Food Network had a message board with forums for each of their shows. They recently announced that they are closing their boards September 30th. So some people started a new board a couple of weeks ago. If you're into cooking, recipes or any of the shows on FN, stop on by.

Oh yeah, you'll notice that the only forum you can get in to is the OT forum. To get to the others, you have to register. This is because there was a real problem with trolls on the FN board and they're trying to keep them out and not even let them see what's going on. Registering without posting will last for five days. If you want to continue, you have to make at least one post. Then you can lurk forever if you want (really high drama with the trolls at FN).

I never went into the forum, but I have printed a lot of the recipes from the shows.

Okay, I have to say it... trolls at a food/cooking board!? What kind of big troll thrills could there be in being a food board troll? Making rude suggestions about things to do with cucumbers? Starting flame wars on butter vs. olive oil? Posting random porn involving Uncle Ben and Betty Crocker? Rude photo manips of the Hamburger Helper mascot giving the wrong "we're number one" sign? I'm stunned. And that takes a lot.
