I mostly lurk on the boards these days but I’m delurking to announce:
WHAT: Special MEET AND GREET for California Scapers,
WHY: In celebration of the Mini-Series. Meet your fellow fanatics...er fans. See old friends. Make new ones, and talk Farscape! Farscape!! Farscape!!!
WHEN: Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00 PM and going until the conversation stops or they throw us out, whichever comes first. :D
WHERE: Hamburger Hamlet in beautiful downtown Hollywood (across from Mann’s Chinese Theater and Hollywood and Highland Complex). They serve more than just hamburgers with enough variety to please almost any appetite and at a moderate price too. Added bonus: there’s a bar on the premises so if anyone has a hankering for pizza and margaritas; you are in luck.
Driving and Public Transportation directions (yes, folks, you do not need a car to join the fun) will be given at a later date.
I’ve set up a special address just for the occasion. Sign up for the festivities at farscaper555@yahoo.com so I can get an accurate count in order to make the appropriate reservations.
If you’re interested, just give a holler and keep the date open. I’ll be posting with more details as the date gets closer. Feel free to pass this invitation along. The more the merrier.
