Yup, just crossed that milestone against the Padres Jake Peavy. 15 more and he passes that Babe. Hopefully that happens on the 30th when the Giants play the Pads and I'll be there watching. ;)

I think something like this is good for baseball. Gives casual fans something to be interested in. And if he does hit 715 when I'm there. I won't be catching it. We're sitting in a box on the first base line.

McGuire was on Andro, which is about to me made illegal in America. I don't think either of their records should count.

Personally, I didn't like Mark. There was something about him that struck me as wrong at the time and I was proven right. I agree that it shouldn't count, or should at least be annotated that he was on performance enhancing substance. That way people can see that Maris' record was more worthy. Of course, Barry holds it now, so that's become a moot point, unless they prove something on him.

Creatine is the only substance I think they should allow. I use it all the time, and when I played football in High School, the coaches sold it to us themselves.
