was if it was 5:00 pm yet so I could get fed my favorite treat, wet Friskies.

I'd just make sure to read the fine print before agreeing to come back as anything!! There's always SOME catch........ I mean, really... no sex? squid beaks in your gut? a flower that can be stomped on or eaten in less than a heartbeat?

I think I like human..... but you have to remember there that when you were a kid you wanted to be grown, and now that you're grown, you want to be a kid..... :dunno:

I used to work on the London Black Taxi Cabs as a diesel fitter, and anyone who mentioned the word 'comeback' would know it to be known as a job that had been incorrectly carried out or that somebody had dropped a spanner in the works.

Anyway, I'm thinking to meself, if I comeback, am I just a comeback job? Does it mean that my first life was a complete and utter waste of time? No! :eek: Don't answer that! :rollin:

P.S. I've always wanted to know from those who might know the answer to this question; If re-incarnation is possible would it not make more sense to comeback as a higher life-form?
